Best Vacation Home on the Island!
"We stayed at Makale’a Palms in 2013 and loved it so much that we decided to return this year! Makale’a Palms is by far the most beautiful and peaceful place we have ever stayed. I truly struggle to find the words to express just how much we love it!! Shawn and Doreen literally thought of every detail when they designed this home. We were greeted with an amazing welcome basket, card and beautiful fresh flowers upon our arrival. The bags of nuts from Kauai Nut Roasters were delicious! Some of the things we really enjoy about the house are eating breakfast out on the lanai, relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day, the fully stocked kitchen, listening to Jack Johnson on the surround sound stereo, the comfort of the beds, the openness of the house and the breeze that comes through, the awesome steam shower and the privacy of the property. We also really appreciate all the beach gear they provide such as chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear, coolers and towels. We love the location of the property. It’s close to all of our favorite beaches and restaurants. I could go on and on about how wonderful Makale’a Palms is, but you have to see it in person to truly appreciate its beauty. We look forward to going back next year!!"

"This was our second time at this wonderful home on Annini Beach and we loved it just as much as ever! We thoroughly enjoyed being right across from the beautiful water, every morning I paddle boarded out a ways and watched as sea turtles surfaced to greet me! The snorkeling was fabulous and the water was warm and inviting! The home has a wonderful front deck that we used constantly as well as the lower ground level floor to store all our beach stuff safely and conveniently! The only negative was on the weekends the beach gets quite crowded with overnite campers that set up camp right on the beach in front of the house, but during the week it was much less busy. We would not let this deter us from the otherwise perfect vacation spot on Kauai! We hope to spend many more days and nights enjoying this fabulous beach home!"

"Stayed at Puamana for a 10 day vacation with my girlfriend. Very nice and quiet location. Felt very private as it is the end unit in a row and nothing but beautiful plants when looking out every window and private lanais surrounded by tropical plants. Condo looks exactly as it appears in the pictures, is very spacious, and very tastefully decorated in every room. Extremely clean and well kept. Kitchen is well stocked with just about everything you need including things like blenders/mixers/coffee machines/etc. Also there is a very nice clean Weber BBQ we used a few of the nights. All the basics were included (unused) when we arrived like Shampoos/soaps/dishwashing detergents/and even laundry detergent in starter sizes. Plenty of towels for bath and the beach. The owners and management clearly want to make sure everything is provided when you arrive and things like beach coolers/chairs/bodyboards/etc are all available too. Felt like I was at my second home in paradise. Location is perfect for taking walks as there are miles of walking trails all around (including 2 golf courses) and access to the beach is about a 10 minute walk down a fairly steep hill. The princeville shopping center is a 2min drive or a very nice 10-15min walk. The Westin is a 2 min walk up the street and St Regis is about 1 mile up the road if you feel like going out to a ritzy restaurant/bar. Hanalei bay is also very close, maybe a 10min drive and I recommend going to the Hanalei farmers market on saturdays for unbelievable fruits and produce. The north shore is by far the most beautiful area on the island which the best beaches (tunnels being my favorite) and this unit is right where you want to be. I'm looking forward to staying here on our next visit to Kauai. Thank you for making our stay as stress free and MORE comfortable than I imagined!!"

"This little bungalow was absolutely perfect for my wife and as we celebrated our honeymoon on Kauai. Its just a short walk from a beach as well as a couple miles from Queensbath. I do not believe you can ever get sick of this island and there is so much to do!"
