  • Unstoppable view and a house with endless extras!

"The view, the view, the sunset, the absolutely amazing view. That would be enough to justify renting this home, but imagine endless extras that really aren't needed but make your trip so much more enjoyable - tiki torches by the hot tub, many puzzles and games, helpful guide books, plenty of footrests to use when sitting on the deck in comfy chairs, a potato masher, a juicer, professional mounting for the TV to stretch it from the wall so everyone gets a great view when watching movies, a huge movie library with current movies like American Hustle, several stero systems, an umbrella to use for rain, lots of towels and blankets - more than needed. Of course the house has a few quirks, like any home - the outdoor dining table was broken from a storm and was in the process of being replaced so we couldn't eat outside, all of the bbq grill's burners weren't working properly, some of the window vent handles were broken, etc. This is a large house and it is filled with so many wonderful toys and things that something is bound to need a bit of attention. But when you add it all up, those things can be very easily forgiven because of the endless thoughtful extras and most of all the amazing view and fantastic location. We would definitely rent this house again and highly recommend it! Did we mention the view?!?!"

  • Worth every penny!

"There is so much we loved about the property - from the moment we drove up to the house. The location was perfect. The house had every convenience imaginable. We prepared some amazing meals in that kitchen. It made it very difficult for us to leave the property to explore the island. Some of us would run the trail behind the house every morning while others would work out in the gym. We also hiked the NaPali Coast Trail which is a short drive from the house. It was difficult but well worth it. The house was perfect. Glenn was great which made it easy for us to decide to rent Ke Aloha Estate. and it did not disappoint! We have wonderful memories and our mother would have been thrilled. Thank you Glenn & Family!"

  • Beautiful Vacation Home with Plenty of Room

"Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautifully maintained home inside and out. We had 3 couples stay with plenty of room. This home is as advertised and what we expected - beautiful. It was quite warm & humid the week we stayed (10/11/14 - 10/19/14). We had 3 table fans for our previous week rental house that we brought with us and used day and night. Minor maintenance issues: Kitchen cabinet knobs, master bedroom sliding door(s), bar frig out of order. Per a neighbor, no street parking. Parking on lawn OK during daytime, not at night. We parked 3 cars in the driveway at night - 2 side by side and 1 diagonally behind those 2 - with no problem. TV & sound system directions a little confusing - never really sure which button we pushed on remotes to turn on/off TV. We highly recommend this home and would stay again."

  • The perfect North Shore home for a couple or a family

"My wife and I loved our stay at this beautiful home on the North Shore -- we'd definitely recommend it to friends. We've stayed at condos in Princeville before, and it was so much nicer to have the space (indoor and out) of a private home. Every part of the house is comfortable and well-maintained, from the gorgeous open living/family/dining space to the beautiful master suite (loved the giant tub!) to the big backyard with avocado and citrus trees. We love to cook, so the well-equipped kitchen was perfect. Because of the layout of the house -- master bedroom on one end, second and third bedroom on the other end with shared space in-between -- this would be a great house for a family, several couples, a group of friends, folks who need easy access (it's all on one level) or a lone couple like us. And, if you're trying to decide whether to visit the North Shore at all, do it. Kauai is our absolute favorite island and the North Shore is the very best part. Beautiful beaches, great hikes, rugged views, and a great little town (Hanalei) that still feels like authentic Hawaii. The only down side is that groceries are expensive -- swing by Costco in Lihue before you head north. We'll be back, and will definitely stay at this great home again!"
