"Great location and price for a home in Ha'ena, just a two minute walk to one of the most gorgeous beaches on the island. My family of grown siblings enjoyed the separation of space, the quiet neighborhood and uncrowded beach with great snorkeling just two minutes away. Great kitchen if you want to cook, or Hanalei just 10 minutes away for eating out. We did have some unusual heat and humidity, so the house does get hot during the day if you're there during a hot spell, but plenty of fans cooled it down at night "fairly" decently. For the price and location and the artistic beauty of the home, I think it was the best deal this close to the end of the road on the North Shore!"Guest: Kauai Junkie Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 4, 2014View listing
"Our group of four adults and four young kids spent a week here in April. First, the hosts, Suzi and Bab, were very prompt and helpful in their communication and accommodating of our requests. The location was absolutely amazing, with lovely and immediate beach views right from the patio and dining area. The area was secluded enough to be nestled in nature, with the beach pretty much in the front yard, the rainforest in the backyard, and spacious sides for the kids to run about in. The beach was very calm and shallow, which was perfect for our kids. It was a bit more pebbly than some other beaches we visited, but beautiful. It is close to Princeville, Hanalei and not far from other north shore destinations. The house itself was beautifully kept, clean, comfortable and had all the amenities one could ask for, and was well-stocked. The washer and dryer is downstairs, along with a clothesline, sink, shower and a patio table and chairs. That really helped us deal with the sandy clothes and selves when we returned from the beach everyday. There are colorful roosters and little hen-and-chick families around the house (and everywhere else on Kauai, it seems!) that was a huge attraction for the kids! There were also some geckos around, which, again were of interest to some among us :-) The only critters we didn't like were the mosquitoes outdoors in late evenings, but the screens on the doors and windows helped with keeping them out. We mostly cooked at home, but also loved to visit some places in Hanalei (Hanalei coffee roasters has not only great coffee, but yummy waffles for breakfast and superb panini sandwiches for lunch!) The Hanalei bay beaches were beautiful, and so was Ke'e beach, although the latter was a bit crowded until early evening. The long stretch of Anini beach right outside the front door was a lovely, calm and uncrowded place to walk, and was also beautiful in the moonlight. We loved this place, and would wholeheartedly recommend it!"Guest: Anjor T. Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: April 22, 2014View listing

"We absolutely loved our stay on the loft side of 208. The unobstructed view of the mountains from the balcony was spectacular and the condo was roomy and very comfortable. The condo has everything you need and would be great for sharing with family, or just for a romantic getaway for two. If you are looking for an inexpensive, comfortable, quiet place with great views, I would highly recommend 208!"Guest: Victoria Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: April 1, 2014View listing
