"Very clean, comfortable, and spacious. Location is great and so are the prices. Check out the guestbooks as they have good advice."

  • Wonderful Home, vacation of a lifetime.

"This was our first trip to Hawaii and we had the opportunity to stay in Denese and Steves awesome home. They are such great hosts and take every opportunity to make you feel comfortable and at home. There is even a lovely floral arrangement when you arrive. Pictures do not do this place justice. It is large and beautiful. The beds are so comfortable and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need, from appliances and spices to the barbeque grill on the lanai. The washer and dryer were put to good use. Even the neighbors were super nice. I chose this place for the views and they did not let us down. We loved being so close to Foodland and the Princeville Center. For us this was the perfect location on the island. We hope to return someday, but will definately tell all of our friends about this wonderful home."

  • GREAT Value

"We just returned from our 4th stay in these units at Hanalei Bay Resort and cannot recommend them highly enough. The resort has the most gorgeous pool, with a 2nd pool as well. The hot tub, water falls, stonework are wonderful. The resort now has an exercise room, business center, and extremely helpful concierge service. (If you're staying long enough....I'd recommend going to the orientation by them. I've twice won raffles that included kayaking and a marine snorkeling trip.) The lobby of the resort is brand new and there will soon be a restaurant and bar. The units themselves have gorgeous views and have everything you need to be comfortable. We tended to be out most of the day but always returned to catch the sunsets on the overlook that has a firepit...huge sectional and other seating. For the price, you cannot beat this value. The resort is one of the older ones and has beautiful and mature landscaping. The beach is shared with the St Regis Resort (think The Descendents). The owner is so easy to work with and wants you to come back. We always will! Aloha!"

  • Perfect

"We loved our stay at Pu'u Po'a. We stayed here with our 2 young kids (3 & 5) and my in-laws. It was great, because it was like having 2 master bedrooms. The condo is very well laid out (photos don't do it justice). We walked in and were immediately WOW'd! We had 9 nights there, and could have easily spent another week. Loved the main floor as we had quick and easy access to the pool, and lots of grassy area for the kids to run around. Most importantly, Janice was great to deal with the condo was spotless. We preferred Princeville to Poipu, but realize it's a personal preference. Lots to do, and great to have the 'toys' to borrow at the condo."
