Wow! Model Home!
"My wife and I spent five days in this remarkable and wonderful Sealodge condo unit. The unit is located at the same level as the parking lot, which is reached through a bridge walkway with several steps. The first impression on entering was very pleasing to the eyes and it was furnished like a model home, everything looked new and sparkling clean. Even though it seemed to be small, it was well planned and designed. The other surprise was the welcome package with an assortment of cookies, bottled water, and above all, the canvas shopping bag and a foldable, personal cooler. The view in lawn overlooking the ocean was breathtaking. We spent the next morning taking sunrise photography in the park bench on the right. This is located on a hill to the right and invisible from the bench on the left, where there is a steep path to the beach, where some reviews say is a good place for snorkeling. I would like to commend and applaud the staff at Kauai Vacations Rentals for their constant communication and caring before, during and after our stay."

"If you love Kauai and the north end, you'll love this place. If it's your first visit, you'll want to return again. Perfect unit for a couple. A small, very private unit that is nicely furnished, including a variety of beach chairs, an umbrella and some snorkel gear. The listing photos are a true representation of the unit and the views. It is perched on a hill with an outstanding view of the ocean and gorgeous sunsets. We spent hours on the lanai enjoying the ocean and watching the seabirds glide by. We expected shearwaters and nenes, but were surprised to see frigate birds and white tropic birds. We could hear the sound of the waves lying in bed or sitting on the couch. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking. There were even some CDs with Hawaiian music. The bed was very comfortable. It was a very pleasant place to return to at the end of a day of touring. And Hanalei, our favorite town, is just a few minutes down the hill. We did the luau at Tahiti Nui - highly recommend it for value, authenticity and great atmosphere. Also recommend the Dolphin Cafe - creative sushi rolls, great bar, fresh fish. Sunset time at the Hanalei pier is a fun blend of locals and visitors..rewarded with a beautiful Bali Hai like sunset, Stay for the afterglow. Be aware - from the parking lot there is an uphill path and then a half flight of exterior stairs going down to the door of the unit."

"We really liked this little cottage. Wrap around porches on three sides and one side is screened in from the bugs. It has lovely french doors all around. No air conditioning but the fans really make it pleasant. It is a few minute walk to the beach so it is very convenient. The beach is very quiet and calm. The waves break way out so it's not dangerous. We loved the outdoor shower, used it every day.
The sheets and towels could use some updating and the mattress upstairs has a metal spring sticking out of it that scratched me every time I got in and out of bed. The boogie boards were all broken and could use replacing. The neighbors behind the house were pretty creepy looking and they let their dog bark at all hours. That was a bit worrisome and annoying. All in all I probably would rent this house again even though there were a few issues."

"My wife and I have visited Kauai for 20 years and wanted to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary with a more unique experience. Our expectations were high, but Mia Huna far exceeded them. The appointments of the home are first class and complete. You want for nothing. Whether sitting on the pool deck, in one of the two jacuzzis, the lanai, or in the house, the views are breathtaking and serene. Fall asleep each night to the waves crashing on the shore right below. We felt like we were at our own private resort the seclusion and privacy was so complete. The personal tour of the property upon arrival is a nice touch that makes you feel more comfortable with all the home has to offer, and it has A LOT! From how to operate the TV's to all the light switches, how to operate the jacuzzis or where all the pool toys are kept, it was nice having someone who knows the property walk us through it. It was the perfect place to celebrate!"
