"This house and the location are an excellent spot for a vacation. The house is as beautiful as the pictures shown. It is very comfortable and well maintained. The entrance and yard are excellent. The views and beaches are spectacular. This is a prime location on Kauai. It is a short drive to Hanalei and very close to the Na Pali State Park. Tunnels Beach is a 10 minutes walk and has excellent snorkeling. You can sit on the deck, with cool ocean breezes, and watch surfers, kite boarders and sea turtles go by. We did not want to leave and would definitely go back."

"We spent a glorious 2 weeks at Hale Aloha. We are a family of 4, with 2 kids under 12, along with aunt, grandma and cousin (7 altogether). We rented the entire home plus the beach cottage so we had a lot of room to spread out. The house is beautiful, with everything we needed to be comfortable and I can't imagine a more beautiful spot! The cottage was also perfect - great little secluded place for a couple. So close to the Na pali coast and beautiful beaches as well as to cute Hanalei where we enjoyed the tuesday and saturday markets. We spent every evening in, cooking and enjoying wonderful dinners in the dining room and lanai. We enjoyed the beach in front of the house - the kids loved getting crashed by the surf - as well as the quiet "swimming beach" as we called it, 5 minutes walk down the beach. Here we spent many a day searching for shells, wading in the water and doing some spectacular snorkeling. Tunnels beach was a quick car ride (5 minutes) where the kids loved to boogie board in the surf. I highly recommend Hale Aloha and can only hope that we can come back one day for another visit."

"We were so blown away with all of the extra touches you guys added to this place. Nothing was needed, everything we needed was supplied. First of all the view are breath taking. Right when we walked in, the Hawaiian music was playing and the gift basket on the table with local treats was perfect! This place was more than we ever dreamed. It's a cute cottage with everything you need. Christine was so sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. We hope to come back again one day. Thank you for letting us stay!"

"Let me start by saying that we had one of a kind experience at the Jungle Riverhouse. If you are looking for a unique and super comfortable stay then look no further, you have found it. The place is as described on the post and photos, if not less credited for what they really were. My husband and I stayed for one week with our 8 months old baby and two grandmas. We enjoyed every single moment of our experience.
Upon arrival, we were blown away by how spacious and beautiful the property is. Rooms are tastefully decorated and very clean. There is plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone to have their space and feel comfortable. The garden is absolutely gorgeous with streams running through and amazing plants and flowers abound. There is also a vegetable and herb garden and of course all kinds of fruit trees! We enjoyed taking walks around the property admiring the landscaping and picking lychees which was a kind of tropical fruit in season during the time we were there. It was another treat to be able to fall asleep to the relaxing sound of the stream and wake up to chirping birds.
The property also has all the amenities you can ask for. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials. We were able to make many gourmet meals. We especially appreciated the items they have available for our little one: a nice comfortable crib, pack and play, high chair, tons of beach toys, etc.
The property is about 10 min drive to Hanalei and very close to the cave and Na Pali coast line trail. We all managed to do the Hanakapiai Beach hike which was one of the many highlights of our trip. The views of the Na'pali coast were simply breathtaking.
Rocky and Amanda are very nice and helpful. They were prompt in answering our questions and accommodating since we had a change in our flight schedule. They and their property manager checked in with us a couple of times during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed which we appreciated. We highly recommend this place and look forward to our return to Kauai and staying there again."
