  • Could not have been better

"Beautiful condo, really great view. Quiet building - we never heard anything except the ocean. This is a great location - very close to Poipu Beach, less than 5 min drive to dining and shopping, but still feels out of the way. You are close to literally everything except the north shore. Stay here and make a day trip to the north shore. The owners really have thought of everything. Every time we said "I really wish this place had a..." we found it. Plenty of beach gear - chairs, towels, boogie boards, cooler, beach toys. Kitchen has pretty much everything you would need - cookware, knives, gadgets, etc. Bathrooms stocked with shampoo, soaps etc and full bottles, not hotel size. Owner was friendly, prompt and helpful. That has not always been my experience with vacation rentals."

  • Beautiful Condo with a STUNNING View

"My husband and I stayed at this Sunset Kahili condo from July 25 through August 4, 2014. It was perfect in every way! The rooms were bright, airy, and comfortable...but best of all was the stunning view. We enjoyed many peaceful hours reading our books on the lanai. The condo complex at Sunset Kahili was exactly what we'd hoped: Quiet, clean and conveniently located. It's about a 5-minute walk to Poipu Beach. We even walked to Keoki's Paradise restaurant (about 25 minutes away) one evening, which is also near Roy's restaurant, an excellent gelateria and a small convenience store. The condo itself provided everything we needed and more, including plenty of towels, washer/dryer, wifi, fans, and even some snorkel gear and beach chairs. There were also some extra toiletries, including sunscreen, shampoo, and insect repellant. The TV is a beautiful HD flatscreen, better than our home TV ;) Although there's no air conditioning, the temperature in the condo was very comfortable, especially with the use of the ceiling fans, and the wonderful cross-breeze that we had when all of the windows were open. The bed itself was very wide and cushy. One thing to note is that it might be on the shorter side for people who are quite tall (my husband and I are both under 5 feet 9 inches), so if you're on the taller side, it might be worth confirming that the bed will be long enough for your comfort. The sofas and lanai seating were all very comfortable, as well as being attractive. It's clear that the owners of this beautiful condo have put a lot of thought into providing everything that will make their guests have a relaxing and enjoyable visit to the island. We would truly LOVE to stay in this condo again in the future! Mahalo for a fantastic get-away :)"

  • Perfect Vacation Condo!

"My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 7-year wedding anniversary. We could not have found a better condo location. The condo was well equipped with towels, Frommers and Fodor's guide books for day trip planning, snorkel gear, and chairs that were perfect for sunset and surfer watching by the Beach House restaurant next door. We appreciated the condo keys being left with the rental car company so we didn't have to make an extra stop at the realty company, as we've had to do with rentals in the past. We enjoyed starting each day with morning coffee on the lanai. We saw monk seals on the beach by the Beach House and sea turtles at the beach by Brennecke's. We enjoyed wonderful restaurants and meals (Beach House, Brennecke's, Grand Hyatt's Tidepools, Living Foods market, Lappert's ice cream, Kauai Island Brewing Company, Olympic Cafe), hikes (Sleeping Giant, Na Pali Coast), and the helicopter tour (we went with Inter-Island for the breathtaking no-door experience). We were happy to stumble upon a farmers market near Princeville (on our way to the St Regis for a cocktail after the Na Pali hike) and loved the fresh coconut that was sliced open for us. We also enjoyed walking to Spouting Horn from the condo, although it was pretty hot and father than we thought :) This location was perfect to access all we wanted to do on the island. I would highly recommend this condo!"

  • Kauai Gem!

"The best thing to say about Mike and Mariam is that it is obvious they want their guest to thoroughly enjoy their visit to Kauai! And that we did. From the initial contact through to our arrival at an extremely well equipped condo to the rccommendations to the final checkout they have strived to make your stay pleasant, easy and very enjoyable. They provide beach equipment in the condo like boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach chairs, beach toys for the younger guests, cooler and a beach umbrella with separate screw into the sand base. The parking is close and free with a dedicated parking lot and a space for every condo in our building. The unit has everything you need. Once again a perfect stay. Thank you Mike and Mariam."
