  • Great Quiet Location

"The listing and photos accurately reflect the condo, although the hardwoods have been replaced with tile. It's a spacious place and we enjoyed using it as our home base. Clean and well kept including the grounds. the bluff views were amazing and there's a great area right below the condo (steep hike) with a cave and beautiful water and lava rocks (no sandy beach) we enjoyed that area. It was our first time to Kauai and I would only wanted to stay on the North shore, Hanelei is adorable and all of the beaches around (Anini, Ke'e, Tunnels, Hanalei, Haena )are to die for. You do feel a little "disconnected" to things because the place is situated in a condo community and having to drive to the beach, but the upside to that is that you've got a peaceful home base away from crowds. We would definitley stay here again! I really have no complaints, the large washer and dryer was a nice thing to have and I liked the bottom location. The balcony on the third floors might provide more a view (although you have a great view!) it could be very hot as you'd be totally exposed to the sun, I think that might even be the case on the 2nd floor balcony. It was really nice to just step out he sliding glass door and walk to the bluff's edge to catch the sunset or see the amazing water/reefs below. We did see a turtle in the cave when we went right before dusk one evening. I wish there would have been one more couch (there was definitely room), but that's really it! Family with older teens I think would enjoy this most."

  • The absolute perfect home for our time in Kauai!

"Pama Hale was the absolute perfect home for our time in Kauai. The "wooden cathedral" of a house lets in light and breezes. The entire property is a tropical paradise straight out of a movie set. The lanai makes for wonderful outdoor meals and evening stargazing. Best of all, the Moloaa beach is a three minute walk, and it is a hidden Island treasure. It was an absolute perfect stay, and we only wish we had more time to enjoy it longer."

  • One of a kind home only minutes from Ke'e Beach and Tunnels Beach

"My wife and I stayed at this house last week and had a great time. The house has a very unique tree house design and contained everything we needed for our stay. The outdoor shower was perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach. It was a great location for us because of its closeness to our favorite beach (Ke'e), the beach where we were married (Tunnels) and our favorite restaurant (Med. Gourmet). One things I should mention is that light sleepers could have an issue with the open windows. As as with most houses in this location, there is no need for air conditioning because of the breeze from the trade winds. However, to obtain the favorable breeze, we needed to keep all of the windows open (with screens). Since there are so many windows, and the ocean is far enough away that you cannot hear the waves crashing, we heard the noises of the geckos and other insects. This was not a problem for us, other than one night when we woke up due to one particularly loud croak. However if you are a light sleeper, it could wake you up. It was not a problem for us."

  • Perfect combo of a home + resort

"This condo is a fantastic and very reasonably priced place to stay. The view of the mountain is gorgeous. An ocean view is obviously great, but this one is almost as good and makes you feel like you're in a really special place. You're very close to the pool, coffee, the future gym/restaurant, and parking. You're a bit far from the beach but the golf cart service takes care of that quite easily. You get the best of both worlds here because you have a condo with a kitchen to save money on breakfast, lunch, and even dinner if you want but you also have the service and amenities of a resort (the pool is excellent and the staff is super friendly) The owner is also very responsive and helpful. She was readily available in advance via email with helpful tips about the island and during the trip via text to help with settling in. She also returned the deposit very promptly."
