"Our first impression when we walked in the door was "wow"! Even though there were only two of us, the upstairs master suite was great to have, with a large bathroom and it's own lanai. The kitchen had everything we needed, and then some. We used the deck off the living room every day, even if the ocean view was a bit elusive. Access was easy, and parking was never an issue.
As far as location, it's an easy walk to the nearest beach, and a short drive to a couple of others. Restaurants and shopping require a short drive, with plenty of interesting options. During our stay, it seemed like the best weather was on the south and west sides of Kauai, so the location even better in that respect, and the Waimea Canyon is an easy drive. We were able to see Hawaiian Monk Seals and sea turtles at a nearby beach. Unfortunately, the seas were a bit rough during our stay, so we didn't take the cruise up the Na Pali coast.
When we come back, we will definitely consider staying here again, and would recommend it to others who want a nice quiet place to stay that isn't too remote."

"My wife and I spend a week at the Kuhio shores condo it was just wonderful, the condo was so lovely well maintained with everything a visitor would need and the views incredible. I am so glad to say after our 4th visit to Kauai we have finally found a place we would rebook without any concern, I think if you are considering a condo for the Poipu area and want to be on the ocean with great views, in a comfortable home then this is the place no need to look further. Just book and go and enjoy you won't be disappointed. We didn't get to see the sun set but the moon over the ocean at night was just incredible, we would sit outside just looking up to the night sky, peaceful and romantic for sure.. This is a great place for home away from home for your vacation without any doubt."

"Our family really enjoyed the ambiance and privacy of this home, which is set in a private neighborhood on the Kiahuna Golf Course.
It had all the amenities that you'd expect and felt very comfortable for our group of 4 adults.
The pool was well maintained and a nice place to hang out with the tradewinds blowing.
While a bit of a walk to the nearest beach, it was relatively close to a few nice restaurants and Koloa Town.
We would certainly return."

"We really enjoyed this condo - it is very well located and very well maintained. We're Hawaii and condo/VRBO vets and everything in the description is spot on. The kitchen is very well equipped (although we didn't actually cook very much), the master bath is great, the bed comfortable. Poipu feels more like "old Hawaii" and while we like the local beaches and restaurants, it's an easy drive from this condo to Waimea/Hanapepe as well as the north west towns. (BTW, if you're in Poipu on a Friday, the Art Walk in Hanapepe is small totally local and awesome!)
Many thanks to Ann, Frank and family for allowing strangers to rent their Kauai home!!
