  • The Perfect Spot

"Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The pictures really don't tell the story of this house. The location is great for hanging around the north end and a one hour drive to things around the airport. Walk to the beach in 2 minutes and feel like you have a slice of heaven to yourself. The house was perfect with a full kitchen and lots of room for the family to be together and spread out. Three decks, two up, and one down make it great for sitting outside for all meals. The house was clean and ready on time. The memories will be with my family for the rest of our lives."

  • Our favorite place ever...

"We finally decided to vacation in Haena over Poipu a few years ago, and never looked back. We love Haena, and we love Kaulana Naue. For us, it's perfect. The area is pristine, low key, unassuming and spectacular. There's a raw beauty and a relaxed attitude here that keeps bringing us back. And the home is perfect, from the location to the size, layout, decor and furnishings. Leila keeps the place in great shape and well outfitted, which is a good thing because once you set foot in Haena and in this home, there's no reason to go anywhere. The layout provides plenty of privacy when needed, but you will find yourself together - either at the beach, on the deck, or in the open kitchen/living area. It's awesome, and it feels like home from the minute you get there. We're addicted to this place, and literally count the days until we get back. Highly recommended for families looking to check out and decompress!"

  • Close to Ke'e Beach

"My sister and I and our spouses stayed in this house for a week. We are senior citizens so I can attest to the comfort of this house. You will have to carry your suitcases to the 2nd floor if you are staying up there, but there are 2 BRs on the bottom floor as well. Being from Mississippi, we were worried about no A/C, but we opened the windows and turned on the fans and we were fine. We liked having our own bathroom and I must say that all of the bathrooms were really first class. Kitchen was top notch. Only thing missing was an electric hand mixer but we made do with what they had. This house is close to Ke'e beach -- 2 miles down the road. It is the best beach for snorkeling -- but get there early. We left the house at 8:15 and were there just in the nick of time to get a parking place in the lot, but still a walk to the beach. The house is a 30 second walk to the Kapuhi beach. We would set out our chairs at night on the sand and watch the sunsets. It was beautiful."

  • Enjoying house living on Kauai

"Our extended family of 5 really enjoyed being in a home. Best of all was having the beautiful beach so close. We were on it everyday rain or shine; and there was plenty of rain. The view from the lanai is fantastic. The house had all the amenities that we needed. The only fault I give it is the low lighting in all the rooms especially the bathrooms. We had a couple of glitches (the refrigerator leaked all over the floor). The property management was right on top of it, having a repairman come out within hours of calling. There was house construction in the neighborhood, but that proved to be no problem at all (noise wise). I would definitely recommend this home for a family. Be ware that the house is raised and has stairways to reach the living area. Carrying luggage and groceries up the stairs might prove troublesome to some people. Too bad there isn't some kind of elevator system for luggage, etc."
