"Our family and friends (group of 8) loved our stay at Hale Mana Kai. The size of the house allowed us to come together as a group but also allow us our own time without feeling that everyone is on top of you. Our group consisted of 5 girls and 3 guys so the 5 full bathrooms and outside shower came in handy when we were getting ready. The wall of folding doors in the living room made us feel as if we were on our lanai the entire time and made the house seem larger than it already is. We enjoyed the nice short walk to Shipwreck Beach almost every night. A nice 3-5 minute drive to Poipu Beach helped make it our favorite beach. The location is within 5-30 minutes of tons of island activities, dining and shopping. We loved our nearly daily trips to Old Koloa.
The kitchen has basically everything you need. We were able to prepare breakfast and dinner almost everyday and enjoy them at the large dining room table. The BBQ grill was conveniently located directly off the kitchen and we used it almost every night.
The manager, Allan, was extremely nice and helpful. He even gave us several tips for our island adventures.
We hope to be able to stay here again in the future."

"We absolutely love the Kiahuna resort in the winter, but it's probably great in the summer too. The weathers better on the side of the island as well as the ocean conditions in the winter. The view from this condo is incredible. We made sure we were back to the condo every evening to see the sunset. The owners were great to work with and the condo itself was nicely decorated. The only negatives would be that the condo isn't well equipped if you plan on eating in, like BQ tongs and other cooking utensils. I'm not sure if it's resort policy, but there wasn't any basic cooking supplies either like oils, vinegar, sugar and limited seasonings in condo. I know we left a lot, so maids must clear it all out. One last thing is the docking station for resort staff is close, so you can hear them at 6am each morning laughing talking and dropping cleaning supplies outside each condo that need services that day. All in all we will definitely stay at this condo again, none of those things were a big deal to us. This was the best place and location we have stayed in 20 years of traveling!"

"This unit is really lovely. The lanai has a beautiful view. I loved seeing the newlyweds getting photographed everynight at the resort right next to complex! We climbed the rocks all around the surrounding property, took a lovely walk to the beach every morning there are paved trails everywhere. One morning while snorkeling at Poipu beach I ended up right next to a pretty monk seal. She ended up staying with us for about 30 minutes. We stayed for 15 days and I was able to snorkel almost everyday, we walked everyday, went on 3 beautiful hikes, went on the funniest ATV TOUR and relaxed a lot! I cooked quite a bit and the kitchen had everything, the grill is literally 3 minutes away at the pool and situated very nicely. The bedroom is next to the road but honestly with ceiling fan on we were only slightly bothered by the road noise. The bathroom was lovely...really! I found a small local market in the old town Sueoka Store, they have everything in small sizes fresh veggies, fruit..just loved it. The family that run it have been around forever. I rented beach chairs and snorkeling gear from local family right around the corner at KIMOS--they were also wonderful, they have bikes and boards too. You can return items even when they are closed! I had one issue and was able to speak to the owner and he was able to assist very quickly. We have been to Maui 7 times this was our first trip to Kauai and it was beyond beautiful. Every restaurant we went to were recommended by previous visitors and they were all very good. Be sure to read the 2 journals were visitors have left thank you's there is a ton of information in them. Can't wait to return and feel very lucky to have found this unit. PS..we had no problems with sticky floors at all and we were able to keep a cool breeze running through the unit with no problem."

"Our son, wife, and 3 young children stayed here for a week during our family reunion. We were surprised to see how updated and beautifully furnished this unit was compared to many of the others at the Kiahuna Plantation. Very spacious 2- story, 2 bedroom condo which easily accommodated their family. We've visited the Hawaii islands on many occasions and found the Kiahuna to be our favorite.....can't think of a better place to spend time, especially with children and this unit is truly a gem. This unit is a bargain for what you pay and what you get compared to others at Kiahuna. Aloha..."
