"My husband and I found this rental by googling vacation rentals on Kauai. This was the first one I looked at and I knew immediately it was the right spot for us. The condo is beautifully furnished and was immaculate! Everything about it was ideal. The view was beautiful and the sunrises from the lanai were magnificent. Everything we needed was there. We made delicious breakfasts every morning and all the china and appliances seemed brand new! The bathroom was great. A very spacious shower for the size of the bathroom. The kingsize bed was very comfortable and the ceiling fans kept the breezes blowing. We loved hearing the sounds of the waves at night. Every morning we did the walk to Spouting Horn and several nights we walked up to the new outdoor shops and had dinner. We like being in Poipu as it is the sunniest location but we also drove to Waimea and hiked many of the trails and we also hiked the interior and up on the North Shore. We had a great time and loved coming home to this condo and relaxing on the lanai with a cocktail. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for privacy and a home-like atmosphere."

"This was a truly wonderful paradise get-away and the hosts could not have been easier to work with in planning our vacation. The location was perfect and within walking distance to shops, snorkeling and restaurants. We were able to enjoy watching the surfers and take in the sunsets each evening before heading out to dinner. The condo was a great place to come back to after an extremely fun and busy day on the island. We will definitely want to come back! Thanks Ryan and Avigale for sharing your lovely condo with us."

"My husband and I just returned form Kauai. Our stay was nothing less than wonderful. Room #213 completely met our expectations. As mentioned by others, the condo is well stocked. If we were to nit pick we would say that the lanai is not as private as we would have liked. From the bedroom be sure to pull the blinds when the neighbors are on their lanai (unless you don't mind them gazing in at you while you are on the bed.) If you have 4 people in the room the only bathroom is in the master. Your other guests would have to walk through the master to use the bathroom. Our favorite activities included the bike ride along Coconut Coast, canoeing Wailua River, rafting on the Zodiak to Na'Pali (rough on the body but worth the adventure), eating all kinds of fish (some I have never heard of) and drinking Mai Tais. If you are a movie buff it is fun to get the book on Movies made in Kauai and find the locations. Best Mai Tai came from Tahiti Nui where a scene with George Clooney and Beau Bridges took place in the movie Descendents. Apparently Beau Bridges is a regular as he lives nearby. Beautiful sunsets from the Beach House across the street (snag a beach chair and a beverage and head on over around 7:00 for a spot on the grass). Breath taking rainbows almost everyday. And then there are the roosters....get ready for the 4 a.m. wake up call. I personally found them quite amusing. If you are looking for a trip to Kauai, then without hesitation I recommend you stay here! Aloha"

"Where do I start. The unit itself was clean and everything was in perfect working order. My wife really loved the built ins and decorations throughout. We had use of the snorkel gear, beach chairs, boogie boards, and other items in the gear closet. You couldn't ask for a better location. The reason we wanted to stay in Kuhio was because my niece was getting married at the Beach House during our stay and everyone in our group was jealous that we had the best accommodations. The views from the living room and lanai are awesome. We saw numerous turtles bobbing around in the cove every day. The breeze coming through the condo was really nice and it was never hot inside. After our week-long stay at Chris and Becky's condo, we stayed a week on Maui. If I had it to do over, I would have opted to stay the second week in #106 at Kuhio Shores Condominiums! Thanks for you hospitality Chris and Becky. Next time we are in Kauai, we'll use your place again. The Cook Family"
