  • Amazing View and Stay

"I was compelled to write a review before even leaving! Writing this sitting looking out at the ocean and mountains. The pictures drew us into reserving a stay here but actually being here is just breathtaking. In the first day, saw a rainbow, whales, and endless waves right from this unit. We wandered down the 5 minute walk to the secluded sandy beach below, and did not see anyone else there the whole hour a half we were there. As an architect, I appreciate the modern crisp, new and clean interior that does not compete with the amazing scenery outside. The kitchen is fully stocked with new dishes, and appliances. The living room and bedroom have everything one would need. Now we are off to enjoy our multi day stay here. Will definitely want to come back. Thanks Mitch."

  • Loved this place!

"My boyfriend, parents, and I recently stayed here and it is a GLORIOUS spot. Look out the front door: whales in the ocean! Look out the kitchen window: waterfalls in the mountains! And the lanai has a perfect view of beautiful foliage as well--and if you're lucky, you'll meet Pesky the Cardinal (and his girlfriend, who's not quite as brave as this guy!) Many details are attended to; the owners' love of this property is apparent. I especially liked the herb garden out back--the mint, chives, dill, and lettuce were put to good use! Two things that people should know: --NO air-conditioning. There are fans, but when it's muggy outside, fans blow muggy air around. --The bedrooms share a wall, which isn't soundproof. Overall, I loved it. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"We return to north shore of Kauai every year for over 20 years. We have stayed in many complexes and condos. PKK218 is best view and maintained. Owner is a pleasure to work with. We would not consider staying any where else."

  • Family New Years

"Outstanding property and very well equipped. It was tough to decide whether to sit out and look at the Pacific with spouting whales or to chill out looking at the lush back yard with gorgeous mountain views! Our four boys, ages 18-21, all found their own spots in the house and enjoyed playing board games in the living room. Nice extras such as boogie boards, beach chairs, surf boards, DVDs, and many kitchen staples. The driveway is very steep but fully accessible even in heavy rains - the neighbor even provided help one time when we got stuck and the rewards of living high up were well worth it! Pure Kauai gave us great advice on some island activities such as surfing lessons and the HoloHolo cruise. Favorite restaurant was definitely the Blue Dolphin. Explore some of the less known beaches all nearby such as Secret Beach and Lawson's Beach. The Kalalau trail is a must."
