  • Perfect getaway

"We have been here a few times and LOVE the location of this unit. So close to the grass and water.... Early morning runs along the water whichever way you want to go... great access to the chairs and towels for our relaxation and recovery.... and lots of choices for meals. Either in or out.... And we always get great weather.... even when it rains it seems to happen at night... Do the owners of the unit get credit for that?"

  • Beautiful condo, great location, we can't wait to come back!!!

"Over the years we have stayed in several different units at the Kiahuna and this is by far our favorite. Newly remodeled with an open kitchen and an ocean view from the lanai. The unit has all the comforts of home and we would highly recommend renting this home away from home. The owners, Paul & Dean, also provided us with current information on everything to do around the island. We would love to make this an annual trip!!!"

  • Awesome spot on Poipu Beach!!!

"At first, I was a little hesitant to rent this unit since there were no reviews but I am SO glad I did!!! The owner was great to deal with and phone calls/e-mails were returned promptly. The location of this condo is top notch (1st building off beach!) and we loved hearing the waves as we fell asleep each night. The amenities in the unit are simple but all we needed. I thought the layout was a little quirky because of a 2nd sink off the hallway but we were glad it was there. My husband and I didn't have to share a sink!! We could see the ocean from the dining room table. The great lawn that unit 183 opens onto is breathtaking and super fun for children to run and play. There is a beach shack right next to the condo where you can exchange towels and pickup beach chairs each day. I believe you can also rent snorkel gear there too. Outrigger manages the property on site and everything was handled smoothly, including a towel exchange mid-week. The owner arranged for Outrigger to provide us with a high chair and pack-n-play ($5 per night) for our toddler during our stay. This owner is a member of the Athletic Club across the street so we were able to use their pool, exercise equipment, etc. It's a short walk from the unit. There is no AC in the condo but being an end unit, there are blinds on 3 sides of the unit so we got the cross breeze from the tradewinds. There are ceiling fans in the bedroom and family room that make it comfortable. The couch can fold out to a bed if needed. There are 2 TV's in the unit, boogie boards, umbrella & beach chair as well as a book collection to borrow from. Each morning, we set out on a walk and had a gorgeous view of the coastline in both directions. I honestly don't know if we'll go anywhere else in Hawaii after staying at Kiahuna. It's a little piece of paradise."

  • Great place to stay

"This was our second visit here and look forward to our next. Everything was impeccable, and I couldn’t want for more. We have rented over a dozen vacation properties in different parts of the country and this is our favorite. It is so nice to go to a place that feels like home. The owners have thought of everything. There is a washer and dryer, everything you need for a day at the beach. Towels, chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear and buckets of toys are available to guest at the cabana on the water’s edge, it’s all hassle free. The resort is situated in a quiet area close to Poipu Shopping Village where there are great restaurants and shopping. And, if you are up for a massage you can enjoy this indulgence in your room. If you have never been to Kiahuna plantation, it’s a must. It is paradise on the ocean 100% tranquil with plenty to do within walking distance or a short drive. Must do is Spouting Horn, Wailua Falls, and Hanalei Valley lookout. My guess: when you visit you will never want to leave."
