  • French Painters paradise at Hale Ono

"I love the location at Hale Ono at the North Shore in Kauai. I have painted palm trees, water, mountain scenery, sky, clouds, rainbows and other beautiful scenes of the tropics. There are so many variations in shadows and colors that inspire me to pay particular attention to the fine details of shadowing and nuances of color mixing. i also like the homeopathic community that exists in Kauai also. There are great massages, acupuncture, chiropractor treatment, yoga, chanting, herbs, etc. The variety of fruits are sensational and fresh. I enjoy swimming at the local beaches near Hale Ono in particular Tunnels Beach, Ke'e Beach, Hanalei Beach, and in front of the home during the spring and summer months. i am looking to possibly move to Hawaii because of the awe inspiring views, rainbows, waterfalls, sunsets, flowers, people, customs, and organic fruits, vegetables, and fish. France has been wonderful but Hawaii is my new dream come true and my new canvas for life."

  • Ideal place in wonderful location

"This studio had everything we needed in a tidy, spacious, private location. We were in Kauai for a wedding, most of our friends rented larger 4 bedrooms homes. We feel so lucky to have had this lovely place to ourselves. Kitchenette ideal for breakfast and simple meals for two people. Everything was sparkling clean and very well kept. Nice small touches such as a cooler and beach chairs for the beach right across the street. Could not ask for anything more. We would highly recommend this property."

  • Paradise in Kauai

"Beautiful home and location. Very clean. The porch was the best part about this house and we spent many hours on it enjoying the gorgeous view. The kitchen was well stocked. Beach chairs, umbrellas and toys also available. Three king beds were perfect for our three couples. The property manager, Julie, was close by and extremely attentive. We hired a private chef, Aurora Rosin, and that was one of the highlights of our trip. Don't hesitate to lease this home."

  • Kolohala Studio in January

"Beautiful place with lots of beach nearby, easy walk for snorkeling, swimming, boogie board, and experienced surfers. In winter, always check surf and tide reports on North Shore. Anini is a short drive for an all-day snorkel trip. Walk to Haena State Beach along the ocean. Amenities are perfect for the location. Very comfortable, amazing view of the mountains from any spot in the studio. Particularly sweet when clouds moving in and out at night. Lots of good fresh food nearby -- multiple growers markets (Waipa and Hanalei) and fish market in Hanalei -- made our own food almost all of the time. Plenty of outside areas at the studio. Beautiful bath with plenty of shelf space for storing clothes after unpacking (2.5 week stay). Also, nice outside shower. Surfing lesson at Hanalei Bay -- go to the pier and talk to Alekai. He's in the van or sitting outside the van with all the surfboards. He set me up with a 1:1 lesson with Evan Valiere and I'm a beginner. That was our 4th trip to Kauai and we've stayed in a different part of the island each time. North Shore is my favorite. Lots of nearby hiking either Na Pali or trailheads closer to Hanalei."
