"My husband and I had this trip planned for months, and would go online frequently to look at our unit, marvel at the view, watching the sunsets on the webcam with excited anticipation. Our first impression was when we arrived at the beautiful open air lobby, where we were met with the most welcoming and gracious staff. We were then escorted to our unit via golf cart and on arrival, our driver mentioned how lucky we were to stay in one of the nicest units in the whole complex. Needless to say, when we walked in the door, we were stopped in our tracks at the breathtaking view of Hanalei Bay and the Bali Hai. It was no less than stunning. Joan's beautiful studio condo was immaculate, comfortable, beautifully decorated and updated. We were literally in heaven for the week. Each morning we were greeted with the amazing view, enjoying coffee on the lanai, and each evening we gazed at yet another glorious sunset over a glass of wine. We found the kitchenette to be perfect for light breakfast and snacks and we also took advantage of the nearby BBQ grills several nights for dinner. Joan was wonderful, and made every effort throughout the whole process of planning our trip and during our stay to ensure that we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The staff at Hanalei Bay resort were also very kind and helpful, making sure all our needs were met. We enjoyed walking the paths to the beach and around the complex, and for those who want assistance, they are great about providing complimentary golf cart rides. We were so sad to leave, and have already put down our deposit to stay here again next year. We have found our perfect Hawaiian paradise!"

"This is the 4th time we’ve stayed in this unit, owned by the Chuck and Steph Ashton. We were very excited to see the complete renovations they’ve done. Everything is brand new from the new tile floors, the bathroom fixtures and a new improved bar area that includes a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. They’ve even added blackout curtains if you need a nap from all the mornings activities. You can see the personal touch they added to the make certain their guests have a wonderful experience. What has not changed is the view. Spectacular! The pool and grounds were in beautiful shape and the Makai golf course is not to be missed with its sea-grass greens that are so tight you think they are artificial and you need to try their golf boards and surf the golf course for a really unique way to experience a round of golf.
If you want a treat, ask at the front desk for the locations of the pictures Chuck Ashton has taken and the Resort has posted. Also, ask Chuck for his website for things to do and see while on the island.
The unit, the resort and the golf course, are all 5 stars with no reservations."

"We contacted Lisa on short notice after she had a cancellation and she immediately responded. Within minutes we had the rental setup She is very friendly and great to work with. Her Unit is as advertised. The Lanai commands a beautiful view. We had coffee every morning and a glass of wine in the evenings relaxing on the Lanai and marveling at the beauty of Kauai. The unit looks brand new with a very clean and contemporary feel. Would definitely book again and recommend to friends."

Great accomodation for the North side of the island
"This was our first trip to Hawaii and we had a wonderful time. My husband, our two year old son and myself stayed on the North shore for 4 nights, the South shore for 7 nights, and Waikiki for 3 nights. I highly reccommend staying on the North side of the island as it is so beautiful and we wish we could have stayed longer! David was extremely accomodating, responsive and helpful. The condo is clean and very spacious, with everything you could need for a good holiday including kids beach toys, tennis balls, a beach umbrella and beach chairs in the cupboard. Comfortable beds. No lounge as such as the bedrooms are sort of like individual studio apartments so would suit couples travelling together/families with older kids/anyone wanting a bit of privacy between the 2 bedrooms very well, and they were large enough for our toddler to run around in quite happily. There is a table and chairs in the rooms for you to sit and watch tv. The balcony in the master bedroom overlooks the pool and the mountains which makes for a beautiful peaceful outlook, and its quite private as its not overlooked by other balconies. The resort is very attractive and is in a good location - a close drive to everything on the North shore and also a short walk down to the pretty beach shared with the St Regis resort. Even though the room is near the pool is was not noisy/intrusive at all, and was very handy being able to walk there and to the tennis courts very easily. I would definitely reccommend this condo to anyone, except those with mobility issues as it's on the 3rd floor and there's no lift."
