Unit was fantastic! Resort could be fantastic...hopefully someday soon.
"We just returned from 10 days in Kauai, and we could not have asked for a better unit to stay in. I can't explain how awesome it was waking up every morning to the view of the bay and mountains. The unit was good sized, and had everything we needed. I especially liked having a washer/dryer, and a closet full of beach gear. The pool was refreshing and gorgeous, and never crowded. The grounds were lush and beautifully landscaped with every kind of tropical plant and flower you could imagine. Working with Dave was easy and seamless, and I felt comfortable with all of our communications and transactions.
Our one complaint is that there was construction going on right outside of our unit (on the restaurant/lounge), and it would get really loud at times. One day they were cutting concrete with a big concrete saw, and it was too loud for us to even be in our unit on that day. We would probably hesitate to go back until we were sure that the construction was completed. (From what we understand, the rebuilding of the restaurant has taken several years). There is also a swim up bar being built at the pool, but we never saw anyone working on it. When these projects are completed, one would be hard pressed to find a more beautiful resort in a more beautiful setting. we just hope it's sooner than later."

"The unit is has an amazing view and very comfortable and beautifully furnished, with nice deck for dining outside and enjoying sunset. The upstairs loft was perfect for our boys. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need for our stay. It was a short walk down to the beach which was great for our 8 year old boys to snorkel in. We would definitely come back here and also recommend to friends and family!"

"This condo was great, my husband and I were extremely pleased with the location, set up of the room and the view! Pictures do no justice. We stayed in studio #1105 which was probably the most conveniently located condo on the property, although at floor level you still get a beautiful view of the greenery, trees and mountains it's steps away from the parking lot so you don't have to lug all your stuff around the property and it's right around the corner from the pools and lobby. Also, another great thing about the location is that because it's right next to the parking lot you can easily come and go from the area, it takes a good 5 minutes to get to the main road to get to the grocery store. We absolutely loved having breakfast out on the patio and watching the view every morning. Also, the document that John sends with all the tips/advice on things to do in the area were great as well. John was a pleasure to rent from, he was very responsive. Don't be worried about the Murphy bed either, it's actually very comfortable. I have already recommended this place to everyone I have spoken to."

"Once we opened the door to this condo we couldn't believe the view!!! It was stunning! That was the best seller for sure. The condo was equipped with, a small but full kitchen, which was great to make breakfasts in the morning. This was great way to save $, and to eat on the lanai with that great view!
Each morning we were greeted with some NeNe (Hawaii's state bird) They were so cute! This prompted me to look up everything I could on the internet to find out more about them during my stay. lol. The bathroom was huge and had a Jacuzzi tub. Tons of towels, and in the closet a boogie board and an umbrella to take to the beach. We also made use of the washer and dryer in the condo since we were in Hawaii for 10 days, and ran out of underwear!
The resort was great too. The only draw back was that the restaurant was under renovation, and if you wanted a quick bite it was a small drive away. They supply you with beach towels at the front desk when you check in. There is fresh coffee out in the lobby everyday at 7 am.
We picked up breakfast food and snacks at the local grocery store in Princeville. I didn't realize it until 2 days later that there was a rewards card on the key chain to the room key that would have been helpful in getting a store discount, since the items were a bit pricey. The clerk did ask me my phone number for a discount, which I thought was strange since I wasn't from there, but it took 30 bucks off the bill!
I would definitely stay there again!! Like tomorrow, no really, the view was THAT awesome!"
