  • A Wonderful Vacation

"We really enjoyed our stay and you have a very nice condo. It was everything you said it was and more. We also want to thank you for your help prior to our stay discussing things to do and places to go. Your warm and friendly help certainly helped to enhance our stay. Watching the sunset while sipping a glass of wine was the perfect way to end each day. Our favorite hike was the Waimea Canyon trail to Waipoo Falls. It had spectacular views and we were in the shade about half the time. The Rice Mill tour was very well done. If you like history, learning about local culture, tasting food grown on the island, and eating a delicious lunch, then this tour is for you. The farm that the historic rice mill stands on has been farmed by the same family for six generations. While rice was grown there in the past, the current crop is taro. The view from Hanalei look-out is interesting, because it includes the taro farm at the bottom of the valley. The helicopter (with no doors on it) flown by Jack Harter was a fantastic ride and definitely worthwhile. We had a great day snorkeling at Tunnels Beach. Staying at your condo played a big part in making this such a wonderful vacation."

  • Third visit, can't wait to return

"I cannot imagine why anyone would stay anywhere else in Princeville. Even if you only need a single bedroom (we were just a couple) treat yourself to this condo. The owner is easy to deal with, and treats you fairly. The condo is better than advertised so you expectations will be met or exceeded. The unit is superbly equipped. Please note, all condos in Puu Poa are NOT equal, no matter how nice they seem. Only four are end units with views both in front and to the side. In 212, you get the perfect Bali Hi view, as well as a view from the side (big windows!) out to the ocean. Hope for at least a little rain, the rainbows are fantastic. Tihs was our third, and by no means our last visit."

  • Excellent

"We just returned from Kauai. Our stay in this unit and our interactions with Paul exceeded our expectations. All you need to do is pick up the basics at the grocery store and you will be all set for your stay. The cabinets are full of anything you need for cooking and there are plenty of supplies for the beach. We left a cooler behind for the beach which should come in handy. I could write a long review but will spare us both the time. You will like this place and the location is perfect. We had 0.0 issues and were impressed with everything about the unit. The view is amazing and the sound of the waves will cover the sounds of the roosters in the morning."

  • Perfect

"We loved our stay at Pu'u Po'a. We stayed here with our 2 young kids (3 & 5) and my in-laws. It was great, because it was like having 2 master bedrooms. The condo is very well laid out (photos don't do it justice). We walked in and were immediately WOW'd! We had 9 nights there, and could have easily spent another week. Loved the main floor as we had quick and easy access to the pool, and lots of grassy area for the kids to run around. Most importantly, Janice was great to deal with the condo was spotless. We preferred Princeville to Poipu, but realize it's a personal preference. Lots to do, and great to have the 'toys' to borrow at the condo."
