"We arrived the Hunts' home depleted from a very heavy year of work. From the moment we arrived we were able to relax and unwind. The home was very comfortable and beautifully appointed. The expansive grounds were a delight to look out at, dine in, and explore through each day. Such a treat to pick fresh fruit as we went! Steve was most gracious and attentive and completely available for guidance as we desired. We were looking for a place to relax, that would facilitate family time, and which was removed from standard tourist fare. We got just that and then also were able to take advantage of all the great restaurants and beaches in the near vicinity at our own pace. A truly fantastic experience!"

"My wife and I just spent two weeks at Aloha Sunrise Cottage discovering beautiful Kaua'i at the end of Summer while reconnecting with nature, and even more importantly, ourselves.
Allan and Catherine are model hosts and the cottage is quiet and clean. The grounds are peaceful and beautiful, and we especially appreciated the fresh produce from the garden, avocados, grapefruit, limes and papaya as good as we've ever had. And as other reviewers here have mentioned, the pets are equally loving and hospitable!
The location is perfect for all of North Shore and East Coast, but Waimea and Koke'e Park and their impressive sights and activities are well within a day's trip, finishing with memorable sunset appetizers at Beach House in Po'ipu on the return trip.
Our major concern was not to spoil Kaua'i's magic with a commercial condo experience. At Aloha Sunrise Cottage, we achieved this magnificently! We would return without hesitation."

The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was very clean.
I was very happy with the location.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
We had a wonderful time at this house. The view is incredible. The property description was accurate, except that the 'trail' in the back is overgrown and impenetrable. We arrived late so we were happy to see that Eric had turned on lights and fans before our arrival. The screens could be improved as bugs got in even though we were extremely careful about closing doors."

"We chose this property as the first stop on our honeymoon, because it looked like it would be a wonderful place to relax, and we were right! We arrived at Lihue airport at about 9pm, but it was easy to drive to and find the cottage at night. We enjoyed reading on the lanai and cooking breakfast and dinner at the cottage. It was fun to visit with Milk, the goat, and to watch the beautiful chickens and peacocks.
North Kauai turned out to be one of the prettiest stops on our trip. We loved hiking part of the Kalalau trail, relaxing on Ke'e beach, kayaking the Hanalei river and bay, and hanging out on Moloa'a bay.
Susan was a wonderful host. Attentive, responsive, and accommodating."
