Beautiful Mauna Kai Condo
"My wife and I stayed 10 days at this clean, well equipped condo at Princeville in early May. The condo is an end unit with a whole extra wall of windows for excellent ventilation and views. The new granite counter tops, the new tile in the kitchen and baths, and the tasteful Oriental decor gave a luxury feel to the place. You can even play "Goldilocks" on the high quality mattresses, soft, medium, and firm. When the DVD player went out we called Steve. He is a real character who I remembered meeting at a farmers market (try noni and soursup) the year before. We soon had a new DVD player so my wife could do her yoga on rainy days and I could play my music. He told us about great places to eat like the culinary fair at the shops in Poipu. The pool was huge but we spent most of our time exploring north shore beaches and trails. Mahalo, Mike and Kris"

"My husband and I just stayed at the Blue Anini Cottage for our honeymoon. I was very impressed. The most striking thing was how clean it was. Also spacious, nice bathroom/shower, and the bed was very comfortable. The lanai was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a meal or drink. We were awakened by roosters most mornings, but they're everywhere so just prepare yourself and know that most of the time they take breaks! The location was perfect--close to both Princeville and Hanalei. The grill, beach accessories, coffee, and macadamia nuts that were provided were a nice treat. We would definitely stay here again. As far as things in the area that we enjoyed, we found the grocery store in Princeville good for most of the things we wanted. We ate at Bouchon's in Hanalei twice--casual atmosphere with beautiful mountain views and great sushi for much less than we paid elsewhere. We also found the Mai Tai's at Tahiti Nui in Hanalei to be the best (as advertised!)."

"Excellent location for all that the North Shore has to offer and within walking distance of the Princeville Center for morning paper & coffee, shopping, ice cream, restaurants etc. In 2 weeks we never ventured more then 10-12 miles from "home"; two weeks without a traffice light!!
The condo is very comfortable with some of the best ammenities we have had in a rental (knives that you can actually use to cut food!). Maybe the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in, great shower, comfortable lanai w/nice grill, good stuff for the beach etc. The hosts were very helpfull with suggestions and answering questions. It was nice dealing with a private owner and not a real estate/rental company. We already miss "our" Princeville "home" in paradise."

"The unit is well equipped with your starter needs (soaps, trash bags etc). Was very clean and although there is no AC, with the fans and open windows to catch the ocean breeze, it was a comfortable stay. As other's have said the more private entrance is nice. My only complaints is that the description lacks the correct definition for the upstairs bedroom. IT IS NOT A BEDROOM, it is a loft. So if you need complete privacy, then this unit may not be for you. Since we were a single family it worked out well. I would highly recommend this unit to others."
