  • Please adopt us, Susie, we want to come back home.

"Our wonderful adventure took place the end of July, 2014. Four of us ladies, little girls at heart, discovered this sanctuary and so began the best vacation ever! With a little planning, we kept groceries sufficient in our sand castle for the amount of cooking we were willing to do. We ended up eating out only a few times, saving money for our treasures and keepsakes. The nearby gardens were lovely, the beaches were clean and beautiful, the flora was luscious. The outside shower should NOT be overlooked! In the heat of the day, the back of the house was quite warm; the downstairs shower was a luxury! Our beds were so comfortable we slept long and well. The morning and evening breezes prompted long and happy visits...the television soon stayed completely off. Views from the lanai inspired an artistic revival and watercolors soon flowed like the waves on the shore. We enjoyed the beach here and some days did not venture from this location. Oh, to hear the constant rhythm of the surf and the gentle percussion of the rain lulling us to sleep and calling to us again each new day! Thank you, Susie, for allowing us this visit with you."

  • Stunning view!

"Here it's all about the view: while some of the other Moloa'a Bay properties may be ocean front, not many can say that you can see nothing but the ocean out the front windows while sitting on the (very comfortable) couch! And being able to listen to the waves the entire time was very relaxing. The rooftop deck is also amazing. We loved to go up at night and watch the stars and the moon (who knew that there were really that many stars?). Moloa'a Bay is a very beautiful beach that is off the beaten path. It never felt too crowded, but because parking spaces are limited some visitors have to park a bit away and walk down to the beach. Not us! It was so nice to drive by all those cars and not have to worry about where we were going to park since we had our own dedicated space under the house. And the beach is RIGHT THERE. No having to schlep all our equipment down the road to the beach access... just out the front entryway and there you are at the sand. We had the good fortune to spend our last 5 nights on Kauai in the two bedroom suite side. It was very comfortable and had everything that we needed while there. One word of warning: it was VERY hard to want to leave to do anything. I was glad that we had done the majority of our "big" day trips earlier in the vacation, because when we came here it was so beautiful all we wanted to do was go out to the beach, relax on the couch, or spend time on the rooftop deck. This is an amazing place and I feel very blessed that the owners share it with us. Can't wait to come back!"

  • Just far enough off the beaten path!

"My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon in December. We had the most wonderful time. It is so private and though it isn't right on the beach, you can hear the waves crashing at night. The beach is just superb, quiet and secluded we rarely saw other people. The cottage is in a great location, close enough to enjoy everything on the island, yet far enough away to be private and quiet. I would recommend a 4WD vehicle especially if visiting in December as it is the rainy season. Make friends with the geckos....you share the cottage with them!! :)"

  • Quiet, Quaint, and Just Almost Perfect

"Overall this place was great and Judith was very kind and accommodating. We were able to cook breakfast with no problems, and aside from a couple of cobwebs up in the exposed rafters, the place was clean and well stocked. The only thing that keeps me from giving it an excellent rating is the fact that there is a house being built next door, and so the couple of times we were there during the day we had very unanticipated construction noises mixed with the crashing of the waves. While I absolutely understand noises from neighboring properties are entirely out of the owners' control, I feel like a heads up would have been appropriate. For us it wasn't a huge deal, just a little irritating the couple of times we were there during the day, but if we had planned to just lounge about and take afternoon naps, it would have been more of a problem. Aside from that it really was wonderful, the beach is only a few minutes walk, and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean is something I miss already. Judith was very sweet, and greeted us with a smile, gave us a quick "orientation" so we would know where everything was, and then provided complete privacy. When my wife and I are able to return to Kauai for another getaway, we will definitely try to stay with Judith again!"

Moloaa Bay Travel Tips

If you've ever dreamed of golden beaches, amazing sunsets, and a tropical paradise, then Moloaa Bay vacation rentals have what you want. From Mediterranean-style homes to oceanfront properties, vacation rentals in Moloaa Bay have a style to match your dreams.

Enjoy Surf, Sand, and Sun at Moloaa Bay Beach Rentals

When you stay at Moloaa Bay beach rentals, you can often find vacation rentals offering ocean and mountain views. Enjoy sunbathing on the beach or from your private lanai. If you prefer water activities to soaking up rays, grab a kayak and explore the crescent-shaped bay. The water is populated with dolphins, sea turtles, and whales, so be sure to pack your waterproof camera. Underwater exploration through diving and snorkeling brings you closer to the island's aquatic life.

Get More When You Plan Your Kauai Travel

Kauai travel gives you a chance to relax in a secluded destination surrounded by tropical vegetation, but it also offers more. With a vacation rental in Kauai, you can get away from crowded resorts and small quarters. Depending on the property, you can enjoy luxury amenities. Let jet lag seep out of your body as you relax in a Jacuzzi tub. Enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine or a night cap. Unlike what you get at a hotel, vacation rentals give you more rooms and space. Forget trying to watch TV from a hotel bed. Kick your shoes off and prop up your feet in the living room, which can offer a large screen TV and a DVD player, depending on the property.
