  • Perfect

"We loved our stay at Pu'u Po'a. We stayed here with our 2 young kids (3 & 5) and my in-laws. It was great, because it was like having 2 master bedrooms. The condo is very well laid out (photos don't do it justice). We walked in and were immediately WOW'd! We had 9 nights there, and could have easily spent another week. Loved the main floor as we had quick and easy access to the pool, and lots of grassy area for the kids to run around. Most importantly, Janice was great to deal with the condo was spotless. We preferred Princeville to Poipu, but realize it's a personal preference. Lots to do, and great to have the 'toys' to borrow at the condo."

  • Luxury and location

"The pictures don't do it justice. This unit has been spectacularly remodeled with great attention given to every detail. It is very spacious and feels more like a house than a condo. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, and there are plenty of towels. We felt right at home. My husband, four kids and myself were very comfortable. Being on the first floor is nice, as it is great to walk out onto the soft green lawn and get pictures of the sunset from every angle. The ocean view is stunning from inside the home. The two minute walk to the hotel for cocktails and live music is a plus. The beach below the condo is wonderful: very few people, plenty of soft sand, sun and shade, and the best snorkelling we experienced on the island. Getting down there is, quite frankly, treacherous. But my six year old managed it several times. We have stayed in many properties all over the islands over the years, and we are very impressed with the value of this property. Many condos are smaller and not as nice for more money. We highly recommend this condo."

  • Oustanding!

"We are a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids 6 and 11) that spent a fantastic week here. If your rental criteria are location, great views, natural environment, peaceful setting, great beaches nearby, easy access, cleanliness, luxury, comfort and space, then look no further. This is it. We felt at home within minutes of our arrival. We have nothing but positive feedback to provide. Owner was prompt and explicit in his answers to our multiple questions and this transpired in the attention to details throughout the condo that was very noticeable. Everything has been thought out to provide ultimate comfort and pleasure to the guests. We highly recommend it."

  • Wonderful Visit!

"We stayed at this condo for 3 nights in June. It was great! We wished we had stayed longer. The condo itself was lovely - the furniture was in great shape. The king bed was super comfortable, and my kids thought the two twins were just fine. The bathrooms were spacious and very clean. The view from the patio is lovely. It was nice to sit out there and relax when we had returned from the beaches. The reservation process was easy. Tarek was very responsive to my email questions, and everything went without a problem. We even got to have late checkout since we were catching the 10:00 pm flight home. Thank you again for that, Tarek! We went down to the beach below the condo (Hideaways) on the day we got there. The steps are a little steep, but we managed. We saw others managing in flip flops, so it's really not that bad! This might have been the best snorkeling spot we saw - or second to Tunnels/Haena - we got right in the water and saw a ton of fish - even a couple of sharks (small - not scary). We didn't get a chance to go there again, and wish we had. There's always next time! Our kids also enjoyed splashing around there in the shallow, sandy part. Restaurants we liked - Kilauea Fish Market and the pizza from the gas station in the Princeville Center (near Foodland). We brought the pizza back to the condo and ate on the patio. Very easy, and tasty too! We also got take out tacos from Tropical Taco. The prices for food (grocery and restaurant) were more than at home, but I didn't find them excessive, particularly given the location! On our drive up to the North Shore, we also ate at a food truck in Kapaa that was one of the best meals we had the whole trip - Tacos al Pastor. Fabulous fish and shrimp tacos and burritos. Wow. All in all a wonderful visit! We hope to return in the not too distant future!!"
