"What a lovely home! The upstairs living space is awesome! We ate in most of the time- it was just too good to leave! The whole rental process was easy. The directions to the home were excellent."

  • Kauai - a majestic island with a perfect home

"Perfect is indeed the word to describe this gorgeous home. It is so roomy, that even a large group will find plenty of living rooms, dens, nooks, to hang out in. The location is excellent also. When staying in Kauai, it’s nice to be located in Princeville since there are so many fun activities, beaches, hikes, and stores nearby. The neighborhood of The House of Dreams is large and filled with beautiful homes and grounds, fun to bicycle through. Sitting on the lanai and listening to all the birds was so tranquil – a very enjoyable memory. The kitchen is a chef’s dream, large and filled with every necessity. The bedrooms were all large and comfortable. It was simply amazing to enter this lovely home, and walk from room to room, enjoying every facet of the entire house. Our group was unfamiliar with the different islands; we are so glad that we chose Kauai. It is truly the Garden State. We enjoyed sunshine each of our seven days in February. Kauai has the most striking scenery – majestic mountains and lush greenery. We would feel fortunate to stay in the House of Dreams again. Glenn is the best host, always answering every question quickly and courteously. Thank you Glenn for providing for everything a person could desire on a much needed vacation. I am so grateful and look forward to a return visit."

  • Great, great house!

"The Aloha House is a great family or small group getaway home. We've rented a number of homes around the country for week-long vacations and the Aloha House is in the top two. We are a family of six, with four kids (an 18 year old girl, a 16 year old boy, a 14 year old boy and an 11 year old girl). The main room consists of a kitchen, dining area and living space, a layout that is open, comfortable, functional and relaxing. There was always enough room for us to move around and still find private space from time-to-time. Off the main room are three bedrooms, each with a large bed and full bath. There is a large master suite above the garage and separate from the rest of the dwelling. The privacy is great. There's also wet bar in the master and there is a balcony on two sides of the room. Nearby the house is a small shopping center with a grocery store and a number of other shopping and dining options. Within the Princeville complex there are additional restaurant options and a nice bar area at the St. Regis (which seems to draw a crowd every evening to watch the sunset). There are more eating options Hanalei Bay and at Kapaa. The beach is a short walk in the neighborhood and through the Hanalei Bay Resort. The beach is shared between the Resort and the St. Regis. There are a number of bikes, wake boards, floaties, and sets of snorkel gear available at the house. We used the house as a base of vacation operations. We were out every day traveling to the various parts of the island. It was a great place to come home to after a day of hiking, relaxing on the beach, zip-lining, snorkeling or otherwise fooling around. The homeowner Tracy was easy to work with and very helpful with recommendations - she spends several weeks a year at the house and knows the area well. I highly recommend this home!"

  • Heaven on Earth

"Hale Ho'opio is an amazing place of extraordinary beauty, serenity, and comfort, providing great relaxation and sanctuary for body and soul. It is elegantly appointed with wide open spaces and stunning panoramic views of the mountains. The views from the living room, screen porch, and lanai are so jawdroppingly beautiful that you could just sit all day and be bathed in the glory of nature without even going outside. The layout is very conveniently designed, so that there is easy access to everything you need. There is plenty of ventilation from ceiling fans in almost every room and screen doors to the spacious lanai and the delightful screen porch. I have stayed here every year for the past four summers and wish I could live here year round. It is truly my home away from home. Maren is an absolute pleasure to deal with, very responsive and caring to her repeat clientele, always welcoming me back with fresh bouquets of flowers and special treats from the garden. The property manager is terrific, incredibly kind, helpful, and always willing to be of service, and the home and grounds are maintained in pristine condition. This is truly a heavenly place situated in its own private corner of paradise, the north shore of Kauai, one of the most beautiful and sacred sites in the world. The breathtaking splendor of Na Pali, Ke'e Beach, Hanalei Bay, and Anini is just literally minutes away."
