Great Kauai Vacation House
"This was one of many family trips to Kauai and by far the most spacious accommodations that we have had. The house is large enough to accommodate numerous family members while still allowing quiet times in the down stairs bedrooms. We had seven people and we all loved the house. The large kitchen area was wonderful because we actually enjoyed numerous meals eating in and cooking as a team. There were also nice restaurants nearby where we ate out when we decided no cooking! The house is fully stocked and we all felt like we were staying at a friend's house. We would definitely recommend this house, the location was exactly where we wanted to be and all that we were hoping for. Kudos to the wonderful owners."

"We stayed at Lisa's condo for our 10-year-anniversary. The condo was clean upon our arrival. Is is nicely decorated and updated as well as very spacious, which made us feel comfortable during our trip. We were quite pleased with the provided extra amenities (washer and dryer, detergent, soaps, paper towels, kitchen utensils, pots/pans, coolers, beach chairs, etc.). The bed was comfortable and the A/C worked well in the hot/humid evenings and mornings while we were there. The bathroom and shower are brightly lit and have ample storage space. The view from the patio/lanai is beautiful and we enjoyed peaceful mornings looking out into the ocean, mountain, and lush landscape. Unfortunately, the young couple who had rented the adjoining smaller unit during the same timeframe were quite loud in their conversations, which was a significant disruption to the tranquility of the surrounding environment. I wish that we had been provided a small vacuum or dust buster to use during our stay to clean up the sand we had tracked in on our feet from the beach as the broom that was provided did not work as well for this purpose. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return if circumstances allow."

"We've stayed in other privately owned units at Hanalie Bay Resort before but none compare to in beauty or comfort to these two units and the value is unbelievable.
We were concerned we would hear car alarms and such being so close to the parking but didn't hear a thing and slept sound every night.
Both beds were super comfortable. They were so comfortable that I have been online looking at new mattress for our home.
The staff is amazing; always cheerful, helpful and personal, including the attendants who drive the cart, ladies who check us in and out, concierge, gardeners and housekeeping.
I can also attests to the fact that I had a first hand comparison on this trip because Delta sent a smaller plane the night we were to fly out and I got bumped. In fact, 26 other people got bumped too. All worked out though; they set me up in a room in another resort for 24 hours. Although it is very nice resort it doesn't even begin to compare to Hanalie Bay Resort.
The people were polite and said all the right things and helpful. But they were superficial or seemed to do it because it was a job, a routine to them that has been rehearsed and rehearsed well. At Hanalie Bay the employees must give freedom to be themselves or maybe the board of directors set a personable, genuine example for them to follow. I'm not sure how it occurs but there is a different "spirit" at Hanalie Bay Resort. It is the spirit of the island. It is at Hanalie Bay Resort but not at all resorts.
There is more to Hanalie Bay Resort than the view or even comfortable bed. It is hard to describe you must experience it for yourself."

"What a great place to stay on the North Shore in Princeville! It was a very quiet area which was relaxing for us. Great pool in the complex that looks like a hotel pool. We were so glad we chose to stay in Princeville, many beautiful (and calm) beaches in this area of the island and lots to do. We went to Hideaways Beach which was 5 minutes away, Anini Beach which was about 5-10 minutes, then also Tunnels Beach is close on the way to Ke'e Beach. We hiked the Na Pali coast trail and were so glad we stayed on this side of the island. Lori was a fantastic hostess, she made sure we had all we needed! Highly recommended by our family, we have 7 people stay and were very comfortable!"
