  • Beauty in Princeville

"This property was exactly as advertised. Everything was in working order, clean, neat and comfortable. There was plenty of dishware, pans, silverware, working appliances, towels and beach toys. The property pool and area was very nice and the gas grill was is good working condition. We felt privileged to rent and stay in this condo."

  • Grandma

"We stocked up at Costco in Lihue, then were very pleased when we arrived at the house. You never really know till you get there. Our group consisted of four couples, one of whom had three young children. The downstairs master worked well for their family. The four and five year olds slept happily on the floor, and the one year old slept in the pack 'n play in the roomy walk-in-closet. Each of the other couples had a bedroom, although the second upstairs bedroom has a double bed and shares the master bathroom. The upstairs master bathroom has absolutely no doors, so there is no privacy, which may be important when you are sharing the bath with another couple. But it is a very nice bathroom and plenty roomy. The location was wonderful, backing up to a gorgeous golf course. Just know that the grounds people start very early in the morning. It seemed only the upstairs master bedroom couple heard them though. The kitchen has everything you could need for cooking, and the garage has lots of beach equipment from chairs and mats to bikes to snorkeling gear. They have coolers so you can take lunch with you. There is no A/C but the house is designed with louvered windows and doors for wonderful ventilation. It did take a day or two for our little one to adjust to the humidity. Be sure to drink lots of water. The only down side was the refrigerator. It did not cool down enough so we never had ice and had to put the milk in the freezer side for it to get cold. There was a working refrigerator in the garage, but that was not very convenient. We called the manager, and he responded quickly. He was aware of the problem, so we were surprised that nothing had been said about that. A note on the counter would have been nice as we could have put the milk and frozen items in the garage fridge that first evening had we known. The manager did bring us a bag of ice, but ice trays would have worked much better. But we made do, and he said the fridge would be repaired or replaced after we left. Hopefully, that has been done. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay and very close to Hanalei Bay, which was perfect for the kids with gentle waves and a soft, sandy beach. We hiked down to Queens bath, which is very close, and the guys took the hike at the end of the road. We enjoyed a helicopter ride, the Smith Family Luau and lunch and the train ride at the Kilohana Plantation. We also took the river barge up the Wailua River to the Fern Grotto. We would rent this home again!"

  • a perfect house in Princeville

"We spent 10 days at this ideal house. It is exactly how it appears on the pictures, even better. The bedrooms are bright and airy, the beds comfortable, the bathroom/toilets complex is cleverly designed, giving privacy and making good use of the space, the outside shower adding to the options. The common space is pleasant, spacious, especially with the adjacent lanai. The kitchen has lots of cooking tools. Bring your own spices. Overall the whole place is decorated with care and taste. The 2 yards give you a chance to catch the sun or the shade at any time of day. The DVD collection is impressive. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and friendly. Food shopping is next door. Good snorkeling, beautiful beaches within easy reach. Thank you for sharing such a gem."

  • Amazing Stay in Kauai

"Would highly recommend! A group of 10 of us stayed at this beautiful home for a friend's wedding in Kauai. We had several friends visit our group over our stay there, and all of them commented, "This place is awesome!!!" The photos do not do this place justice! The location is perfect - you can walk to a private beach or drive a short distance to groceries/restaurants, minutes away from gorgeous area sights. The home is in a very safe location. The hot tub on the property is phenomenal for relaxation after a day exploring the island. The property was clean and well-maintained (not to mention - the absolutely gorgeous view from the balcony/porch areas). The owners also thought of many extra amenities (beach chairs, towels, washer/dryer, snorkel equipment, etc.) to make anyone's stay extra enjoyable. The owner's response time is awesome, and he is super helpful in answering all of the questions we had. All in all, we loved our time here and would highly recommend!"
