  • Great place to stay with extended family!

"We had a great time at the Tiki house. It really was like being In a tree house when you are upstairs, level with some of the tree tops. The master bedroom is huge, a nice space to hang out with the kids when they get up super early and everyone else is still sleeping. The back yard is completely private and well maintained. There were bikes to use, but unfortunately with young kids we didn't get much use out of them. There were many sand toys, boogie boards and beach chairs to use. The kitchen was so big that we could have 3 people working on making dinner and not feel crowded at all. The location was great, even our young kids had no problem making the walk to the beach or the the shops. The local market was great. We have already recommended this house to a friend!"

  • Pefect Paradise Retreat

"We gathered together our children and grandchildren (10 of us total) to share our favorite place, Hanalei Bay. The Hanalei Bay House with its convenient location, ideal floorplan, and beautiful furnishings made our family vacation even more wonderful. The Hanalei Bay House was the "Perfect Paradise Retreat" house for us. The grandkids want to return every year!"

  • peaceful and relaxing

"We had a really nice time in this comfortable home near a lovely beach. The snorkeling was great, and we were lucky to see a monk seal on the sand one day. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well supplied. The location was convenient to Ke'e beach with great hiking, but a long drive to other sites of interest. We went to Hanalei Bay several times. The staff was helpful and easy to reach. One thing you should know is that there are wild roosters all over Kauai, and there was one living in the garden of Keiki Leo, crowing loudly for hours, starting at 4:30 AM. Some mornings were worse than others, but it woke all of us up every morning. I thought roosters crowed once at dawn then stopped-- I was wrong. they start before dawn, then keep crowing intermittently for hours, very loudly. I'm not sure what can be done about this issue, since there are so many roosters and they are protected, but if you are a light sleeper, I recommend bringing earplugs."

  • Just What We Wanted in Hanalei

"The cottage was comfortable, clean, well-maintained, and served us well during our stay. We didn't take advantage of the grill and huge backyard (except the awesome outdoor shower) since the beach is right down the road. Town is even closer. Perfect location, well-maintained, and cute! Attractions: Hanalei Bay, Beaches, NaPali Coast, Hanalei Yoga, SUP rentals, Tuesday and Saturday markets, chickens!"
