Private cottage for non-resort couples
"Paradise on the road! We loved our stay at Coco Cottage. Once we arrived at the Cottage we barely drove our vehicle anywhere. Loved walking into town to get coffee/breakfast most mornings. The bikes were also an added treat. The cottage is quite private. We can't wait to stay here again!
We live in Oregon and we recycle everything we can. We threw many things into the trash that would have been recycled at home and that was very hard on us. We will research this topic further for our next trip and maybe we can do better with our recycling."

"We stayed here in early December on our first trip to Kauai, and now can't imagine staying anywhere else when we return. This was our first VRBO stay and so we were a bit nervous, but we found right away that condo was very easy to locate and, if anything, better than advertised. The unit is bright and cheerful, and everything was in good working order. The pictures of the unit and the view are spot-on, and between the ocean and the constant variety of birds passing by, we were constantly by the windows when inside. The location was great to get to excellent food, shopping, and most of the major sights. A couple of other highlights for our family:
- Alii Kai is great. Being in 2, the pool for it was almost always free and the area was quiet and comfortable. But, we also had access to tour companies that would drop off in front of the Resort. It was all of the space, flexibility and comfort of a condo, but with many of the same benefits of hotel resorts.
- One of the tours (from the resort!) that we took was the tour of movies and tv filmed in Kauai. Which was wonderful because we were able to watch some of the movies before and after the tour, thanks to the condo's movie collection. It was the special touches like this that really made the condo stand out. The movies, games, and everything in the fun closets just made for constant entertainment, and that with all of the comforts made it really feel like we were staying in a home.
- The Nene are fabulous! They came right up to us while we were sitting out on the lanai most days and let us take pictures. They'd wander off after realizing we truly weren't going to feed them, but we typically saw them 2-4 times a day. We love wildlife so this and all of the wildlife around really added to our experience.
Overall we really liked this place, and hope to stay here again on our next visit to Kauai!"

"We visited Princeville for a family wedding. We family staying at the us with. The house perfectly located, close the St. Regis hotel and the Hanalei beaches. The house is very spacious. We had 8 people total, the 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms were exactly what we needed. Many private spaces in the backyard and in the house. Available recreational equipment in garage (bikes, bogie boards, etc. is extensive). Owner/Manager is efficient and easier to communicate with."
