  • Live like a Kamaaina

"If you are looking for an authentic Hawaiian experience, rather than being packed in like sardines with other tourists, you will love this apartment. Located in the agricultural area between Kilauea and Princeville, nestled in the lee of beautiful mountains, this two bedroom, two bath unit features a gourmet kitchen, great screened in lanai as well as multiple patios and a great grill for home barbecues. With fresh eggs in the refrigerator, grapefruit, orange and kumquat trees and a wonderful garden you can enjoy the bounty of paradise. Kids will enjoy exploring the small pond a stream on the property, lots of room tho run, and adults who value serenity will find it here. The apartment shows great pride of ownership and includes beach gear, snorkel gear, all you need for living comfortably in a home away from home. If you want nightlife and restaurants you will have to drive about five miles, easy to do--Highly recommended for relaxation and experiencing the true Kauai lifestyle."

  • Paradise Found

"My wife and I have visited Kauai for 20 years and wanted to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary with a more unique experience. Our expectations were high, but Mia Huna far exceeded them. The appointments of the home are first class and complete. You want for nothing. Whether sitting on the pool deck, in one of the two jacuzzis, the lanai, or in the house, the views are breathtaking and serene. Fall asleep each night to the waves crashing on the shore right below. We felt like we were at our own private resort the seclusion and privacy was so complete. The personal tour of the property upon arrival is a nice touch that makes you feel more comfortable with all the home has to offer, and it has A LOT! From how to operate the TV's to all the light switches, how to operate the jacuzzis or where all the pool toys are kept, it was nice having someone who knows the property walk us through it. It was the perfect place to celebrate!"

  • Fall asleep to sounds of the ocean

"Beautifully maintained home on the north shore of Kauai. Very large great room that offered plenty of space for 6 adults to spend our days/nights in. Great sliding glass doors and windows that allowed us to let the smells and sounds of the ocean into the house. We were there during the winter and a winter storm hit the island, so the ocean on the north shore in front of the house was a bit too wild to swim in, but was gorgeous to look at and listen to. Very quiet neighborhood. House was exactly as described. We really appreciated all the beach gear (towels, chairs, snorkel set, boogie boards, etc). We would recommend this property to all and hope to return someday!"

  • Mountain sunset paradise

"We were so glad to have stayed at Bruce and Susan's beautiful guesthouse in the green mountains yet just 10 minutes away from pristine and secluded beaches. The wraparound veranda is perfect for watching the incredible sunsets, and you have everything you need for cooking and relaxing. The beach chairs, towels and snorkel gear were a big plus. Hanalei and Kilauea are a short drive away, and Kilauea has a super farmers market. The bed was great and so quiet there for sleeping. Thanks to our hosts for making our stay so special. Truly a paradise. Until we meet again. Ahui ho!"
