  • Good value

"This was a decent value. The condo is well equipped - towels, kitchenware, furnishings, etc. The location is great - in Princeville located on a bluff over the ocean. This unit has some partial ocean views and feels very private. Parking is good. The unit has no A/C - has a couple standing fans and a ceiling fan but because of the configuration of the unit, it gets very little cross-breeze through the room and therefore - when it's muggy and hot - stays muggy and hot. However, the place is quite nice, good furnishings and lots of details. I would probably stay here again."

  • Family vacation in paradise

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I planned this vacation with our daughter her husband. There were 10 total in our party. There were four adults and six children from the ages of three to eighteen. The location was excellent. We were a 5 minute walk to the beach. Shopping was a ten minute drive away. Numerous outdoor activities within 10 minutes; hiking, kayaking, surfing, turtle viewing. The house in general had plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was very functional and equipped well with all the necessary essentials. The washer/dryer were excellent. The outdoor barbecue was excellent and used daily. The five bedrooms were spacious and clean. NOTE bedrooms facing the street were subject to some street noise. The house had 360 degree wrap around covered deck, great feature. The house was in need of some simple maintenance, outside gate repair and refrigerator had a water leak when the ice maker/water dispenser were used."

  • Awesome location and great value

"We absolutely loved our stay on the loft side of 208. The unobstructed view of the mountains from the balcony was spectacular and the condo was roomy and very comfortable. The condo has everything you need and would be great for sharing with family, or just for a romantic getaway for two. If you are looking for an inexpensive, comfortable, quiet place with great views, I would highly recommend 208!"

  • Beautiful place

"This was our first, one-week-only Hawaii vacation. Location: We read that winter on Kauai's North Shore means tall surf and potentially cloudy, cool conditions. But this is what we did within 100 yards of the house: Swim, sunbathe, snorkel (!), watch whales, bike, have dinner on the Lanei, walk on the beach, go out for dinner (Mediterranean Gourmet), see a Luaua (also at the Mediterranean Gourmet, we only caught the end of it), visit a coffee shop plus gallery. This is what we did within a 10-minute car ride or bike ride: All of the above plus hike the Napali Coast, watch an incredible sunset at Ke'e beach, surf Hanalei, shop Hanalei, walk to Tunnels along the beach, snorkel at Tunnels, buy a Ukulele. We made it to Poipu for some more snorkeling one day, but we didn't feel we needed to be on the South Shore to enjoy Kauai. The South Shore has a very different, more resort-y character, and we preferred the North Shore. The house: it's really the location that makes it a winner. You will pay a premium just to be right on the ocean. Once you accept that it is a reasonable value. And if you can budget that, it is totally unbeatable. The sounds of the ocean at night kind of envelop you, and you wake up to a beach sunrise. The house is as advertised, nice little details like plenty of bathtowels, washer/dryer, well-equipped kitchen and incredibly large bathrooms. Clean. Quite spacious for our family of 4. We dined in every day except one and kitchen was fine for cooking. Nice wood floor in the kitchen, wish the wood floor extended everywhere instead of the carpeting but that's personal taste. Interactions with the owner: Steve was very responsive. There was no micromanagement - no long list of instructions, either for arrival, for the house, or for departure. But when I had a question it was answered promptly. Mahalo!"

Kauai is known for its sandy beaches and evergreen tropical foliage, and condos in this area allow you the perfect view of such scenery.

Enjoy Kauai by Checking out Nearby Attractions

Of course, if you want to stick to the natural scenery as much as possible, picturesque Hanalei Bay is a short drive away and is th perfect place to watch surfers do what they do best. If staying in an area surrounded by scenic hiking paths, tropical fruit trees, and the salty sea breeze sounds perfect to you, Wainiha condos will exceed your expectations.
