  • Great property - Owners are eager to please!

"We stayed as 2 families of four over Christmas. The house is VERY nice. Sleeping accommodations are as described and plentiful. Amenities are great including bikes, beach toys, towels, etc. Hot tub is fantastic. There are ample kitchen supplies as well. We had a couple of minor problems that were out of the owners control but they did all they could to get them rectified and offered compensation for our in convenience. (the dishwasher was broken and parts had to be ordered from mainland) Fredrica is wonderful to deal with and willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay right. For the price, you'd be hard pressed to find a better deal on a nicer property in Kauai. Within walking distance to a great beach at the resort. Snorkeling is great there."

  • Are you kidding me!!!!!

"We were in need of some serious down time. The winter blues had set in and it was only January. We decided that Kauai was the place we ought to be, so we loaded up the family and headed to the north shore of that beautiful island. What a great decision this was. We were fortunate enough to find this outstanding home to stay in while we were there. It is truly the best. The location is perfect, and the house, especially the kitchen, is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. It is open and airy and extremely comfortable. The biggest decision that we had to make was what bedrooms to use as they were all outstanding. The wrap around lanai was perfect for having coffee and fresh picked tangerines (from the tree in the yard) in the mornings. In the evenings, we were out there for grilling fabulous dinners. The views are spectacular especially from the lanai. We even got used to the roosters crowing after a day or so. Actually, they added a special ambiance to the mornings. We are golfers, and the Makai course was within walking distance. What a great course. At this time of year, you can hit your ball and then go watch the whales breach. There are walking trails everywhere, and you will meet the friendliest people. The Princeville Town Center is close by for everything you need from groceries to bars and restaurants. Th quaint seaside town of Hanalei is just a couple of miles up the coast. We went there for some outstanding beachtime, shopping and some really nice drinks and local fare. We can not wait to go back and if this house is available, we would not consider staying anywhere else. If you plan to vacation on the Princeville side of Kauai, you owe it to yourself to reserve this home. It will make your Kauai vacation even better!"

  • The perfect North Shore home for a couple or a family

"My wife and I loved our stay at this beautiful home on the North Shore -- we'd definitely recommend it to friends. We've stayed at condos in Princeville before, and it was so much nicer to have the space (indoor and out) of a private home. Every part of the house is comfortable and well-maintained, from the gorgeous open living/family/dining space to the beautiful master suite (loved the giant tub!) to the big backyard with avocado and citrus trees. We love to cook, so the well-equipped kitchen was perfect. Because of the layout of the house -- master bedroom on one end, second and third bedroom on the other end with shared space in-between -- this would be a great house for a family, several couples, a group of friends, folks who need easy access (it's all on one level) or a lone couple like us. And, if you're trying to decide whether to visit the North Shore at all, do it. Kauai is our absolute favorite island and the North Shore is the very best part. Beautiful beaches, great hikes, rugged views, and a great little town (Hanalei) that still feels like authentic Hawaii. The only down side is that groceries are expensive -- swing by Costco in Lihue before you head north. We'll be back, and will definitely stay at this great home again!"
