  • Home away from home!

"Where do I start? This was my first VRBO experience, and I was skeptical, but boy did the Fraziers deliver! The apartment/house (it's a stand-alone unit above a car port) is absolutely amazing. It is tastefully decorated, just like in the pictures, and the location could not be more ideal--a block from Hanalei Bay! The Fraziers thought of everything--paddle board, outdoor shower, towels and toiletries, boogie boards and beach supplies--we were well equipped for our week in Hanalei. The bikes provided were ideal for strolling into town (10 min walk, half as long on bikes) and grabbing coffee/exploring. The family lives next door and were very respectful about giving us our space--we felt like we were in a separate lot all together. The accommodations are very comfortable--there is no A/C, which wasn't a problem since the temperature dropped enough at night to be cold. There is one master bedroom, a pull out couch, and a day bed--perfect for a couple or a family with young kids. We recommended this unit to everyone we spoke to during our time in Hawaii. Hope to make the trip back and stay here again!"

  • Best Vacation!

"A friend and I stayed at Debbie and Lloyd's lovely studio the entire month of July. It was a dream vacation and we loved the location. Literally 150 steps to the beach. The rental had everything we needed for the month from cooking utensils, a library and EVERYTHING for the beach. We didn't have a car for over two weeks of our stay and we walked or rode the bikes provided to town. Debbie gave us fresh papayas and mangoes and we were lucky enough to get fresh fish twice when Lloyd went fishing! We will be back soon! We loved our home away from home!!"

  • Family celebration of our 50th Anniversary

"There were 3 generations of us, ages 74-10 with 3 teenagers, to celebrate our 50th anniversary, so we needed a big house. And what a house! It was perfect for our needs; completely furnished down to the finest detail. Very nice layout, plenty of room for everyone to be together or to have quiet time. It was very sound and dry during a tropical storm that could have been the hurricane that was predicted. We walked the 2 blocks to the village and the 2 blocks to the beach several times. I would recommend visitors bring binoculars to view the numerous waterfalls from the lanai. We all fell in love with Hanalei Bay, the beaches, the village and the house. We loved the laid-back feeling of the location and the fact that there are no large developments, condos or time shares there. Even so, there was plenty for our group to do: boogie boarding, snorkeling, ocean swimming, hiking, watching beautiful sunsets over Hanalei Bay. We really appreciated the outdoor shower and all of the beach towels and beach toys that were furnished. It was a pleasure to work with the owner, Jake, and with his property manager. She was right there for us when we had questions or something came up. Would we stay here again? You bet!! Thanks, Hale Hanalei, for beautiful memories of a great occasion."

  • Luxury in paradise

"My fiancé and I had a luxurious and comfortable stay here after hiking the Kalalau trail. The view was absolutely amazing- we loved sitting on the grass and watching the sunset. The biggest perks for us were the comfortable bed, great access to Hideaways, and the washer and dryer…and that view!!"

Kauai North Shore Vacation Rentals Offer Beautiful Scenery and Plenty of Opportunity

Whenever the subject of visiting Hawaii arises, you’re sure to hear of the amazing North Shore of Kauai. Kauai North Shore vacation rentals give you breathtaking views, access to local historical villages, and plenty to see and do during your stay here.

Spectacular Scenery near Kauai North Shore Vacation Rentals

Among the renowned natural surroundings on Kauai’s North Shore is the Na Pali Coast. Cliffs along this coast tower 4,000 above sea level and provide great photo opportunities.

When staying in Kauai condos, you may be lucky enough to find a spot along Lumahai Beach, known for the many movies filmed there and beautiful sands many only dream of. The historical settlement of Hanalei is also found in this area, most often a short drive from many Kauai lodging options.

Stay in Kauai Condos and Experience the Na Pali Coast

Many Kauai North Shore vacation rentals are located on the Na Pali coast, which can provide perfect scenery for both a destination beach wedding and a memorable honeymoon. Movie fans love to visit the Honopu Valley, where parts of the famous “King Kong” were filmed. Afterward, you can curl up on the couch in your choice of Kauai condos to watch the original 1976 blockbuster. For a taste of true hula dancing, book your Kauai lodging near Ke ahu a laka Heiau: the site of a famous hula school where many dancers still come to practice their craft.

Step Back in Time at Kauai Lodging in Hanalei

Anyone visiting the original settlement area of Hanalei feels as if they’ve taken a trip back in time. Many Kauai North Shore vacation rentals are found in or near the area, giving you easy access to the surrounding sights and activities available.

You may venture from the Kauai condos to tour one of the wet or dry caves in Hanalei, or even simply visit local shops to find your needed souvenirs. Kauai lodging also gives easy access to Hanalei Bay, Lumahai Beach, Makana Peak, Kee Beach and Waioli Mission House.
