  • Charming Beach Cottage

"The Miller house is steps away from the beach and town, making its location ideal for familes with young kids (not too much walking!). The kitchen is perfect for making family meals, the yard is spacious for running around (though its right on the road and unfenced so be careful with the very young ones). There is laundry on premises, outdoor shower, two bathrooms (one with a full tub). The house worked very well for our family of three adults and two kids (3 years and 3 months old). The town of Hanalei is most charming. I would reccomend this home to friends. And finally, the owners are very, very nice people."

"Great vacation. Kauai Treehouse was a little off the beaten path, but once we settled in we found it nicely equipped and very comfortable for a week's stay. Beds were super comfy, and we were able to watch the world cup and access the internet with no worries. Towels aplenty, along with all needed things in the kitchen. Landscaping, esp by the river was a little overgrown, and the river didn't look like one we wanted to swim or float in. The walkable beach was inaccessible, but great beaches were reached with a 5 - 15 minute drive, and that posed no issues. We love the North Shore, so the location was perfect for Tunnels, Hanalei, Limihuli, etc. Others wishing to be closer to the east and southern action may want to consider something somewhere more centrally located. The TEAC CD/IPod Player did not work... though we did get the other IPod player to work. Dog barking at night (dog fights??) and in the morning (as mentioned by other recent folks) was annoying at times. No, was very frustrating... The BBQ, Stove, Fridge, Microwave, Washer and Dryer were all welcome additions. Overall a very pleasant stay."

  • Alii Kai Condo

"What an adorable place! My husband and I travelled to the north shore of Kuaui for the second half of our Hawaiian vacation and stayed at Karen's place for several days. It was clean, comfortable and very convenient to the areas attractions we were looking to visit (Hanalei, the Kualalau Trail, north shore beaches, to name a few.) On our first day there we followed a path down to the water just in front of the condo to find an amazing rocky beach (Turtle Cove I think?) We snorkled and swam and found a great cave to explore! We were also able to walk to the Queen's Bath from the condo, a real treat since parking there is very limited. The condo was well-stocked with well maintained beach accessories including lush beach towels and the condo was super quiet, even though all 4 units of the building were occupied during our stay. I would love to stay here again if I ever make it back to Kuaui!"

  • Luxury in paradise

"My fiancé and I had a luxurious and comfortable stay here after hiking the Kalalau trail. The view was absolutely amazing- we loved sitting on the grass and watching the sunset. The biggest perks for us were the comfortable bed, great access to Hideaways, and the washer and dryer…and that view!!"

Whenever the subject of visiting Hawaii arises, you’re sure to hear of the amazing North Shore of Kauai. Kauai North Shore vacation rentals give you breathtaking views, access to local historical villages, and plenty to see and do during your stay here.

Spectacular Scenery near Kauai North Shore Vacation Rentals

Among the renowned natural surroundings on Kauai’s North Shore is the Na Pali Coast. Cliffs along this coast tower 4,000 above sea level and provide great photo opportunities.

When staying in Kauai condos, you may be lucky enough to find a spot along Lumahai Beach, known for the many movies filmed there and beautiful sands many only dream of. The historical settlement of Hanalei is also found in this area, most often a short drive from many Kauai lodging options.

Stay in Kauai Condos and Experience the Na Pali Coast

Many Kauai North Shore vacation rentals are located on the Na Pali coast, which can provide perfect scenery for both a destination beach wedding and a memorable honeymoon. Movie fans love to visit the Honopu Valley, where parts of the famous “King Kong” were filmed. Afterward, you can curl up on the couch in your choice of Kauai condos to watch the original 1976 blockbuster. For a taste of true hula dancing, book your Kauai lodging near Ke ahu a laka Heiau: the site of a famous hula school where many dancers still come to practice their craft.

Step Back in Time at Kauai Lodging in Hanalei

Anyone visiting the original settlement area of Hanalei feels as if they’ve taken a trip back in time. Many Kauai North Shore vacation rentals are found in or near the area, giving you easy access to the surrounding sights and activities available.

You may venture from the Kauai condos to tour one of the wet or dry caves in Hanalei, or even simply visit local shops to find your needed souvenirs. Kauai lodging also gives easy access to Hanalei Bay, Lumahai Beach, Makana Peak, Kee Beach and Waioli Mission House.
