"We had a wonderful time in the condo and the area in general. The kitchen was well equipped and the living room furniture was very comfortable. The bed in the bedroom was super comfortable, the pull out couch was adequate. The bathroom had plenty of room for 4 of us to have our necessities out and not be crowded, the shower was large. It was a bit stuffy at night because we had to close the screen door to keep the ocean quiet so that my daughter could sleep in the living room, but there were plenty of fans to move air. We loved being close to snorkeling and the Beachhouse restaurant, and that view of the ocean is amazing!"

Lived in Hanapepe, Kauai as a Kid / Next Best Thing!
"Do not miss this!!!
This is the most awesome view of Kauai in a wonderful place to stay. Ocean roars about 50 feet away and three storeys down. Trade winds constantly blow through. Literally almost the southernmost point on the island. Additional must-do: Poipu Beach snorkeling; Poipu area zip-line (8 down a jungle valley); Da Crack (in Poipu - great Mexican food for surfers an amazing price); National Botanical Gardens - take the self-tour and get totally rained on and dry again; Spouting Horn - watch the wild chickens and their little chicks; Lawn in front of the the condo - like a green carpet (sit and watch the sun go down)"

"We were fortunate enough to call this our "home away from home " for a week in October, 2014. Perfectly located for sunsets from the oceanfront lanai to snorkeling or surfing in and around the bay near the Beach House Restaurant (Acid Drop Surf Spot). Clean, well decorated, fully supplied for an amazing Kauai adventure. Tip: best way to cool things down is open the screen/main doorway- the cross breeze is amazing! Rick and Kathy were wonderful to work with and have created a wonderful haven to escape the "real world". We definitely recommend this home for your island getaway."

"We spent six nights in this gem. The condo is excellent and just as described. The view was understated though. What a great place to sit and watch the sites! Multiple turtles every day, fisherman trying their luck and folks snorkeling. (Need to come back in the winter for the whales) The sunsets were great and as far as location goes, this place is fantastic. Even got to see Bethany Hamilton surfing out in front of the Beach House restaurant.
Tons to do within a 30 minute drive east or west and add another hour and you are on the north side of the island.
The communication, directions and tips given by Kevin and Molla were outstanding. Make sure you get a 4x4 or SUV because the beach out past Poipu, they recommend is not to be missed but i wouldn't try it in a car and I'm not afraid to abuse rental cars.
Convenient shopping within walking distance and really good restaurants too. The farmers market on Wed nights is a good way to get some local supplies to have for dinner. If you are pizza lover get a Brick Oven pizza about 6 miles away, best ever.
Thanks for the use of your place. Can't wait to come back and do all the things we couldn't fit into our schedule."
