  • Perfect Place to Getaway!

"I have traveled quite a bit and spent time on a number of the islands, always looking for something that is reasonable, but nice as well. This property fulfilled all of our needs. We arrived in the evening and had no issues with checking in. Everything was waiting for us. First impressions of the condo was that of a well taken care of property that had been carefully furnished. The decore was very nice with a true island feel, with high quality furnishings. Loved being able to sit on the balcony in the morning with a cup of coffee and hear the ocean waves...jetlag had me up at 3:00 am, but it was nice to just have a quiet place to relax with the fresh ocean air. Once our day began, we walked down to the beach. Not too far of a walk, but you have to leave the property and walk down. We walked by the ocean on the property, which had some awesome views of the waves crashing on the rocks, but no way to swim off of there unless you were a turtle. Took us about 10 minutes to walk the beach, but later in the week we drove down so we could leave the beach and go to some lunch at one of the market areas just down the road. There were boogie boards and snorkle equipment in the room, so we did not have to spend anything on renting from a place on the beach, which was also really nice. Eating out can get expensive, but the nice part of renting a condo that is fully furnished is that the kitchen had the necessities for us to cook for the family. We managed to find a fish market and pick up fresh mahi mahi, which we grilled on the gas grills provided on the property. There is a dishwasher, so that made cleanup a lot easier. Played 2 rounds of golf during this trip. Bring your clubs, the Poipu Bay Course and Princeville are both awesome. Just something about playing golf on ocean holes that just makes that special. The Poipu Bay course is minutes from the property, Princeville is on the north end of the island, but also worth the drive. Like any trip to Hawaii, it never seems to be long enough. There is a full washer and dryer in the condo, so you can avoid flying home with a suitcase full of dirty clothes. Just not an option you would have in a regular hotel room, just very convenient. We will definitely keep this condo on our list for future trips!"

  • Incredible view!

"We absolutely love the Kiahuna resort in the winter, but it's probably great in the summer too. The weathers better on the side of the island as well as the ocean conditions in the winter. The view from this condo is incredible. We made sure we were back to the condo every evening to see the sunset. The owners were great to work with and the condo itself was nicely decorated. The only negatives would be that the condo isn't well equipped if you plan on eating in, like BQ tongs and other cooking utensils. I'm not sure if it's resort policy, but there wasn't any basic cooking supplies either like oils, vinegar, sugar and limited seasonings in condo. I know we left a lot, so maids must clear it all out. One last thing is the docking station for resort staff is close, so you can hear them at 6am each morning laughing talking and dropping cleaning supplies outside each condo that need services that day. All in all we will definitely stay at this condo again, none of those things were a big deal to us. This was the best place and location we have stayed in 20 years of traveling!"

  • Great Place for Business and Leisure

"I was in Kuaui for business, and was accompanied by my husband, son and daughter in law. This condo community was pleasing from the moment we drove in - very well landscaped, not "cookie cutter". As promised, it truly is just steps from the beach, and the pool overlooks the beach (just across the road). The condo itself was welcoming, and the basket of Hawaiian fruits and goodies waiting for us was appreciated! There are stairs, and the two bedrooms and baths are on the bottom floor. The entire condo is well decorated, comfortable, and we had no problem with wifi access. As are many places in Hawaii, there is not air conditioning, and we slept with windows open - plus there are fans provided. I would HIGHLY recommend this property for it's location as well as just being a beautiful place to stay - and the price was so much more reasonable than many of the places I checked into!"
