  • The best place in Kauai!

"We have stayed in beautiful places all over the world but this was one of the very best! The location is absolutely perfect: sweeping views of Bali Hai, Hanalei Bay, and the cliffs and coral reefs directly below the condo. You'll have a hard time getting up the motivation to leave the lanai and go to town. But do it because the area is spectacular. I walked to the Makai Golf course and drove to the Prince course only 5 minutes away. The charming village of Hanalei is a short drive through beautiful countryside. Great places to eat abound, but for our money, cooking on the lanai couldn't be beat. The accommodations are exceptional. The appliances, furniture, and decorations are first rate. The owners have excellent taste and have created an peaceful and beautiful environment. The condo has absolutely everything you would need. I have stayed in many vacation rentals and the results are mixed. After spending a lot of money on places that didn't live up to their description we were about ready to stop renting from the online sources. But this experience changed our minds! On top of that, the owners, Dick and Eleanor, were by far the best owners that we have ever dealt with. Dick provides the most helpful guides to how to enjoy your stay that I have ever encountered. We didn't do much in the 10 days we were there: golf, snorkeling, hiking, watching movies, bird watching, dining, exploring...well, I guess we did do a lot! It just seemed so restful! We go to Maui every year since our son lives there, but Kauai is now our favorite! We're already making plans for next year!"

  • Wow!

"Although we have done much travelling, I must say that Kaua'i is in a category of its' own! What a beautiful, amazing island and what a great condo to stay in! Danny and Linda are great to deal with. Arrived late into Lihue but found the condo without a hitch...even in the dark! From the moment we walked in the door, we felt at home and the aloha spirit overtook us! Going to bed at night in the most comfortable bed with the silkiest sheets and the sound of the crashing waves was enough to take one's breath away! The pictures provided a good idea but they really DON'T do is a GREAT condo! Having a washer and dryer is also an added bonus and Danny and Linda have been gracious enough to provide Boogie Boards, snorkels, fins, coolers, beach chairs, towels,,,how awesome is that? We'd wake to the sounds of the waves crashing and...the roosters...oh yes...the roosters (lol), with a cup of Kauai coffee, make a big breakfast and plan our days...stay in (do a puzzle ,play a game of Scrabble...relax with island music), go for a walk (or run), go for a drive, go to a market, go Boogie Boarding, snorkeling, walking on the beach...any beach...pick a beach, a bazillion photo ops within minutes of the condo. Yes, make the Helicopter Trip a will not regret it! Jack Harter offers the "Doors Off" and it is breathtaking and an experience NOT to miss! If you do nothing else "touristy" do this! We also did a Luau at the "Smith's" and had a great time...they have been given some so/so reviews but it was a great "family owned/run" experience with great photo ops and an entertaining evening to boot! The drive to (Ke'e Beach?) the "end of the road" past Hanalei Bay is sooo scenic, with all of the one lane bridges and little shops, huge waves...crazy pictures...words fail me! I must say that the northern part of the island is (by far) more beautiful than any other part and we drove as far as a person could drive! If we didn't feel like going too far but wanted more sun (yes, December is winter), Anini Beach never disappointed...a little rocky but crazy waves...even saw turtles while snorkeling! The golf courses are spectacular...although I would find it hard to concentrate on golf while walking through paradise!!! Thank you for this wonderful experience and we look forward to our next visit! "Mahalo" and "A hui hou kakou, Kaua'i""

  • Wonderful, wonderful time~

"We hadn't been to Kauai in 6 years (way too long) and for the dirst time we made the decision to stay in Princeville instead of in Hanalei Bay. We'd always loved the casualness of Hanalei but wanted to have access to a pool since our daughter is a new swimmer. We were blown away. The condo is fantastic, I really think one of the nicest in the complex. The access to the pool was great and the hike to Hideaways gave us options. There are a lof of comments about the challenge of the hike, but our 5-year old did it no problem. The good news is that the beach is quiet and relatively calm. The condo had everything we could want/need. We spent many hours on the lanai watching the whales and amazing sunsets. We can't wait to return!"

  • Oustanding!

"We are a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids 6 and 11) that spent a fantastic week here. If your rental criteria are location, great views, natural environment, peaceful setting, great beaches nearby, easy access, cleanliness, luxury, comfort and space, then look no further. This is it. We felt at home within minutes of our arrival. We have nothing but positive feedback to provide. Owner was prompt and explicit in his answers to our multiple questions and this transpired in the attention to details throughout the condo that was very noticeable. Everything has been thought out to provide ultimate comfort and pleasure to the guests. We highly recommend it."
