"My Wife and I have been visiting Kauai for the past ten years and the Princeville area specifically. We have stayed at several properties on the area and I have been looking at Joe and Linda's property in particular for the past several years. I thought it was a cute little place with a great location, as it is back away from the roadway. Well upon having stayed there, I know now it is one of the nicest properties in the area. And Joe and Linda are great hosts as they kept in touch to made sure we were apprised of what was going on during the Hurricane scare, but the potential storm did nothing to diminish our fun and enjoyment of our vacation, it did rain a little bit, but is there really such a thing as a bad day in Hawaii???? We plan on returning to Joe and Linda's in the future, that is if its available.( this review is probably counterproductive for that ) Thank you Joe and Linda...."

"My friends and I couldn't have been happier staying in this comfortable home. We loved the fact that we could kick back in a welcoming home after a day exploring the island, snorkeling or hanging at the beach! Our bedrooms were comfortable and we certainly did not have a problem sleeping. Waking up each morning and drinking coffee in the living room overlooking the mountains and waterfalls was a great way day to start the day. The owners thought of everything from the guest book with brochures of activities, to Wi-Fi, to cable TV and a selection of DVDs. They also supplied beach towels, chairs and coolers for our use. The condo is situated in Princeville, close to amazing beaches and great activities. No doubt we will be back for another visit! It was perfect!"

"We planned a 1 month trip to Kauai after having stayed for 3 weeks five years ago. The place we usually stay was not available so we looked around the island for another location. This condo came up and we thought it looked like a great fit for our family. We have 3 kids: 21, 18 and 13. This condo slept all of us comfortably since my daughter likes to sleep on the couch anyway. My sons shared the lower level bedroom. My concern was the master bedroom on the upper lofted floor. I was worried it might be too warm since we were visiting in June and July. It wasn't. The fan made it very comfortable for sleeping and the new bed provided a solid night's sleep. It was awesome to have two bathrooms and laundry in the unit. Two days before we left, the washer broke. Lisa dealt with it quickly and devised a solution that worked for us both. She is a pleasure to rent from and we would definitely stay here again.
This is an awesome, homey place. It feels like a beach house where you don't have to be too careful of anything yet it is clean and roomy. We could all find room to spread out after a long day at the beach. I would usually find my way to the lanai and sit and watch the birds and gaze at the ocean view. The huge tree in the yard is stunning and full of activity; a great napping spot! My husband would walk down to the beach that is accessed across the street. This is a steep walk but well worth it to him. My kids spread out in the house and watched TV (Netflix and cable) or edited their pictures.
The kitchen is well stocked with spices and condiments. The BBQ came in handy but it does run hot and probably needs to have the guts replaced.
Overall, this is a great place to stay. Princeville is absolutely beautiful and we were able to find so many beaches that were not overrun with people. The guide books on the coffee table are a huge help.
Thanks again for being a gracious host!"

"We love Princeville and have stayed at several places. Hale Mahulia has been our favorite so far. Amazing Mountain/Waterfall views off the lanai and ocean view straight out front. The owners are incredible and show a great Pride of ownership. Clean and well maintained. Hideaways is our favorite beach and we strolled down there from this home several times. Great trip!!"
