"We just came back from a wonderful week spent on this beautiful property. The stunning North Shore location is unbeatable. The home provided plenty of outdoor space for our two families. There is a large grassy area and even a tree swing to entertain the kids if the sand and surf aren't enough. While the beach right in front of the house is a bit rougher than Tunnels, it was fun for our children (ages 10-12) to play in the surf. The view from the front porch is better than that from any luxury hotel on the island. Wish we could have stayed longer!"

"We just got back from staying at this house. The location on the North Shore was great and the house was pristine. It is well stocked and the supply room has chairs, snorkeling equipment, boogie boards and shoes to walk on the lava flats. My only negative comment and the reason why I could not give the location five stars is that the internet was horrendous. The speed was less than .25 MB/sec. I could not remotely access my office. Living on the east coast, one of the reasons why I like to vacation west is that the time change allows me to get up very early and work several hours before I start the day. This was impossible and unfortunately, like most people, my business requires a few hours of work per day. What was interesting is that the house had Cable TV. I called the cable company and they stated that they offered speeds of up to 50 MB/sec. I found it odd that a multi-million dollar house would have such terrible internet in this day and age.
We were at the house for one week and we had 4 good days of weather. I would come back in the early summer for better weather. The water temperature was about 75 degrees when we snorkeled."

"Our three generation family of eight rented both the Butterfly House and the Tree House for 10 days. Both homes were comfortable, clean and spacious. The yard was great for the kids as was the lovely private beach just minutes away. The home is in the nicest and least populated part of the island and for almost all of our days this was perfect. We did have one very early sail and snorkel activity booked at the opposite end of the island and that was a bit of a push. We cooked almost all of our meals in and that was a good thing. While I didn't find most things in Kauai much more expensive than where I live, eating out had far fewer choices and was much more expensive than home. The outside cupboard has all of the beach paraphernalia that you would ever need. The kitchen is well stocked, the laundry was very handy and in general everything was in good working order. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come again if we have the opportunity"

The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was very happy with the location.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
This was a lovely home with a wonderful lanai that we throughly enjoyed. We had hot weather for Kauai when we were there and the house does get quite hot and stuffy during the day and early evening. Although sitting on the lanai did help. The location was great as we could walk to Tunnels which we loved."
