Our Favorite Place
""Dear Ron and Gloria: We just spent a full month in paradise! This was our 9th trip to Kauai and our third stay (in a row!) in your glorious condo!!! Thank you for sharing your corner of paradise with lucky and blessed folks like us! There is no place else we would have wanted to stay than right here in Pu Poa 211! God bless you two and hope we can meet some day. Aloha! and Mahalo with love.”"

"That is the best word to describe how we felt when we arrived at Pu'u Poa. The pictures do not do it justice! The condo is absolutely beautiful and has everything your could possibly need for your stay. In fact we went to Foodland before checking everything out and bought laundry detergent...it was provided...seriously everything you need! We definitely needed the AC at night in the master bedroom (June), but otherwise the unit cooled nicely with windows and doors open in the evening. We loved the Na Pali Catamaran snorkel trip - definitely a must do! Enjoyed Hanalei Gourmet and Tahiti Nui in Hanalei - great food! Gary was wonderful - answering my questions along the way, providing an informational packet with travel tips, activity and restaurant recommendations, etc. and checking in after arrival to make sure we were happy with the unit - great customer service! We will be returning and will recommend to anyone we know who will be visiting Kauai."

"My wife and I absolutely loved staying here for our honeymoon! The accommodations are stunning and very comfortable. The view of the garden from the claw-foot tub is relaxing. We also really loved feeding our fruit and veggie scraps to Milk the goat and Petunia the pig, watching the peacocks in our backyard with their chicks, and looking up at the infinite stars at night. The location at the end of a quiet road outside of Kiluaea could not have been better. We could easily go into Hanalei or Princeville for dinner, or zip to the other side of the island to explore Waimea Canyon or a helicopter tour out of Lihue. Cannot recommend this place enough!"

"We just got back from staying at this house. The location on the North Shore was great and the house was pristine. It is well stocked and the supply room has chairs, snorkeling equipment, boogie boards and shoes to walk on the lava flats. My only negative comment and the reason why I could not give the location five stars is that the internet was horrendous. The speed was less than .25 MB/sec. I could not remotely access my office. Living on the east coast, one of the reasons why I like to vacation west is that the time change allows me to get up very early and work several hours before I start the day. This was impossible and unfortunately, like most people, my business requires a few hours of work per day. What was interesting is that the house had Cable TV. I called the cable company and they stated that they offered speeds of up to 50 MB/sec. I found it odd that a multi-million dollar house would have such terrible internet in this day and age.
We were at the house for one week and we had 4 good days of weather. I would come back in the early summer for better weather. The water temperature was about 75 degrees when we snorkeled."
