"My husband and I stayed here for a week. It was absolutely heaven! The rooftop patio is HUGE and amazing, we actually hardly ever left because the view was so beautiful - why go anywhere else? The condo itself is beautifully decorated and comes everything you might need from the towels to the beach gear. We used the kitchen a lot - it was fully stocked with the dishes, utensils and also the condiments! That made grocery shopping so easy. The bed was very comfortable too and the sound of the ocean at night was so soothing. Really, it's a charming condo that feels more like a beach cottage, we couldn't have been happier. Can't wait for our next trip back!"

"We spend 10 nights here in May 2015. It is a very good VRBO. The description & pictures represent the unit well. I can't add personal photo's here but did on Trip Advisor.
The unit is mostly updated. Bedrooms are nice. Each had a slider to the lanai & ample windows for ventilation. The living/dining areas have newer furniture & lots of room. The kitchen was well stocked (everything we needed) but is starting to show its age. The bathroom has a large tile shower (no tub). Next to the bath is a laundry with a full size washer/dryer. This is nice, as you don't have to use the communal laundry on the ground floor.
The lanai is fantastic w/views of the ocean to the SE & peekaboo views to the SW. There are a couple dinettes & 4 lounge chairs on the deck when you’re tired of sand. It's a nice space.
Location is good. It’s a bit quieter here. Poipu Beach is 1.8 miles away. One of the better snorkeling beaches is about 200 yards away. A shopping area is .5 miles away. The regular grocery (Big Save) is 2 miles away. There is one pricey restaurant across the street. The road to Allerton & Spouting Horn runs by the place but street noise wasn't too bad.
The grounds are well maintained & quite nice. The pool closes at sunset, which is a drag. There is no hot tub. The BBQ area has a couple newer gas BBQs that work well.
It’s a very private unit. It’s on the top (4th floor) of the condo building & there are only 2 units on top (this unit is not for the mobility impaired – no elevator). This unit faces the ocean while the other faces the countryside. There is no one above you or on 3 sides of you. No one walks by your door or peaks in your windows. That is very nice.
The owner does not supply beach equipment like many others do. This place had one working beach chair & one broken one. There were several sets of snorkels in different stages of decay & a styrofoam ice chest that appear to have been left behind by previous guests. There isn’t AC so be prepared for it being hot sometimes. There are fans & a breeze generally blows through the unit. WiFi is DSL & a bit slow.
It's still a very good unit that I would recommend it to friends."

"This was our first time renting a condo and it was the best experience. Florence was so easy to work with and sent a lot of excellent information from restaurants to car rental and activities. We will definitely stay here again. The breeze through the condo was fabulous and kept us comfortable all night long. We enjoyed the pool. Took advantage of the laundry so we could start out 'clean' for the next island. We visited the McBryde Botanical Gardens and hope to do Allerton on the next visit. The bathroom is nice with plenty of room for necessities. The shower is an nice size. We particularly liked falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing on the beach. I really miss that. Thanks Florence for making it so pleasurable to rent a condo."

"This condo is nestled within many other newer condo's, but it's smaller, quieter and in a great location. The tradewinds go right thru the unit to keep it comfortable for sleeping. The pool is great and wasn't the least bit noisy or crowded. The location for watching the surfers from the Beach House restaurant was a very short walk away which was very nice to experience. And hearing the waves crashing on the lava rock from this unit's living room day and night was awesome."
