"Great house RIGHT on the beach, what more can I say.
Would not recommend if you are looking to go out to dinner every night as Hanalei is not far in distance but is far in time. Haena is not a town at all."

"We were in awe when we walked up the driveway and saw our very own tropical paradise! The interior of the house is decorated with Hawaiian flair and every aspect was extremely clean. It was the perfect cozy home we wanted after spending a week in hotels in Maui. I loved the beach and searching for shells. It was very easy to work with Acacia to book the rental too. We would definitely come back, but not in November, most days it rained on the north shore. Not a problem though, we just headed to the south shore and enjoyed the sunshine there! We loved the little town, Hanelei, with all of the shops and restaurants."

"Our group (four adults and three kids) truly enjoyed our time at this home. The location is simply lovely- on a quiet street literally steps from a beautiful beach that was generally empty. There is nothing better than ending and beginning your day with a walk on a nearly vacant, warm beach. (We did find the beach too rough for kids to swim in but there were plenty of options not too far away). You felt the Kauai magic when you walked, barefoot, through the path to the beach!
The home itself was open, very clean and had all the amenities we could want- from a plethora of plates, dishes, towels etc. to snorkel gear. The home also had washer, dryer, and dishwasher.
We enjoyed being a bit out of town and away from the mainstream tourist spots. The sheer beauty of the North Shore is breathtaking and kept us close by! We usually drove into Hanalei during the day for supplies or Princeville (for snorkeling for the kids). We explored the botanical gardens nearby and the Na' Pali trail. We loved the spot so much we didn't make it further South than Kapaa during our trip, except to fly home. This is not the place to be in a hurry- driving is slow and there are numerous one-lane bridges that you have to cross between the home and Hanalei. (Again, this was not an issue for us at all).
The owner, Bill, is very nice to deal with and accommodating. I loved this spot so much I didn't want to leave and cannot wait to come back."
