  • Everything was perfect!

"hank you for a delightful stay during our recent trip to Poipu Beach. We loved the location so close to the beach. This was the perfect place for two couples to fully enjoy Kauai! We never tired of watching the sunsets from the hot tub and then barbecuing on the nearby gas grill for dinner. Gale was very helpful and saved us money by making reservations for our luau and helicopter. Her dinner recommendations were the best! We’re already planning a trip next year."

  • The perfect location.

"Aloha! What a great getaway! Our families (6 adults, 1 child) met for a vacation in Kauai in honor of our parents 50th wedding anniversary. The house is located on the island's south shore in the town of Po`ipū. This was a great location for us as there were close beaches, restaurants and markets. We did day trips to the west and north shores and also visited Allerton Gardens (Wonderful tour! Take bug spray to the gardens.). We saw seals and turtles, had fun snorkeling, giggled at chickens and relaxed on amazing beaches. The house was great! The tall ceilings and picture windows overlooking the ocean present a magnificent view! If you look to the right from the main lanai you can see Spouting Horn. If you look to the left there is a small beach (several minutes walking distance). The lanai was the perfect spot on early mornings--and sunsets were spectacular. The house was very comfortable for our families, and the main floor open gathering area that opens to the kitchen was a great place to relax! The pool was the perfect late afternoon spot after a day of sightseeing. The bedroom on the main floor has it's own porch, and the lower bedrooms open up to the pool area. When researching to book this home on vrbo, we read reviews and looked at many options. Gale was quick to respond and helped us coordinate the best dates. Once we had set up the booking, Gale sent us information on keys and access. This has been a good experience for us, and I would recommend it to others. Mahalo!"

  • Comfortable, cozy and convenient

"Just stayed here for a week in this cozy home. We could have stayed another week. House has has a nice layout for two families and was centrally located. There is a great ceiling fan in living room and all bedrooms which was a nice touch. This made sleeping for us and the kids comfortable. When we opened all the windows a nice breeze would flow through the house. Our kids loved all the beach toys and wagon. We will be back soon!"

  • Last minute reservation for 3 nights.

"I and my wife, daughter, son-in-law, and infant grandson booked this unit as a last minute addition to the beginning of our stay on Kauai rather than book a hotel room. We decided to come over 3 days early until the arrival of our son and his family. After three days we moved to another house near the Sheraton for the remaining 11 days of our trip. I am not one to give glowing or flowery reviews, but I cannot say enough good about the property and ESPECIALLY the owners. We were contacted about a week or more before our arrival date and informed that there would be construction going on next door and that he was totally unaware that it was going to start. They offered a full refund with no penalties if we wished to cancel. If we did stay, a discount on the cost of our stay would be applied when damage deposit was refunded. We went ahead and stayed and the construction was no problem with us at all. In fact we had more noise at the house we moved to after this rental as it backed up to Poipu Rd. We were wishing we were back at this beautiful and secluded location. Although beach access is not direct and you must walk around to get there, we did not find this a problem. Baby Beach is a great place to take young children. We had an infant with us and if we had too much to carry, we simply drove around. There was never a problem finding a parking place. The property is beautifully decorated and extremely well maintained. My wife and I are from a small and remote commercial fishing town in Alaska of around 1800 population. Besides the beauty of the mountains and the sea, what makes us really love it here are the people. Although I have never met these owners or even talked to them on the phone I feel they are like the citizens of our town. Honest and caring. I just want to say thanks and that we WILL be doing business with you again."
