  • Great Price, Great Location, Great Condo!

"My wife and I stayed at this condo for just over three weeks in June. It was a spacious clean condo that was perfect for us. My in laws and some friends came throughout our time there so the two bedrooms were wonderful. We had a few small problems when we first arrived, (plumbing, no propane, etc.) but after letting the owner and condo manger know, everything was fixed right away. We really appreciated how quickly they handled those issues so we didn't have to worry about them! The location was ideal for us. It felt secluded but you were so close to everything you would need or want. We often went to Princeville shopping center for food, snow cones and live music. (If Cam is playing and singing you will not be disappointed.) We were able to travel around the North Shore and experience so many amazing beaches and activities without having to drive fare. For example, Queens bath is around a 4 minute drive and Hideaways beach (located opposite of St. Regis) is about 6 minutes away. When we didn't feel like going anywhere, we just relaxed at the wonderful pool right outside the door. We even grilled out on several occasions by the pool and on our porch. It was fantastic! The only reason we give this condo 4 stars is because of the noise. Sadly 2 out of the three weeks that we stayed in the condo, there were also people staying upstairs (three separate groups). We could hear just about every step they took as if they were giants. It definitely shouldn't deter you from staying at this condo, but just realize it is a ground level condo with others potentially staying above you. We were woken up several times very early in the morning by children running or chairs being moved. It's just REALLY loud for some reason. Just bring ear plugs and you'll probably be fine. It's just something to be aware of. With all that said, we really did love our time on the North Shore and in this condo! You will not find a better condo for the space, price, amenities and location! Trust me, I looked!!"

  • Get away trip

"Rating Details: I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was more than happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We needed a break and had the opportunity to spend a few days in Kauai. The condo was just as described by Coldwel Banker. Very neat, clean, beautiful views of the mountains and ocean, just a short hop to St. Regis resort. The shopping cente in Princeville was only miunutes from the condo and the store had everything you could think of. We cooked several meals in the unit and enjoyed the view from the balcony. We would definitely stay here again and we would recommend the unit to friends. A couple of thing we noted in the guest book that required attention; 1). The oven was not working; 2). The circuit breaker on the deck would trip when using the Bar B Q grill 3). The Tv controls were difficult to operate and they were not user friendly. These items did not sour our trip. Just items that should be lookded at by the owner or property manager. All in all, a great condo and relaxing experience for us."

  • A GREAT CONDO!!!

"Views from b-12 were really exceptional. What we liked was the GREAT views of the mountains AND good views of the ocean. We had an excellent view of the big mountain--wettest place on earth. Fun to watch the clouds come and go over its top. We really loved the way the lush mountains looked in the sun and varied with the time of day. You can get a better sea view from some other units but this one is good---about 60 degrees of sea view from your lanai and a very nice sea view from the kitchen. The unit is very private--we never drew the drapes. We VERY heartily recommend getting an upstairs unit with really good mountain views as well as some sea views. The unit is clean and very nicely furnished with tasteful and comfortable island furniture and neat island print fabrics. Furniture appears new and there are new maple floors. LOTS of windows, and they all open so you can have the breezes flowing through the unit all the time. A VERY nice touch is that there is a full wall of mirrors in the living room so you think the views are ALL around you. Kitchen is good and well stocked. Bathroom is small but adequate. Excellent shower. Very nice owner Leila. Good rental price. We will absolutely go back to this unit. THINGS TO DO: Lots of great beaches. We liked Lumahai. Ke'e and Tunnels are nice but crowded and it is hard to park there. The Tiki Bar in the Princeville Center is really fun--Mike is great. We also had an excellent lunch there. The Lighthouse and bird sanctuary are nearby-very interesting--volunteers are there to tell you about things and a good video running in the gift shop. There is a bistro on the way to the lighthouse in that has a great saimen bowls. Hanalei for browsing. Sit out on the bluff in front of the condos and watch and listen to the sea. Great place for a glass of wine (although our lanai was a great place for a glass of wine too!!!) We did the trek to the beach below the condo--a bit tough but well worth it,,,probably slippery when wet. Be careful. The North shore is very peaceful and we just hung out on beaches (we tried to see them all) and on our lanai. Lots of lovely vistas from the roads. Nice slow pace. Very relaxing. The Princeville Center has a very well stocked grocery store, which is handy. WiFi works. Parking is good. Very quiet--oh perhaps with the exception of the roosters, but they are really fun and add to the character. They are EVERYWHERE on the island."
