"This was a great house, we had two families staying here and it was plenty big enough. The kids found that the beach just out front was the best boogie boarding, and turtles feeding off to the left of the house all day. Humpbacks could be seen sitting in our chairs from the screened porch.
The screened porch was awesome!!! We didn't even sit in the living room, this was a great spot to relax and enjoy the view.
The house was well stocked with tons of towels and all things you would need on vacation, cooking or other wise.
The house could use some updating, but with the view and location you forget about that instantly!!"

"We just rented the 2 cottages for our destination wedding at shipwreck beach and it was a perfect fit for our group. And thank goodness for the AC! The separation is ideal since we had small kids in one cottage yet we just a lanai away from the others. We walked to the beach every day...the location was so perfect! Everyone had such a great time and raved about how great the house. We would definitely rent it again!
Just be prepared to rent your own boogie boards since the ones at the house are pretty beat up."

"Our entire family agreed that we couldn't have found a more perfect home for our Poipu vacation. This spacious home is full of light, the sounds of the waves and surrounded by lovely flowering landscaping. The furnishings and décor impart the spirit of Kauai while being comfortable and conducive to family gathering and conversation. Each of the bedrooms offer plenty of space for a little private time or a nap, and with four bathrooms, there was never any waiting to get a shower or bath. As is mentioned in numerous reviews, the location of the house is ideal. We especially loved that the entry is on a side street that has much less traffic than the main drive along the shore, which was less worrisome for us with an active 2 year old. With numerous outdoor seating options, there is always a place with shade or sun, and the yard was always active with birds. Having a garage was handy as well, and we found everything we needed there, such as beach chairs, coolers and toys. This house is so easy to be in..... everything is where you'd think it might be, the fan and light switches are all labeled to make comfort control easy, and the living room is well stocked with music, games and videos. I was especially glad that we didn't have to lug our dominoes all the way from the mainland! We're already talking about our next trip to Poipu, but won't buy the plane tickets until we book this beautiful home."

"My boyfriend & I recently stayed at this amazing house for 6 nights, and let me just start by saying on the morning we left, I literally stood on the deck & cried! I so did not want to leave this gorgeous house, or this beautiful island. This house made our vacation - it is incredible! Probably a bit big for just the 2 of us, but we loved it! The kitchen had EVERYTHING you could ever need & we cooked breakfast most mornings. The master bedroom was to die-for - omg - that shower!! The bedroom itself was huge too & the bed comfortable. We drank our coffee in the mornings out on the table outside & would usually come home in the afternoon after exploring all day & drink beers there too! There is a partial ocean view & a great mountain view. And of course, the pool...WOW! Actually bigger than I imagined & so perfect each day for a dip. The garage also had a ton of beach stuff! We used the boogie boards a couple of times - very nice to have that stuff. We were able to walk to the Hyatt one night for drinks & also walked to Brennecke's for dinner. House is pretty close to Koloa town, which had the Big Save Market we did some shopping at, and also another yummy restaurant we had pizza at called Pizzetta (very good pizza). Communication with Chad, the property manager was so easy too. He called the day before we left concerned b/c the AC had broken. We got there & while it was hot, we actually grew to like the AC not being on! We had the windows & doors open while we were there & it was windy & just felt so tropical. The AC actually didn't get fixed till our last day, but honestly, it was a non-issue for us (and trust me, my guy is not a hot weather fan). This trip & the house was a splurge for us, but I would do it again in a heartbeat. We had the best time & this house made it so special. Would for sure think of staying here again - I have zero complaints - it was just lovely."
