  • peaceful and relaxing

"We had a really nice time in this comfortable home near a lovely beach. The snorkeling was great, and we were lucky to see a monk seal on the sand one day. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well supplied. The location was convenient to Ke'e beach with great hiking, but a long drive to other sites of interest. We went to Hanalei Bay several times. The staff was helpful and easy to reach. One thing you should know is that there are wild roosters all over Kauai, and there was one living in the garden of Keiki Leo, crowing loudly for hours, starting at 4:30 AM. Some mornings were worse than others, but it woke all of us up every morning. I thought roosters crowed once at dawn then stopped-- I was wrong. they start before dawn, then keep crowing intermittently for hours, very loudly. I'm not sure what can be done about this issue, since there are so many roosters and they are protected, but if you are a light sleeper, I recommend bringing earplugs."

  • Perfect Location for vacationing with friends

"My wife & I stayed for 10 days in this wonderful home with 3 of our closest friends. It's the perfect base for numerous adventures or just relaxing on the beach. Everything you could possibly need is either at the home or obtainable nearby. Internet and library of Kauai vacation books worked great for activity planning. Water was calm and usually happy families enjoying the beach by afternoon. It was just perfect. We cooked most nights, however nearby Kilauea Fish Market was a constant craving. We'd definitely recommend."

  • Highly recommended!

"This beautiful unit was such a pleasure to stay in. It is newly and beautifully renovated with high quality materials and great taste. Lots of beautiful fabric pillows and art really give it an island personality. It is spacious, and BOTH of the bedrooms and bathrooms are really nice. It is very quiet, not close to a road, with nobody above the unit. Because it is the condo unit in a row of four, nobody walks past it. Kitchen is very well equipped with all essentials. Although Princeville is a large community of resorts that lacks much personality, it is a close drive more interesting places. And the condo is a short (though a bit of a climb) walk from the beautiful Anini Beach via a wide dirt trail (5-10 minute walk). Lots of guide books in the condo as well. It has been thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need for your stay."
