Hanalei, like a local
"This is the perfect place to stay for if you're looking for the local vibe of Hanalei. Surrounded by regular homes (not the fancy rentals on the beach), you feel like you really live in Hanalei. People going to work, mowing their lawns, walking their dogs. At times you hear the local sounds of roosters crowing, dogs barking, waves crashing, surfers walking past. Other times it is nearly silent. Super clean suite with a well appointed kitchen. Having beach towels, surfboards, boogie board and beach chairs at your fingertips is wonderful. The temperature was perfect since it has excellent cross ventilation. Very easy communication with Jana & Brydan who were awesome hosts! (There when you need them but gave you lots of privacy.) I highly highly highly recommend Hanalei Beach Suite!"

"My husband and I returned to Kauai again for another unplugged/relaxing getaway. This time instead of 2 weeks at the Westin we decided to try 1 week at the Westin and one week at this VRBO home which is a short walk from the hotel....unfortunately for the Westin they have lost our business. This house was ideal for us and our friends, well equipt with every amenity one could need. Great beds and linens, lots of towels, every kitchen gadget imaginable. This house presented even better than the photos show, great vaulted ceilings, so spacious. Only one complaint, the pool lounge chairs were better at the Westin, these at the house are "OK" but are definitely form over function. They look cool/zen/chic but it's hard to sit up and read without sliding down. That said, the pool is AWESOME!!!!! Cannot wait to return."

"The Teak Room was the perfect choice for our stay in what we consider the most tropical, lush part of the Island. The room itself is spacious, cozy, clean and well appointed with everything you need. Tastefully decorated with traditional Hawaiian furniture, bedding and wall art. Wonderful jacuzzi tub and outdoor shower! There's a small but fully equipped kitchen to make a meal as well as a bbq. A private front porch in a tropical setting to have your morning coffee. Surrounded by lush vegetation and right across the street from a beautiful secluded beach! This is truly a gem!!"

"We would highly recommend this condo for anyone wishing to stay in Princeville. From the moment of our arrival until our reluctant departure, we enjoyed the amazing views from the large picture windows. We were a group of two retired couples. The size of this condo made it easy to share our space. This condo was very tastefully decorated with high end furniture. It had a very open airy feel. We had cooling ocean breezes every day, so we didn't need air conditioning.
The kitchen had all the essential cooking spices and utensils needed to cook delicious meals. We used the grill several times and the oven to bake banana bread. It was great to cook while looking out at the beautiful, blue ocean. We spotted whales almost every day.
This complex has a pleasant pool area that we took advantage of many times. The potted plants and landscaping created a very appealing ambiance. I enjoyed the fact that they had lounge chairs with an umbrella so that I could read in the shade while my sun loving husband could soak up the rays. The water temperature in the salt water pool made it comfortable to swim.
There is walking access to both Pali Ke Kua and Pu'u Poa beaches. Be aware that both paths involve stairs. The condo has beach chairs, boogie boards, and a cooler in the closet on the lanai.
Paul was great to work with. He was always prompt with his responses to any of our questions. If we every get to Kauai again, we would definitely stay here. Book with confidence!"
