  • A dream vacation!

"Our family of four (our kids are 2 and 5 years old) have stayed at this condo twice and are already planning a third trip. It is in a perfect location for access to world class beaches and sun. We saw whales while watching the sunset from the property this trip, and last trip we saw dolphins out front. Gorgeous sea turtles are everywhere! Book this one if you can!!!!"

  • Amazing Views, Spacious, Great Experience!

"We recently stayed at Shipwreck Cottage for a family wedding at the Grand Hyatt. Convenient is an understatement, we could be at the Grand Hyatt in two minutes! But was so nice to have a beautiful, spacious house to relax in, especially since we had two families staying there. Very updated and lots of amenities. LOVED the big great room/kitchen & lanai for entertaining. Our rental experience was super easy and we will definitely be back again! Everything was so updated & exceeded our expectations! We loved our mornings on the lanai, hard to decide what was more spectacular, sunrise or sunset!"

  • Best Ocean Front View in Poipu

"We stayed for 5 days in May, but wish it were 50! What a spectacular, but relaxing place to stay on Kauai! Convenient to get to all of the Kauai sites and the Poipu weather was terrific. Sometimes it rained on other parts of the island but was usually sunny in Poipu. Kuhio Shores was a great condo complex and 314 was one of the best for the view. It is only 1 of 4 in the complex with the extra "Sunset" window. Other units didn't have that and it really enhanced the experience. Mel and Pearl were very gracious with tips on Kauai restaurants and ideas for exploration around the island. Sea turtles and surfers right outside your lanai....and the snorkeling was the best right down at the little beach just a few steps away (by the Beach House restaurant). We really enjoyed our stay and would book again in a heartbeat."

  • Just What We Were Looking For

"We spent a week at this condo, sharing with another couple, and it was just about perfect for our needs. The view is amazing (lots of whales and dolphins in the winter), as the condo is steps from a rocky cliff down to the ocean. It's a short walk to a couple of little beaches in Poipu and is very convenient to Koloa and the rest of Poipu by car. The furnishings are very nice - not luxurious, but appropriate for a rental. Everything was very clean and well-maintained, with the exception of a broken appliance that was fixed right away. The bed in the master bedroom was uncomfortable, so if you have a bad back like me, use the second bedroom (which can be converted to a king bed). Bring earplugs - the waves crash loudly against the cliffs and the sound is not necessarily soothing at night! Overall, an excellent choice for a budget stay on Kaua'i. We saved a lot of money by hitting the farmers' markets and cooking fresh fish for dinner instead of eating out."
