Truly a Paradise!
"Everything the other reviews say is true. The beauty and luxuriousness of the home. Clean, full of stunning fresh flower arrangements, quality furnishings, appliances, kitchenware, linens, towels...and more. The farm is private and bursting with color and birdsong. There is an organic garden for picking fresh greens and herbs from. We picked pineapple, lychee, passion fruit and papaya off the trees every morning. The location is perfect for many North Shore outings, while also being quiet and serene and away from the crowds...the perfect combination. The hosts, Ellen and Jim are generous, kind, and lovely people who obviously pour their heart and soul into this gem they aptly named Kauai Paradise Inn."

The property manager was more than helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was very happy with the location.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
An amazing view! I spent 12 of the 14 days of my honeymoon at sea lodge j3 and it was great. There's a little mall with everything you need just a few minutes away. The views are exceptional and the sea lodge was very serene. It felt like my cabin back home but with all the magic that is Kauai. I was visiting during the summer when the north of the island is pretty accommodating, there is no air conditioner but the natural breeze is usually enough to cool you off. If the breeze stops however (which was rare) it can get pretty warm pretty quick and you'll be needing the fan. I would definitely use sea lodge j3 again because it had everything the wife and I needed and more. The secret beach is a bit of a trek (10 -15 min walk, max) and is a bit tricky if it's wet out, but was one of my favourite beaches mostly because it was secluded and had some alright snorkelling. All in all, we were very happy."

"The cottage was very attractive and clean. When there were issues (for example, not enough linens), the on-island helper was quick and friendly in fixing them. They should definitely advertise the heat pump in the living room and the AC in the bedroom--they were lifesavers in this extraordinary heat wave! (We kind of stumbled upon the heat pump--I wasn't sure what that thing in the ceiling was.) We loved hanging on the porch with the local cat (a sweet outdoor cat you may feed if you'd like--the owners supply the kibble). We particularly appreciated the well-prepared binder of information about the North Shore. Clearly these folks love and care about the island!
The location could be a bit handier for a tourist--we like being able to walk places, and even lovely Anini Beach is more than a mile away. But there's not much the owner can do about that!"

"this house was perfect for my family--myself, my husband, and our 2 teenage sons. everyone had their own quarters and the common areas are really comfortable. The house is super close to the most beautiful beach. perfect location--close to towns, beach and feels private. i would definitely recommend this house to others. one thing--and this is common to the whole island, from what i could see--there is an abundance of crowing roosters which start crowing VERY early in the AM--i got earplugs and it made a HUGE difference and i would still go back to this island and this house in a heartbeat. aloha!"
