  • Hanalei Bay escape

"This cottage is well-stocked and in a great location. It can be a little noisy either early morning or late night, as it's right next to public beach parking, but earplugs fixed that. The directions to arrive and get in were great and easy. The house had plenty roomy for two of us, and lots of windows and fans to keep fresh air flowing. Great washer/dryer, lots of towels and some beach chairs/boogie boards and beach umbrella to use. We love this area and the easy walk into town via beach, side street or main road allows for having a relaxing time with plenty of adventures into nature. We rarely used our rental car while in Hanalei, walking to the kayak rental place at the mouth of the river, to the Luau at Tahiti Nui, the local farmers market, to the departure point for the sunset sail around the Na Pali, and of course, across the lawn to swim every day! There was a strong smell of bleach, puddles of water on the patios and a very soggy mat by the patio door when we arrived, and no recycling instructions, which seemed odd for an environmentally aware area like this. Other than that initial impression, we had a great time and hope to come back."

  • Awesome condo, ocean front, very affordable

"Our family of 3 stayed at this unit for 8 days. Very spacious, great to have 2 baths with a teenage girl! Condo and Kitchen are very well stocked, even a teapot for non-coffee drinkers. Loved the ocean view, birds, chickens, flowers, sunsets right out the back door. Quiet and close to many beautiful beaches, hiking, golf, shopping. Nice pool with waterfall and 2 hot tubs. Concierge to help with activity planning. Great unit/great location - Hope to come back again during whale season!"

  • Close to Ke'e Beach

"My sister and I and our spouses stayed in this house for a week. We are senior citizens so I can attest to the comfort of this house. You will have to carry your suitcases to the 2nd floor if you are staying up there, but there are 2 BRs on the bottom floor as well. Being from Mississippi, we were worried about no A/C, but we opened the windows and turned on the fans and we were fine. We liked having our own bathroom and I must say that all of the bathrooms were really first class. Kitchen was top notch. Only thing missing was an electric hand mixer but we made do with what they had. This house is close to Ke'e beach -- 2 miles down the road. It is the best beach for snorkeling -- but get there early. We left the house at 8:15 and were there just in the nick of time to get a parking place in the lot, but still a walk to the beach. The house is a 30 second walk to the Kapuhi beach. We would set out our chairs at night on the sand and watch the sunsets. It was beautiful."

  • Excellent Home & Amazing Location! Perfect for Families!

"We just got back from our amazing trip to Kauai. Hale Emmalani is a perfect option for families who want to be close to everything and still relax in a peaceful home. This house is 5 minute drive from the St. Regis Hotel (you can valet park your car for free and use the hotels entrance to the beach.) Sunset here is a must. Super close to the most fabulous beaches and towns - close to stores. In the same neighborhood as Queen's Bath. House stocked with everything you need. Excellent home layout and the separate pool cabana has it own bed and bath so great for families who want some room or perfect for another couple. Everyone loved the outdoor shower! The house looks just like the photos but the location is even more beautiful - the mountains are enchanting. Cara is lovely to work with! We cannot wait to make this a recurring family destination - It's like we have our own home in Kauai! Must See's - Na Pali Coast Boat Tour- Leave from Princeville or North Shore - Hanalei, Anini, & Tunnels Beach - Princeville Ranch Ziplines tours, Queen's Bath, Sunset at the St. Regis Bar (you don't even need to buy a drink!). Enjoy - sigh!"
