  • Great house and location

"What a very well laid out house! The bedrooms are on opposite sides from each other so there's enough privacy even with the windows open. Very quiet location with little traffic other than local. Open floor plan with a great patio area to eat outside and enjoy the very possible afternoon rains. We definitely will be back, thanks Christine!"

  • Home away from Home, with better weather!

"We loved the light and airy living space. Close to pool, hot tub and BBQ. All the beach gear was great to use! The beaches were breathtaking. We went whale watching at the Lighthouse, traveled up river to Fern Grotto, drove to Wiamea Canyon and so much more! We would not hesitate to stay here again!"

  • A wonderful place to stay!

"We stayed here in early December on our first trip to Kauai, and now can't imagine staying anywhere else when we return. This was our first VRBO stay and so we were a bit nervous, but we found right away that condo was very easy to locate and, if anything, better than advertised. The unit is bright and cheerful, and everything was in good working order. The pictures of the unit and the view are spot-on, and between the ocean and the constant variety of birds passing by, we were constantly by the windows when inside. The location was great to get to excellent food, shopping, and most of the major sights. A couple of other highlights for our family: - Alii Kai is great. Being in 2, the pool for it was almost always free and the area was quiet and comfortable. But, we also had access to tour companies that would drop off in front of the Resort. It was all of the space, flexibility and comfort of a condo, but with many of the same benefits of hotel resorts. - One of the tours (from the resort!) that we took was the tour of movies and tv filmed in Kauai. Which was wonderful because we were able to watch some of the movies before and after the tour, thanks to the condo's movie collection. It was the special touches like this that really made the condo stand out. The movies, games, and everything in the fun closets just made for constant entertainment, and that with all of the comforts made it really feel like we were staying in a home. - The Nene are fabulous! They came right up to us while we were sitting out on the lanai most days and let us take pictures. They'd wander off after realizing we truly weren't going to feed them, but we typically saw them 2-4 times a day. We love wildlife so this and all of the wildlife around really added to our experience. Overall we really liked this place, and hope to stay here again on our next visit to Kauai!"
