"This condo was great, my husband and I were extremely pleased with the location, set up of the room and the view! Pictures do no justice. We stayed in studio #1105 which was probably the most conveniently located condo on the property, although at floor level you still get a beautiful view of the greenery, trees and mountains it's steps away from the parking lot so you don't have to lug all your stuff around the property and it's right around the corner from the pools and lobby. Also, another great thing about the location is that because it's right next to the parking lot you can easily come and go from the area, it takes a good 5 minutes to get to the main road to get to the grocery store. We absolutely loved having breakfast out on the patio and watching the view every morning. Also, the document that John sends with all the tips/advice on things to do in the area were great as well. John was a pleasure to rent from, he was very responsive. Don't be worried about the Murphy bed either, it's actually very comfortable. I have already recommended this place to everyone I have spoken to."

"This condo is a must! The pictures of the view don't even give it justice. Imagine waking up to the beautiful view of Hanalei Bay and the North Shore coastline every single morning. Sounds amazing right?... well you don't need to imagine it if you rent this condo! Seriously, best view for best price at the best location on Kauai! Do it, you'll love it! Beach is about a 6-10 minute walk and the resort is well maintained. It was perfect. I'm a guy and appreciated the overall beauty of this condo (newly renovated bathroom, air conditioning, and comfort) and the view, so you would probably too :)
Another perk to renting this property is dealing with Joan. She is so friendly, quick to respond and an overall joy to deal with. She sent so much information and helped us with the do's and dont's on the island. Her and her home are gems!
We highly recommend!
Thank you Joan for everything!"

"I just returned from a wonderful stay here with my parents. This trip marked 30 years of visiting Kauai for them and even after all that time they discovered a new part of the island in Princeville. This unit has a convenient location to parking (a great advantage with the layout of the resort!) and high ceilings gave a feeling of more openness. It is stocked with everything you could think to need for beach adventures from chairs to coolers to beach mats. I also saw sand toys and floats for people with keiki (children). The kitchenette was perfect for our family of three adults and we loved having two high-powered microwaves available. The view from the lanai was great, looking over one of the best pools on the island to the waterfalls across Hanalei bay.
The resort itself has many wonderful amenities. There are two pools, the larger one is closer to this unit and has a nearby spa/jaccuzi. There are bellmen available to assist with moving bags at check-in if needed and to give rides down to the beach. We liked having the hospitality room open to print our boarding passes for our return flights too. I will definitely be recommending this location and this unit to friends and family in the future!
Thank you David for your quick responses and willingness to work with us, it really enhanced our stay on Kauai."

"My husband and I just spent 8 days in this wonderful apartment, and enjoyed every minute! We are in love with Kauai, especially the north shore area around Princeville and Hanalei. This apartment is part of the Hanalei Bay Resort, which was the perfect spot for us to explore the area. There's a path down to the small beach shared with the St Regis. It never got crowded, and it was easy to find a semi-private spot in the shade under the trees that line the beach. After one afternoon of very heavy rains, the water turned murky and brown from all the rivers running into Hanalei Bay, but all other days, the water was perfectly clear. The resort was really nice, although we never spent time at the pool, and the restaurant and bar were closed for renovations. People looking for party should probably look elsewhere, but the resort is perfect for nearly everyone else. It is quite hilly, but there's a shuttle service you can call to take you to and from the lobby or parking lot. They will even pick you up at the bottom of the hill if you're coming up from the beach.
The apartment was nicely sized for the two of us, with a separate bedroom and a large air-conditioned living room. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the lanai has a fantastic view over the bay and the mountains on the other side. I'm so in love with this island, and for our next trip I will look up this place again. Joyce even sent a multi-page document with recommendations of things to do and see, and where to eat. Thanks!!"
