"Staying here felt so much more luxurious than in a hotel! The grounds are beautiful (giant!), and the fruit in season was absolutely delicious! (we had lemons, grapefruit, and oranges picked fresh) The outdoor kitchen had everything we needed for preparing and eating simple meals (hot plate, toaster oven, gas bbq microwave, fridge, and much more) for my husband and myself. Indoors was a beautiful bathroom, spacious closet with small safe, and king size bed. The location is great for North Shore all the way to Lihue activities, and we didn't mind the drive to the west shore by planning it as a full day activity. We certainly enjoyed our 5 night stay!"

"My wife & I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this cottage. The kitchen is grand with all the utensils need and a nice BBQ. The bedroom is bright and airy. Catharine & Allan are wonderful to chat with about local things to do. We hope to go back someday soon!"

"My husband and I were married here in March 2015. This place is stunning and the pictures do not do it justice. It is extremely private with stunning views and very romantic. We would recommend this cottage and hope to return some day. We highly recommend a helicopter tour with Sunshine Helicopters and be sure to visit Kauai Nut Roasters."

“The single most amazing vacation rental I have ever stayed at.”
"My family and I had the privilege of staying at this property in Feb 2015. There were six of us – my wife, myself, and our four children, age 8 to 16.
There are so many amazing things about this property I really don’t know where to start. First is the location. The five acres make you feel pretty much like you have all of Kauai to yourself, and yet, just a few hundred yards away you are on the road and near whatever you may want to be near to.
The photos of the grounds and the house are certainly not “cherry picked” photos – the whole place is just wonderful beyond words. In spite of their lavish description of the property, they actually under-sell it. The house is fab-u-lous. Just absolutely amazing. It has pretty much everything you could possibly want. I think my favorite part was all the stuff in the garage. Bikes. Snorkeling gear. Pool toys. Tons of stuff. Just tons of it. All neatly arranged and organized.
No wait, I think my favorite part was the upstairs kitchen. Every appliance, every utensil, many of the basics. Just everything, all neatly arranged.
Actually, hold on… my favorite part is the outside. Exercise equipment (tons!), the pool, the hot tub. The koi pond. The fruit trees. The … Well you get the idea.
Oh, even the Internet was fast! I know… we were supposed to be on vacation… Fast Internet at these places never happens.
I know reading a pile of gushing reviews always causes one to say, “Come on – there has to be something wrong with the place…” so I have been trying to come up with something to balance out the overall wonderfulness of the place. Hmmmm. That is hard. I know: Perhaps it would be better if they had big sacks of hundred dollar bills in each room as a welcoming present… Hmmm. Yeah, that is about the best I can do.
My wife has dietary issues, so we always stay in homes on vacations. We’ve stayed at some pretty nice places. Some really nice places, actually. But nothing, and I mean nothing, comes close to this Ke Aloha. It is a masterpiece."
