  • Excellent accommodations

"This property is perfect for a large group. We had 10 in our party. Plenty of room to enjoy one another's company or enjoy your owe peace and quite on 4 different lanai's. Kitchen was well stocked with varies appliances, cooking pots and pans, and utensils. A good supply of beach items as well. There were also plenty of movies for the DVD and books to read as well but we didn't have time for any of that. The unit was in excellent condition. Bed and pillows were all very comfortable. 2 very nice large bathrooms and 1 standard size bathroom. Any problems that we had (which was 1) was taken care of quickly by Jim & Juliana. We can't say enough about this place and the way Jim & Juliana handled the management of it. We would definitely rent from them again."

  • Comfortable Well-Equipped Condo in a Good Location

"We spent 10 nights in this spacious condo with our two children. The grandparents were supposed to come with us so we wanted the extra space. In the end they couldn't come so it was more space than we needed but that is never a bad thing. The place will comfortably sleep 7 since the loft has a king size bed and a twin. It was really nice being able to put the kids to bed and then spend time in the living room at night reading or watching TV. In a hotel room, you don't have another room. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. It had every cooking utensil, pot, and pan you would ever need. We went to Costco and Walmart the first day and stocked up on food for the entire trip. We ate almost all of our breakfasts and dinners at home and made picnic lunches to eat on the beach. Saved a lot of money and was much more convenient with two little ones (4 and 6). There was also a very well-stocked beach closet with sand toys, beach towels, mats, umbrellas, etc. On the balcony there were beach chairs and boogie boards. So the only thing you need to bring are masks and goggles and you are set. The kids also enjoyed swimming at the condo pool, although its pretty small for larger kids. There is a BBQ at the pool that you can use for grilling. We had to open up all the doors and windows in addition to the ceiling fans to cool off, but then generally it was ok. We spent most days away from the condo so we were only there in the mornings and at night, but on the few occasions we came back in the middle of the day, it was warm but tolerable. If we had had air conditioning I would have used it, but we survived without it. The one thing we couldn't have survived without was the washer dryer. With all the beach towels, swimsuits, clothes, PJ's, rash guards, etc for 4 people, we had to do wash every day and I don't see how anyone comes to the island without them. That was the number one thing that was better than a hotel room. Made our stay infinitely better. So you can bring fewer clothes since you can wash them as you go. Strangely, there were lots of parrots flying around in the evening. We were always able to find parking near the condo. We visited about 7 beaches on the island, so we went to a different beach almost every day. Poipu was great, but we wanted to see the entire island. So the closeness of Poipu wasn't that important to us. Great island--we saw new things every day for 10 days and could have seen more. Definitely need a car to see things. Thanks so much!"

  • I wish I could live here all the time!

"This condo was GORGEOUS! I loved the layout and how comfortable it is- I seriously wish it could be transported to California so that I could have it for my own house. (Do you think the owners can come & decorate my apartment please?) It had EVERYTHING in it too, the listing really wasn't kidding! We were glad to be able to do some laundry, and it was soooo nice to find a place that had enough towels (including beach towels!) We had such a great time there; we were able to walk to the beach, some local bars and restaurants (Breneke's was delicious and had fantastic live music), and it was super easy to get to other places on the island from there. I really liked how simple it was to find the unit, and how close it was to 'town' for when we needed to go to the big stores like Walmart or wanted to go to Kalapaki bay with all of the restaurants and resorts etc. It was a great place for us to vacation since we had peace and quiet at the unit but with full amenities like great accessibility for dragging our luggage around, the pool about 20 steps away, and beautiful, lush tropical landscaping right around the unit, (including one of my favorites) a MASSIVE hibiscus plant full of the most incredible flowers right in front of the condo. It was the best rental I've EVER stayed in on the island and I really hope to be able to go back again soon!"

  • Large, comfortable, updated space in great location!

"We stayed here for a week with five adults and five children in March 2015. There was plenty of space for everyone with all of the amenities families with young kids need (fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, pool/beach toys, vacuum). Though we didn't use the pool (water was too cold), it was just steps away from the apartment. And the beautiful (and extremely kid-friendly) beach was about a 10 minute walk away (along a beautiful path, not along the street). We were also five minutes away from the grocery store and restaurants. The only complaint was that the loft bedroom was pretty warm (because the apartment does not have A/C and that room does not have a window), but the other rooms were always comfortable (outside temps were in the 70s). We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for big groups and families!"
