  • Comfortable accommodations in a Terrific Location

"If you want to stay on Kauai's North Short, Princeville is a great bet. This house is near the grocery store, a few miles from the beach at Hanalei, and in a pleasant, quiet neighborhood. There's lots to see and do nearby, but be advised (we did not figure it out until we arrived) that in the Winter, storms and surf can make many area beaches unsafe to swim, and opportunities for snorkeling and other ocean activities are limited. The house is roomy and well equipped. We especially appreciated the full compliment of beach chairs, umbrella, snorkeling equipment and the two bikes. Kitchen works well, and the view from the deck is lovely."

  • Great vacation home in a great location!

"My family rented the Aloha house to celebrate my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. The house met and exceeded, in some areas, our expectations. The house was very well situated in Princeville. The neighborhood was quiet, dark, and pretty secluded from the main touristy areas. There's a beach within walking distance that was nice, but it is kind of small. It's good for a quick dip to cool off. The neighborhood is gorgeous and full of lush tropical trees and plants, and there are friendly neighborhood pets that stop by to greet you every so often. The property has great views of the mountains and the upstairs bedroom has a small sliver of an ocean view. The extra amenities (snorkel gear, coolers, etc.) were an added bonus. The home's decor was nice and the beds were extra comfortable. There were very few downsides to the Aloha house, but there were some issues with the dishwasher not doing a thorough job cleaning the dishes and some of the window screens were ripped (which allowed the neighbor cat to sneak in from time to time). The house also does not have air conditioning, so if you NEED air conditioning, this probably isn't the house for you because it gets quite steamy during the day and late afternoon. This was a shock to us at first, but we eventually got used to the heat and humidity, and adjusted quite nicely. Overall, we really enjoyed the house and we would probably stay here again. I highly recommend considering the Aloha house as a lodging option when visiting Kauai."

  • Location, Location, Location ... A super Princeville home.

"After wrestling for weeks on where to stay on the island, we decided to stay on this property. We have absolutely no regrets! The accommodations were first class. We vacationed with three couples, and all our expectations were exceeded. The location was great just a short walk down the hill to the beach. Very relaxing evenings on the wrap around lanai. With the trade when breezes and the gorgeous views we were spoiled. Thank you so Bill & Cheri for sharing your home."

Private Homes Travel Tips

Princeville Vacation Rentals are Fit for Royalty

Princeville is an area situated on the North Shore of the island of Kauai in Hawaii. Many travelers and travel experts consider Princeville as one of the most beautiful vacation destinations in the country and possibly the world. With Waimea Canyon, Hanalei Bay and Napali, Princeville offers a variety of activities, day trips or ways to relax during your Kauai travel.

Royal Princeville Vacation Rentals

The royal treatment awaits when you rent Princeville vacation rentals. Princeville beach rentals offer Oceanside rooms, ocean views and the sounds of the tides rolling in while you sleep in your private bedroom or have a homemade meal that you've prepared in your vacation rental kitchen. Fully-equipped and furnished condominium rentals allows visitors to feel like royalty vacationing in paradise while also providing the comforts of home while you're away. Some units house washers and dryers, while others have facilities in the condominium resort, which makes doing a load of laundry convenient since you can toss it in the dryer and relax on the beach until it's time to fold.

Plenty to Do in Princeville

Golfers can play a round of golf on one of the two major golf courses in the area. According to Golf Digest, the Prince Course is "Hawaii's No.1 Golf Course." The other course is the Makai Course, which is home to three nine-hole golf courses catering to golfing abilities that range from novice to professional. If golfing is a bit too strenuous for you, you can always take in a treatment or spend a full day of pampering at the Princeville Spa, which offers an exclusive line of Kauai spa treatments including massages and facials with locally made products. Waterfalls, shopping, dining and the beach are but a few of the additional activities to take in while outside of Princeville vacation rentals.
