  • Kauai - a majestic island with a perfect home

"Perfect is indeed the word to describe this gorgeous home. It is so roomy, that even a large group will find plenty of living rooms, dens, nooks, to hang out in. The location is excellent also. When staying in Kauai, it’s nice to be located in Princeville since there are so many fun activities, beaches, hikes, and stores nearby. The neighborhood of The House of Dreams is large and filled with beautiful homes and grounds, fun to bicycle through. Sitting on the lanai and listening to all the birds was so tranquil – a very enjoyable memory. The kitchen is a chef’s dream, large and filled with every necessity. The bedrooms were all large and comfortable. It was simply amazing to enter this lovely home, and walk from room to room, enjoying every facet of the entire house. Our group was unfamiliar with the different islands; we are so glad that we chose Kauai. It is truly the Garden State. We enjoyed sunshine each of our seven days in February. Kauai has the most striking scenery – majestic mountains and lush greenery. We would feel fortunate to stay in the House of Dreams again. Glenn is the best host, always answering every question quickly and courteously. Thank you Glenn for providing for everything a person could desire on a much needed vacation. I am so grateful and look forward to a return visit."

"This is an amazing property! So glad we chose it - there was plenty of room for 6 adults and a 10 year old. Everything was available we could possibly want. I prepared many meals in the wonderful kitchen - oh what a view. For us it was a grand vacation - plenty to do close by and then secluded house with amazing views. If you chose this property plan on time at the house - so relaxing. Our concierge was very helpful with arranging activities, this took away some of my stress. Once again this is a wonderful place to rest and enjoy Kauai"

  • sweet location

"This is a two-story small house on the property of the main house. It is THE closest house to the famous Hanalei Beach pier. This was perfect for a novice surfer because the best beginner and intermediate waves (October) are immediately to the right of the pier and further out beyond the break.(The other quality waves are far far left on the other side of the bay). I carried my board from the house, through the yard to the beach and right there is the pier. BOOM! Accomodations are nice, clean, stylish, and updated. Their is an a/c unit upstairs in the master which was essential. Internet is hardwired. That's great for laptops there was no WiFi which isn't ideal for smart phone use. But our carrier reception was fine. Noise: ALL of the houses on the single street that run parallel to the beach near the pier have mild road traffic noise from surfers driving to the public beach 2 lots over. However, not once did it disturb us while we were sleeping or trying to sleep. Why? Because most people don't surf at night or early in the morning. During the day? Who cares. We were never home! We were in the water, hiking, boating...anything but staying home inside. Once or twice we took a daytime nap and the wind in the palm fronds or a/c unit pleasantly drowns out most of the road noise. Some nice features are an outdoor hot water shower and spigot near the front door to wash sand off your feet. Sounds simple but not all homes have this and it's realllllllllly nice. Ie, we'd come off the ocean and beach, quickly rinse down, and then hop in our Jeep to grab some lunch or groceries. Town's infrastructure is about a 2 minute drive away. Nice. The owners are very nice and responsive to our needs. The blender (making smoothies) was broken and they replaced it the same day we notified them. Our deposit was promptly refunded. Quality folks."

  • Our First Trip to Kauai

"Such a cute little condo! This was perfect for us. We were able to fix a quickie breakfast and have coffee on the balcony, then head out for our day on the island. When we weren't up to going out to dinner, we were able to heat up any doggie bag items we might have had and relax near "home". Wonderful location with easy access to beaches and amenities. Highly recommend!"
