  • The best vacation of my life!

"My husband and I came to Kauai for the first time last year and stayed at the Sheraton. He hated the entire trip so much that I vacationed on my own! I came back to the island with my sister and had such a good time that he felt guilty, so he decided to try one more time. He found this condo by himself, did all the research and then booked it. This week was heaven! This condo is just perfect, I loved having the patio for coffee and then just walking out to the water! Beautiful view, it's comfy inside with everything you need and more, they even included an umbrella and beach toys. We already decided to book again next year, same condo! The end unit makes a big difference as the breeze comes thru extra windows in the kitchen and bedroom and is was very hot and muggy during our stay."

  • Awesome spot on Poipu Beach!!!

"At first, I was a little hesitant to rent this unit since there were no reviews but I am SO glad I did!!! The owner was great to deal with and phone calls/e-mails were returned promptly. The location of this condo is top notch (1st building off beach!) and we loved hearing the waves as we fell asleep each night. The amenities in the unit are simple but all we needed. I thought the layout was a little quirky because of a 2nd sink off the hallway but we were glad it was there. My husband and I didn't have to share a sink!! We could see the ocean from the dining room table. The great lawn that unit 183 opens onto is breathtaking and super fun for children to run and play. There is a beach shack right next to the condo where you can exchange towels and pickup beach chairs each day. I believe you can also rent snorkel gear there too. Outrigger manages the property on site and everything was handled smoothly, including a towel exchange mid-week. The owner arranged for Outrigger to provide us with a high chair and pack-n-play ($5 per night) for our toddler during our stay. This owner is a member of the Athletic Club across the street so we were able to use their pool, exercise equipment, etc. It's a short walk from the unit. There is no AC in the condo but being an end unit, there are blinds on 3 sides of the unit so we got the cross breeze from the tradewinds. There are ceiling fans in the bedroom and family room that make it comfortable. The couch can fold out to a bed if needed. There are 2 TV's in the unit, boogie boards, umbrella & beach chair as well as a book collection to borrow from. Each morning, we set out on a walk and had a gorgeous view of the coastline in both directions. I honestly don't know if we'll go anywhere else in Hawaii after staying at Kiahuna. It's a little piece of paradise."

  • Just Right

"We stayed at Kiahuna Plantation for 7 days and it was great. It was easy to get to from the airport. The apartment was clean, spacious, and close to the beach, shopping, and snorkeling. We felt totally safe and the staff was friendly but unobtrusive. Unfortunately we did not try the restaurant there, so I cannot rate."

  • Great Location!!! Gorgeous!

"We stayed for a week in Gregg's condo and we loved the condo and the location! We found everything we needed in the condo (including a surf board) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We were within easy walking distance of the beach and our 2nd floor lanai had swaying palms over it and beautiful flowing lush greenery and flowering bushes to look out on while we enjoyed the trade winds and a cup of coffee! The beach is a short walk on a path through beautiful grounds, just around the corner from this condo! The sounds of the birds in the morning was simply incredible! The section of Poipu beach that fronts the beautiful grounds of Kiahuna Plantation is the best on the island and we spent a lot of time on all sides of the island checking out beaches! We stayed cool in this unit even when the trade winds subsided a couple days thanks to large efficient ceiling fans and the condo's louvers on all sides! Mahalo to the owners of this lovely unit at the Kiahuna Plantation! Many alohas for sharing it with us!"
