"There were 6 adults who were overwhelmed with the spacious unit and gorgeous ocean view. We had every aminity and then some. We never tired of breakfast on the lanai, greeting the day gently with sea breezes or waking early to a walk on the lawn sitting in chairs to greet the sunrise. One couple's son got engaged at sunrise (early 20's)...so romantic. Since we were there in July our only wish was air conditioning. The pool was wonderful and the activities desk 1st class (Ryan!)."

"Location, location, location. This condo was more than we expected and was true to the pictures and description on the rental information inquiry. The property is in Princeville overlooking Hanalei Bay. The grounds were well kept, spacious, and gorgeous. We loved the pool, it was a big pool with 2-3 small waterfalls, a lot of fun with a gorgeous backdrop of the mountains. There was a path to the beach but we chose to go to the other prettier beaches in the area. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed for rennovations--it would have been nice to have that option. However, the condo made up for anything that may have been a minor inconvenience. We were a family of 5 so we rented the studio and one bedroom condo. The view off the large balcony of the one bedroom condo was spectacular, a view of Hanalei Bay with the mountains in the background. It was especially beautiful after the rain with the numerous waterfalls amidst the mountainous backdrop. The studio was spacious, nicely decorated, and air conditioned and, the nice size balcony did have a sneak, yet nice view of the bay. The one bedroom unit was large and spacious as well, remodeled nicely, with granite countertops in a well stocked nice size kitchen. It was great to have a stacked washer/dryer and, the ceiling fan and the wall A.C. unit in the main living area was much needed since the humidity was higher than usual for that time of year. Although there was no a.c. in the bedroom, the powerful ceiling fan was a plus. The unit also had other bonuses--beach items that were appreciated. We used the beach chairs, sand toys, and boogie boards. There were tennis courts on the grounds and we wanted to use them but we had no time. The condo was centrally located which was a benefit since it was a bit of an incline walking to the parking lot. Thankfully you could call the front desk for a golf cart pickup to your car. Not only was there a large balcony off the condo but a large balcony in front as well which was a great space used to play with my granddaughter. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and miss the view. Thank you to the owner/manager, he was great to deal with and available to answer any questions. I definitely would highly recommend this studio/condo unit and would be thrilled to rent again when we visit Princeville again. Mahalo."

"We have just concluded a wonderful month long stay at the Villas on the Prince #28. The condo was clean, well equipped and maintained. Appliances were new and in good working order. The beds were comfortable and had beautiful linens and bedspreads. Everything was fresh and even smelled luxurious! The starter supplies were greatly appreciated. We loved the views from the large windows or the balcony and enjoyed relaxing on the secluded patio off the master bedroom. The convenience of a five minute walk to a grocery store, shops, the library and restaurants was a bonus. Hanalei is a five minute drive and several beaches are five to ten minutes away. The neighbourhood is very quiet and secure. Our stay was made even more relaxing as a result of the thoughtfulness of the owners of this villa. They contacted us soon after we arrived to ensure that all was as we hoped and encouraged us to contact them directly any time that we had a question about anything. One occasion when we did, they responded immediately, were most helpful, and showed sincere concern that our stay would be as enjoyable as it turned out to be. We definitely look forward to returning to to this perfect home away from home in the very near future."

"We'd fallen in love with Kauai about 10 years ago and try to come back every few years. We've stayed at other communities, and this was our first time at Nihilani. This unit was just perfect for our family vacation. We had 8 people (5 adults, 3 kids) staying in the unit, and it was really perfect for us. There were enough beds (including the pull-out), enough chairs and, most importantly, enough nooks for a little escape when someone needed quiet time. The kids had a great time at the pool, too. The car fit everyone nicely, and was perfect for trips to Hanalei, Tunnels or Lydgate. Jim was very responsive. The on-island manager was a little less so, but the few things I tried to contact her about were minor (because the unit is kept in great shape) and didn't impact our trip. I highly recommend this unit (and have already sent out this link to several friends looking to go to Kauai). Next time we are back, we'll be looking to stay here again. Mahalo, Jim!"
