"We were so impressed with the house. When we arrived there was coffee and caramel corn waiting for us and the home is even more spacious in person. It was super clean and comfortable too! Annalise was very quick to respond with any questions. Especially helpful was the book with all of the local restaurants and things to do. The home is gorgeous and it truly felt like home away from home for us. We would recommend staying here and can't wait to stay here again in the future."

"This was our first trip to Hawaii and this house only helped make it unforgettable! We loved everything about this house! Everything was high quality - furniture, linens, towels, etc; the location was just a quick 1/2 block walk to the beach so my husband could get out to surf every morning; the open floor layout was perfect for entertaining and the house was spotless! We highly recommend this home and look forward to staying here again!"

"We book this wonderful house for a week to celebrate our 40th anniversary with our 3 grown sons and their wives. The house is spacious and we never felt that we didn't have room to spread out. The kitchen on the top floor is the "working" kitchen, we used the downstairs kitchen to store extra food and drinks in the frig and to store our Costco purchases and just brought everything up when needed.
The highlight for the 3 "30 something couples" was having our own bathrooms for each bedroom. It gave an amount of privacy that made the week even better.
This house is really close to the beach and to the town. Yes, you can walk everywhere and that Hanalei Bay is so large we never felt like we were fighting crowds.
There is a wonderful farmers market on Tuesdays just up the road past Hanalei, it is a great place to get fresh local produce and don't forget to stop at the "pie Lady" and purchase a slice or a whole pie. We had it for dessert one night and loved the passion fruit cheesecake.
Our island host, Justin, was great. He answered all our questions and arranged outings for us and even a private surf lesson for 3 of our kids.
We would rent this home again if we are in the north side of kauai. We felt safe and tucked away a bit from the town. Ke'e and Tunnels Beach are literally 17 minutes away enabling us to get there earlier than the Poipu crowd and find a parking spot without having to drive an hour.
We loved eating at Postcards Cafe (reservations needed) it was a delightful way to end our celebration week."

I was very happy with the location.
I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
Aloha, Lani Kai was a fabulous home to rent. Our daughter was getting married on Kauai and Lani Kai provided us with an elegant home to have friends and family gather. It's everything the pictures show and more. The kitchen is well equipped and the home is spotless. Krisha was very helpful when ever we had a need. Thank you so much!!"
