  • Luxury and location

"The pictures don't do it justice. This unit has been spectacularly remodeled with great attention given to every detail. It is very spacious and feels more like a house than a condo. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, and there are plenty of towels. We felt right at home. My husband, four kids and myself were very comfortable. Being on the first floor is nice, as it is great to walk out onto the soft green lawn and get pictures of the sunset from every angle. The ocean view is stunning from inside the home. The two minute walk to the hotel for cocktails and live music is a plus. The beach below the condo is wonderful: very few people, plenty of soft sand, sun and shade, and the best snorkelling we experienced on the island. Getting down there is, quite frankly, treacherous. But my six year old managed it several times. We have stayed in many properties all over the islands over the years, and we are very impressed with the value of this property. Many condos are smaller and not as nice for more money. We highly recommend this condo."

  • Most relaxing vacation ever

"It is hard to explain our wonderful and relaxing 12 days in this beautiful condo. This was our first trip to Kauai. The moment we opened the door, it was easy to see we were in the right place. The views are outstanding; we would start the day on the lanai each morning with coffee just taking in all the beauty before us. Bali Hai in the near distance, the ocean waves breaking just in front of us. In the evening, with freshly made Mai Tais, we waited for the beautiful sunsets which were different each night. The condo is beautiful, well furnished, and very relaxing. We felt right at home. The beds were comfortable, large beautiful bathrooms, washer and dryer, all the conveniences of home. The two golf courses, The Prince and Makai, were tough, fun and beautiful. Bring your camera if you play these courses. We enjoyed dinner at Postcards, breakfast at the St. Regis, right next door, and we grilled fresh fish bought at the fish market behind the Dolphin Restaurant in Hanalei. The owners have provided a paradise for their guests. We can honestly say that this was the most relaxing vacation we have had. Thank you for sharing your beautiful Hawaiian home with us."

  • The best place in Kauai!

"We have stayed in beautiful places all over the world but this was one of the very best! The location is absolutely perfect: sweeping views of Bali Hai, Hanalei Bay, and the cliffs and coral reefs directly below the condo. You'll have a hard time getting up the motivation to leave the lanai and go to town. But do it because the area is spectacular. I walked to the Makai Golf course and drove to the Prince course only 5 minutes away. The charming village of Hanalei is a short drive through beautiful countryside. Great places to eat abound, but for our money, cooking on the lanai couldn't be beat. The accommodations are exceptional. The appliances, furniture, and decorations are first rate. The owners have excellent taste and have created an peaceful and beautiful environment. The condo has absolutely everything you would need. I have stayed in many vacation rentals and the results are mixed. After spending a lot of money on places that didn't live up to their description we were about ready to stop renting from the online sources. But this experience changed our minds! On top of that, the owners, Dick and Eleanor, were by far the best owners that we have ever dealt with. Dick provides the most helpful guides to how to enjoy your stay that I have ever encountered. We didn't do much in the 10 days we were there: golf, snorkeling, hiking, watching movies, bird watching, dining, exploring...well, I guess we did do a lot! It just seemed so restful! We go to Maui every year since our son lives there, but Kauai is now our favorite! We're already making plans for next year!"

  • First time to Kauai

"The property was exactly as advertised. Very clean with very nice amenities.Owners had useful information about beaches and where to eat. Hanalei was our favored area for eating and shopping. For eating in, the grocery in Princeville had a good variety. Could see whales from our lanai. Can't get much better."
