  • A DIFFERENT KIND OF REVIEW

"My SO and I are both professionals with AA personalities. We were looking for a place to relax and breathe. This is such a place. This is a gated property on a secluded lake. There is much to do on the island and Steve will give you directions and advice if you so choose. For us the property was enough. I am a fly fisherman and spent a significant amount of time catching and releasing peacock bass, large mouth bass and freshwater tilapia. I was looking for Hawaii without crowds of tourists. I found it. If you want to do the usual tourist things they are there. If not, just drive through the gate and you are on a large property by yourselves. Ducks and a swan will happily join you (especially if you offer them bread)The house is very well appointed, the pictures on this web site give an accurate representation. If anything the reality of the property is better. There are multiple reviews of this property on multiple sites. They almost all say the same thing. This is a great place to use as a home base or a hide away. You have a great opportunity to do whatever you see as an ideal Hawaiian vacation. You can find lots to do with lots of people or just spend time with one. For me finding a place to do the later is more difficult. This is that place."

  • Celecation in Kauai

"Simply amazing! Our stay in Kauai was the highlight of our relationship! The peaceful setting and warm hospitality was overwhelming. Suzy and Stan were extremely helpful in guiding our journey to the most breathtaking scenery and eating establishments. Their hale provided us with great accommodations and the location was very centralized to the North and South Shores of the island. Would definitely visit again!"

  • Beautiful Low-Key Hideaway Surrounded By Greenery

"We stayed at Hale Kokio for five days of our honeymoon, and we wish we had stayed there the whole time. It's wonderfully secluded, but within an easy drive of all the overwhelmingly beautiful north shore sites. It might be hard to tell from the pictures, but the yard is pretty big and surrounded by vegetation, so it's very private. We enjoyed nightly dips in the hot tub, cooking meals while listening to cd's in the house collection, and wandering around the yard to admire the banana, grapefruit, and lychee trees as well as the most beautiful flowers all over the yard. The house had everything we needed – great kitchen and cooking ware, plenty of towels, even beach stuff like snorkels and a body board. This was a perfect place to escape from distractions and really slow down to spend some intimate time together as a couple. If we ever return to Kauai, it'll be hard not to come right back to Hale Kokio."

  • Tropical Paradise + Amazing Houses + Helpful People = BEST FAMILY VACATION EVER!

"I can't say enough good things about JungleBee. If I could pick one place to go again for vacation, there would not be a close second. The moment we arrived we knew this was going to be a great 10 days. The house and grounds were immaculate. The house was well appointed with all the things we needed to enjoy our stay. Our 3 kids loved running around and exploring the property: Picking fruit, feeding the chickens and goats, and gathering eggs in the morning. The privacy and views from the property are unmatched. Even though private, we were no more than 5 minutes from restaurants, farmers markets and stores and 10-20 minutes from the best beaches. The path down to Secret Beach was beautiful and fun to explore but it is a pretty decent walk and due to the unprotected surf we chose to go to other beaches to swim and snorkel. This does not however take away from how beautiful Secret Beach is. The most unexpected and helpful part of the trip was the information/help/insight we received from Jimmy and the crew at Junglebee. While on the property (they were finishing up the guest house) it was never intrusive and they always wanted to make sure we had our privacy. Yet, they were available at a moment's notice if needed. They gave us great local insight to farmer's markets, beaches we would have never found (Rock Quarry), great restaurant recommendations, and a lesson on the plants/fruits growing on the property (including what to feed the goats). I hope one day we can be lucky enough to go back to Junglebee as a family. My kids talk about it still and we cherish the memories we had there. Thank you!"

Kilauea Travel Tips

Kilauea Vacation Rentals Are Perfect for Explorers

The Hawaiian island of Kauai is an explorer’s paradise. If you an independent traveler seeking adventure, opt for Kilauea vacation rentals. A Kauai lodging choice available direct from the owner is a perfect base to explore this incredible vacation destination. These North Shore vacation rentals put you right where you need to be for all that the island of Kauai has to offer.

Kilauea Vacation Rentals in the “Guava Capital of the World”

The area of Kilauea is situated on the north coast of Kauai; travelers should be aware that there is a Kilauea on the Big Island of Hawaii also. Take care not to confuse the two destinations! This one is renowned for its guava plantations and active volcanoes. North Shore vacation rentals are in an area of The Garden Isle, also dubbed the “Guava Capital of the World.” Its high rainfall and sunshine produces lush surroundings where visitors find an ideal year-round destination. Many visitors to Kilauea vacation rentals come here to visit the volcanoes, some of which are still active. Near your Kauai lodging choice is Kilauea Point where the Kilauea Lighthouse stands.

North Shore Vacation Rentals Have Beaches for Everyone

Visitors to Kilauea vacation rentals find exceptional beaches, each with their own character. Lumahai Beach is a particular favorite for those seeking a quiet day of sunbathing and swimming. Further along the coast is Po’ipu and Kee Beach, noted for some great snorkeling. When you stay in a Kauai lodging option, you can spend many hours at Lydgate State Park hunting through the lava rock pools. North Shore vacation rentals are perfect for those seeking sandy beaches with as much, or as little, activity as desired.

Kauai Lodging Allows You to Visit the Land that Time Forgot

For stunning scenery, visitors to Kauai lodging visit Napali Coast State Park. This natural wonder is a place where time has stood still. The few inhabitants here live very much the way they have for centuries. North Shore vacation rentals are set in some of the most beautiful landscape imaginable, with the area's mountains and cliff areas seemingly rising directly from the ocean. Visitors to Kilauea vacation rentals find delightful holidays where they can hunt waterfalls, visit beaches and do so much more.
