  • Tucked Away in Paradise

"After one of our booked cottages fell through, we were fortunate to find this beautiful place tucked in the lush Wainiha Valley on the north shore. It was better than we expected and very close to the beaches and trails we wanted to visit. For us it had all the comforts of home, and an efficient kitchen for preparing our meals. We did not want a condo experience, and this place gave us the privacy we wanted. The shops and grocery store in Hanalei are close enough to run in for anything you need. Paula our hostess, took very good care of us. The fresh fruit, yogurt, homemade granola and other perks were over the top. I also liked the fact that the hot water heater was solar. The yard landscaping was beautiful. Our only disappointment was having to leave such a welcoming cottage and setting. I would return in a heartbeat and recommend it to my friends."

  • I want to live here!

"Walked into the house and immediately it smelled both clean and like the outdoors (windows were open obviously). There was cable, wifi, washer/dryer, and great cookware! They didn't miss a thing. Everything from coffee filters to cooking oil to a clean sponge was there. the couches and bed were very comfortable. You could hear nature right outside the windows. Sometimes nature consists of roosters at 8am, but it was very peaceful. The only remotely negative thing about it is the water temperature fluctuates and the bathroom light won't turn on sometimes. But neither of these things were a big inconvience. Also make sure to keep the screen door closed or Mosquitos will be ridiculous. Location was great. 10 minutes to princeville, 20-30 to lihue. On a clear night you can see what looks like millions of stars! They also supply beach chairs, a grill, a surfboard, and even a kayak! Overall I found that the reviews raving about this place were all incredibly correct. Hosts were incredibly nice. I've decided I want to live in this place."

  • Can We Stay Longer?

"This was the trip we had been dreaming of for a long time, and am only grateful that we waited until this rental was available. The house was absolutely everything we could have hoped for, and the quiet and peaceful location was the perfect backdrop for our little island retreat. Waking up to the sound of singing birds we rolled out of bed and stumbled down to the beach at the end of the road to watch the rising sun. Getting caught in a shower storm on the way back only added to the excitement of island living. With our picnic packed and our snorkel gear in tow we rode our bikes (all gear provided) down to tunnels beach for a magical day frolicking in the sand and surf. Dinner was fresh fish and an abundant collection of fruit and veggies from the local farmers market which just added the the light and airy experience of this incredible and healing vacation. The proximity to all things necessary is extremely convenient, with Hanalei being only a 10 minute drive, and yet when you are in the home you feel like you really are off the map. I cannot say enough of this beautiful home, it's owner and property manager. All correspondence was very timely and helpful. This is now our number one getaway...and we will be back. The only thing that will be different is that we will make sure that we stay longer!"

  • Everything advertised and more

"From the response time of the owner to get the place booked to our 5 day stay, the room and resort was better than expected. I just got back from Kauai surprising my girlfriend with a proposal and we had a blast. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable, and lots of amenities. (now my girlfriend wants to buy a mattress just like it). And it's the most affordable location on the north side of the island. We'd highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a good deal without sacrificing the beauty of where you are staying."
