  • Wonderful home away from home

"What an amazing place! Diane and Mark were great, lots of good insights into things to do and places to see. This home is in a perfect location, close to beaches and to the highway to get to all the wonderful spots in Kauai. Anything you could possibly need is provided, so nice to have multiple beach towels, cooler and beach chairs! Bed is amazing, probably the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Pool was so nice to have after a long day exploring the island. Would recommend to anyone! Mahalo Diane and Mark (PS Diane, so sorry I didn't get to see you the day I left!)"

  • Great Location

"The location and views from this house are fantastic! It is close to great restaurants, shopping and beaches. The house sits right next to the ocean providing unbeatable views and entertainment watching surfers and large turtles that are always present. We were disappointed in not being able to use the lower level bedroom due to an abundance of large cockroaches. There was also an ant problem in the kitchen. We would definitely stay in this house again if we knew that the insect problem had been taken care of."

  • Poipu Paradise

"We have just returned from our summer vacation on the Garden Isle. Our favorite spot to stay is at Alihi Lani. This is a small condo complex with the best turtle viewing and sunset viewing stretch of ocean-front. There is a private pool just off the lanai and BBQ's within steps of your kitchen. The unit is well equiped with everything from snorkles, umbrellas and chairs. The kitchen is well situated for entertaining and or just family meals. This condo is perfectly situated within walking distance (or short drive) to restaurants, shops and the best beaches in Poipu. We have been able to stay in this unit numerous times and will continue our family vacations here."

Koloa Travel Tips

Where To Stay ... Koloa condos of course!

Hawaii draws the most playful of vacationers, and for good reason. The beaches are clean and vast. A hidden treasure is the less frequented island of Kauai. It offers a full array of whatever you might be looking for in a vacation spot. Kauai vacation rentals are a superb option for your Hawaiian housing. Especially with Koloa condos; you get the best of both worlds. You have convenience to sites and restaurants as with a hotel, but also you can come and go as you like, eat in your full kitchen, or go out. You can let kids nap as you run a quick load of laundry or enjoy your own quiet pastimes. More privacy and a "feels like home" environment can be yours with a Koloa vacation home.

On Land...

Koloa is sometimes called Old Town. This is because it is the location of the first sugar plantation in Hawaii. The land was leased by King Kamehameha III in 1835, and ruins of this Hawaiian first can still be seen today. Every year the locals, celebrate with Koloa Plantation Days. They enjoy storytelling, a fair, music, and games. You can even see the still operating sugar cane plantations. Koloa condos is located such that just a short distance away on the island of Kauai you can also visit the cliffs of Napali coast or the deep Waimea canyon. You might even catch an extremely rare glimpse of the extremely endangered Kaloa.

On Sea...

The beaches of Kauai island are some of the best in Hawaii. 50 miles of beach stretch from Poipu Beach to Hanalei Bay. White sand and fewer crowds than other sites will make your beach experience supreme. Sea turtles are an entertaining plus, and the waters are crystal blue. You're sure to want to return often to Koloa vacation homes!
