"We really enjoyed our stay in unit 179. The owners were great to work with and were quick to return my emails. Check-in and check-out at the Outrigger office was easy and quick. Upon arrival to the condo, we found it to be very clean and the views as described. I could sit on the lanai and watch the surfers at the ocean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. There are roosters on the property that awake pretty early, but the sound of the trade winds blowing through the palms lulled us to sleep. By the second or third day I didn't even notice the roosters. The beach was an easy stroll of no more than a couple of minutes if that. We enjoyed watching the sunsets from beautiful lawn. I would rent this condo again in a heartbeat."

"Mark and Nancy's house is a very practical design, built for the climate with excellent cross ventilation. This natural ventilation supported by excellent fans and air conditioners in each of the bedrooms makes for a comfortable stay.
This house is very well equipped, especially in the kitchen. Tiled floors throughout and high ceilings in the main living room make for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Ample room for six adults and with the additional living room, bedroom and bathroom downstairs this house is great for an extended family vacation. Although the house had most bedrooms and living area on the first floor the stairs weren't a problem, even for the 85 year old in our party.
A BBQ on the verandah is certainly a top spot for dinner in the early evening.
Location is very quiet and a very easy walk to Breeeckes Beach which is a wonderful place for young children to paddle and swim in the sheltered swimming spot near the Poipu Park. The snorkelling is great, even with the relatively shallow water. There is also deeper water nearby. Brenneckes Broiler is also an easy walk and a relaxed place for lunch or dinner with very friendly service.
This is a great holiday house with an excellent design, very thoughtfully equipped for a great stay."

"This was our 4th visit within 4 years and Hale Huna is still fantastic. The design of this large comfortable home, which includes 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, easily accommodates vacationing families. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor space available for our 2 families, which this year is a group of 4 adults and 4 teens. Hale Huna is located in a quiet, safe area within easy walking distance to multiple beaches. Hale Huna is very clean and well stocked with towels and supplies. Clear directions are provided along with an easy check-in and out process.
As usual, we had a great time and experience at Hale Huna. We continue to enjoy the location, amenities, privacy and setting of this special home. We’ve used the following words in previous reviews describing Hale Huna and they all still hold true: “excellent, incredible, spectacular, spacious, perfect and wonderful.”"

"This gets a 5 star review not because it is a 5 star accommodation, but because it is everything it says it is, with great location and price. A small studio (like a large hotel room) with a small(ish) bathroom, a full kitchen including all utensils, a sliding glass door out to a 2 person hot tub. Really only steps from the beach (you walk past 2 houses to get to Poipu Beach Park). All of your Poipu activities are close by. Brenneke's is a block away but you can't hear it at night. The Poipu shopping malls are about 1 or 1.5 miles away, which makes for a nice evening walk. No air conditioning, which is fine in the winter, but I wonder how it will be in summer. There were roosters crowing in the early morning two of our four nights, so if you're a very light sleeper this could get annoying. The space was perfect for two, and the location was excellent if you want to be right near the resorts but not pay the resort fees."
