  • Family friendly Heaven

"The view is not the only absolutely perfect thing about this 3 bedroom Princeville vacation rental. It is close by, but far enough away from the stunning resort pool, the almost private beach, tennis courts and car park to make it very convenient and private. The island style furniture was very comfortable, the beds especially, and we all slept wonderfully. The care and efforts of the owner, rental company and especially the resort to look after us even checking back on us after our arrival was appreciated. The resort was very accommodating and not once did we feel like we were treated any differently to their other guests, as has been our experience in VRBO rentals in the past. This condo is spacious, clean and well stocked, we had everything we needed for our big family of 9. The resort was still undergoing pretty dramatic renovations (Jun/Jul 14) but these were only really obvious to us when sitting by the pool, which we did only a few times as the beach was so close. I would be back tomorrow if I could and can recommend wholeheartedly this vacation rental for big family's & family's with older children especially."

  • Beautiful and relaxing

"This condo is absolutely beautiful! I highly recommend staying here. The views are incredible as is the resort. You will not be disappointed. We stayed for 6 days with my family of three girls and brought our babysitter. The condo is spacious and comfortable. Our sitter stayed in her own unit, which is attached, via a door. She had her own bathroom, lanai, and entry. The condo was recently remodeled and looks fantastic. The beds are comfortable. The master bedroom has a Tempur Pedic mattress and a gorgeous view. My two older daughters loved sleeping in the loft, which they accessed via a cool spiral staircase. Kristin at Aloha condos was kind enough to arrange for a pack n’ play for our youngest daughter and a high chair to be delivered. The condo is well stocked and we even found sand toys, snorkeling gear, boogie boards, beach chairs, tennis rackets, tennis balls, and many different sized coolers in the closet. This was great for taking on hikes and to the beach. Hanalei Bay Resorts has a beautiful pool and outdoor hot tub. My kids loved it! The pool is on the colder side but this did not stop us from jumping in. The staff at the resort is very helpful and friendly. Check the resort activity calendar when you check in as they have activities for kids and adults at the resort or nearby in Princeville, like lei making, hula classes, yoga, and scuba diving lessons. The beach is a five minute walk—very accessible and the path is right next to this condo. Hanalei is a quick 10 minute drive. There are jogging and walking paths around the different resorts. Princeville town center is right near the resort with a grocery store. You can also walk to dinner or a bar at one of the nearby resort/hotels. I agree that it will be nice when the Hanalei Bay restaurant is finished. We will definitely come back here!"

  • As Good As It Gets

"We just returned from our trip to Kauai and staying at this condo was even better then the pictures and reviews explain! All the positive ratings/reviews are 100% true and more so. Words can't describe the view from not only the top of the resort but also the lanai of this unit. Out of this world! The owner was just amazing with ideas on what to do as well. The unit had tennis racquets, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, and beach chairs. The resort was just great.... The staff was wonderful and the beach was great for snorkeling.....we even saw a green sea turtle eating algae two feet away from us while we were out snorkeling. Waking up each day of our vacation and walking out with my coffee on the lanai to that view was just amazing.... I can't forget falling asleep to the sounds of the waves crashing onto the reef. This unit and the owners are great and I highly recommend staying here....we will be back very soon. Matthew Skinner"

  • Perfect Affordable Honeymoon Spot

"My brand new husband and I spent a wonderful 6 nights in Lisa's studio! Lisa was so helpful as soon as we inquired about the property. She has a great personal website about her properties. After booking, she sent us all the information we would need to stay at Hanalei Bay Resort and enjoy ourselves in the Princeville/Hanalei Bay area (including a personal restaurant guide and reviews!). The studio was perfect for the two of us. Enough space for several days so that we didn't feel cramped. The most amazing part is the view from the lanai. The pictures of the view are true! We loved being able to watch the sunset without leaving our condo. Lisa provides everything you would need from beach towels to coolers (if you want to pack your own lunch as we did most days). There were enough dishes so that we could eat breakfast there too. We loved the resort; although, the restaurant is still not finished. The pool is very nice...especially in the evenings. The studio is a little of a walk from the parking lot, but the only bad part about that is the uphill walk to your car. Otherwise, the resort is so pretty that you don't mind walking around, plus, the porters are always available if you don't want to lug your stuff around. If you're planning to stay for a few days, plan to need to wash the towels provided as it does stay damp in the studio (understandably with the tropical, humid air) and the towels don't dry that well hanging up. The nice thing is that the washer/dryer are just across the way. Lisa also provides guidebooks (I suggest The Ultimate Kauai Guidebook). We had already purchased one before coming and it was our bible while we were on Kauai. There is definitely no resort noise on the end of the resort where the property is located. If there is someone staying at Lisa's adjoining property, you will hear them, but it's not too bad. Overall, we loved our time at Lisa's condo/studio and would recommend it to those looking for a quiet getaway spot!"
