  • Amazing Views, Spacious, Great Experience!

"We recently stayed at Shipwreck Cottage for a family wedding at the Grand Hyatt. Convenient is an understatement, we could be at the Grand Hyatt in two minutes! But was so nice to have a beautiful, spacious house to relax in, especially since we had two families staying there. Very updated and lots of amenities. LOVED the big great room/kitchen & lanai for entertaining. Our rental experience was super easy and we will definitely be back again! Everything was so updated & exceeded our expectations! We loved our mornings on the lanai, hard to decide what was more spectacular, sunrise or sunset!"

  • Home Away From Home

"After reviewing many places to stay in Kauai for our family Christmas vacation we decided on this home. I do not believe we could have made a better choice. It was like we teleported our own home to Kauai. We stayed with 9 adults and 3 teenagers and at no time felt crowded. There is plenty of living space and everyone had their own bed. Everything we needed was provided, from paper towels and laundry soap to beach chairs and coolers. Basically they provide all the things you would want to bring but really can't. At any one given time people were playing table tennis, playing X-Box, watching a movie and sitting in the hot tub. The living room was also large enough to accommodate all 12 of us while making daily plans etc. We were able to eat out at nice restaurants (Smith's Luau), pick up fast food (Puka Dogs, Da Crack, Bubba Burger), or cook at home (shopped at Costco, Times Market and Sueoka Store). A moderate walk or short drive to Poipu beach, taking all the gear provided (Chairs, mats, towels, coolers, sand toys, snorkel gear, water shoes) was easy and beautiful. You can be anywhere on the island within an hour from the home which made planning adventures very easy. Overall the experience was exceptional. The Cherry’s are very good to work with. The answered all the questions I had before booking the home. They gave good instructions on how to get to the home (even helped get a good rate on car rental) and provided easy access into the home. I would highly recommend this home or any of their homes to anyone looking to make this part of their trip hassle free. Feel free to check pictures of our trip and to get ahold of us with anything we may be able to help with to make your trip a good one."

  • Home away from home

"When travelling with our family of 6 (kids are college age and up), we want a place to stay that is relaxing and provides the amenities of home. This place provided that. The rooms are all quite reasonable in size and everything was clean. Having a Costco near the aiport allowed us to have most of our meals at the condo. Having a washer and dryer was a lovely extra. The balconies were a perfect place to start the mornings with coffee. The ceiling and floor fans kept the air comfortable. The only thing that wasn't working perfectly was the dishwasher, but I'm sure the owners will check this out as they are very conscientious (dishwasher worked best when people weren't taking hot showers prior to using it). The garden beltway (walkway) to Poipu beach was beautiful (I recommend you find this path right away to start enjoying the nearby beaches). The pool and jacuzzi were also wonderful to have nearby. The location for sightseeing as well as eating out was ideal. Excellent emails and directions were included by the owners. We would definitely recommend this place!"

  • A Perfect Location in Poipu...

"If you are interested in Poipu Kai Regency, look no further than this perfect unit! This unit is in the rear of the building, away from the road, not facing parking, across from the pool so you can see when it's empty or when the grill is being used, and adjacent to the Greenbelt. Great walks: to right down to Poipu Beach and beyond: the left. to the Hyatt and on to the Maha'ulepu cliffs and spectacular scenery. Easy walking distance to good restaurants, including at the Hyatt. Very well-appointed and well-equipped for cooking meal in the unit. The Big Save is much better that it used to be for meat, fish, poke, fresh veggies, wine, etc. Great Farmers' Market on Wednesday at Kukui-ula Shopping Center - and fruit stand right across the road! Juliana and Jim are great hosts..."
