  • Perfect balance of all you need

"We have been coming to Hanalei for 35 years and have seen it all. This home really is a perfect balance of all Princeville/Hanalei has to offer and has literally the most spectacular view of any place we have stayed. You are located in the heart of Princeville with easy beach access and reserved parking. Great proximity to golfing, hiking, whale watching, restaurants, grocery store, shopping and only a 10 minute drive to Hanalei. The home itself is clean and well kept with all the expected amenities in good working order (appliances, TV, DVD, wifi, etc.) you can really tell the owners are conscientious and have taken good care of the place as these units were built some time ago. The owners were also promptly responsive and were very helpful with our needs. We also really appreciated some of the unexpected little extras like beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, etc. In summary, this home is very well priced and exceeded our expectations, has a truly remarkable view and we will not hesitate to return here on our next trip to Hanalei. We just hope it's available."

  • Fit our needs perfectly

"My husband, myself and another couple stayed at Hale Maile over Christmas. We had such a wonderful experience. Everything was exactly as described. And Kauai was even better than we anticipated. The location is on a quiet street, close to town. You could even walk or ride bikes (provided at the house) into Hanalei. The house was clean and in wonderful condition. Nothing was amiss. The rental came with a complete list of all of the ins and outs of the house, these were clear and easy to understand. Having a washer and dryer was a wonderful bonus. And although we never cooked beyond breakfast the kitchen was well stocked. We spent plenty of time of the large deck, enjoying the cool breezes and sounds of rainfall. We would highly recommend Hale Maile and will hopefully return soon!"

  • Awesome Family Vacation

"We, a family of eight, enjoyed our stay in this home. It certainly was a "home away from home", everything we wanted and needed. It definitely is a easy walk to town, restaurants, family market and mainly the beach. We would highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to stay in Hanalei Bay. In fact, we have to family and friends. We had a wonderful time and hope we have the opportunity to go back again. Thank You Jake, Jennifer and Mindy. Joanne & Family, North Vancouver, BC"

  • Lovely, clean, well maintained unit.

"This unit is everything advertised, and more than met our expectations. The unit was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen is fully stocked with quality utensils and updated appliances. The condo comes with beach chairs, towels, snorkel equipment, cooler, children's toys. The owner has taken particular care with the lanai to provide a private, beautiful space, and included a nice gas barbecue. The master bed is comfortable (didn't try the trundle bed). We were very pleased at how close it is to the Westin (nice restaurant) and Princeville Center. Other reviewers have mentioned the bathrooms and the couch could be updated, but at its rate, the unit is a terrific value. The trail to Anini beach is steep, can be slippery, and drops about 150 ft. We chose to drive to the beaches. But we're seniors. We would definitely stay here again."
