"Ken and Chris could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We were thrilled with little corner of paradise. After a very busy day, coming back to the house felt extremely restful.
Our only bit of excitement was having my wife find a large centipede in the bathroom. But, if you don't like critters you might want to avoid the tropics. *grins*
We give our full endorsement to anyone who wants a comfortable, private place to stay in a gorgeous setting.
My main interest was in bird photography. I was able to photograph about 15 species between the beginning of the driveway and the other end of the property. You can see the photos from the island on my flickr.com site. Just look for user - Rons Bird Pictures. Check the folder labeled Kauai."

"We loved the light and airy living space. Close to pool, hot tub and BBQ. All the beach gear was great to use! The beaches were breathtaking. We went whale watching at the Lighthouse, traveled up river to Fern Grotto, drove to Wiamea Canyon and so much more! We would not hesitate to stay here again!"

"We were so glad to have stayed at Bruce and Susan's beautiful guesthouse in the green mountains yet just 10 minutes away from pristine and secluded beaches. The wraparound veranda is perfect for watching the incredible sunsets, and you have everything you need for cooking and relaxing. The beach chairs, towels and snorkel gear were a big plus. Hanalei and Kilauea are a short drive away, and Kilauea has a super farmers market. The bed was great and so quiet there for sleeping. Thanks to our hosts for making our stay so special. Truly a paradise. Until we meet again. Ahui ho!"

"My husband and I were in Linda's condo March 24 - 31, 2015. When we first walked into the condo could not see anything but the view. I have never stayed anywhere with such an outstanding view. But, back to the condo -- the first things I look for in a rental is clean and comfortable. This condo was both. It was just as presented to us on VRBO, it was very clean, the king bed was comfortable, the sofas in the living area were also very comfortable, the TV's worked great and so did the wifi. The kitchen had everything we needed, although we did very little cooking. In the bathroom, there is a tub shower. The shower was great and there was a bar on the wall to hold onto when stepping in. Plenty of towels, beach towels, beach chairs, etc. There is a full size washer and dryer in the condo. And, we loved the lanai. The chairs with cushions rocked and the small table in that area were just right for having coffee, breakfast or lunch. The condo is just perfect for a couple, but no more than two people. The condo does not have a/c, but it was not needed. There is great cross ventilation, and we had to at times close some of the windows as it got cool. The little path down to the beach was too much for us. We started down but did not complete the trek. We are in our early 70's and just felt we should not do it. I surely hope to be able to return there when we next plan a trip to Kauai."
