"Nice clean condo, no air condition but I believe that is normal in Kauai. Nice view of shipwreck point."

  • Returning for just a few days and forever grateful.

"We have stayed in this unit previously and have kept in touch with the owners. I am forever grateful to Bob & Linda for allowing us to stay for just a few nights. We travelled back suddenly to attend a Celebration of Life and it was comforting to have a peaceful place to rest. The new tables and dresser in the bedroom are beautiful."

  • Awesome spot on Poipu Beach!!!

"At first, I was a little hesitant to rent this unit since there were no reviews but I am SO glad I did!!! The owner was great to deal with and phone calls/e-mails were returned promptly. The location of this condo is top notch (1st building off beach!) and we loved hearing the waves as we fell asleep each night. The amenities in the unit are simple but all we needed. I thought the layout was a little quirky because of a 2nd sink off the hallway but we were glad it was there. My husband and I didn't have to share a sink!! We could see the ocean from the dining room table. The great lawn that unit 183 opens onto is breathtaking and super fun for children to run and play. There is a beach shack right next to the condo where you can exchange towels and pickup beach chairs each day. I believe you can also rent snorkel gear there too. Outrigger manages the property on site and everything was handled smoothly, including a towel exchange mid-week. The owner arranged for Outrigger to provide us with a high chair and pack-n-play ($5 per night) for our toddler during our stay. This owner is a member of the Athletic Club across the street so we were able to use their pool, exercise equipment, etc. It's a short walk from the unit. There is no AC in the condo but being an end unit, there are blinds on 3 sides of the unit so we got the cross breeze from the tradewinds. There are ceiling fans in the bedroom and family room that make it comfortable. The couch can fold out to a bed if needed. There are 2 TV's in the unit, boogie boards, umbrella & beach chair as well as a book collection to borrow from. Each morning, we set out on a walk and had a gorgeous view of the coastline in both directions. I honestly don't know if we'll go anywhere else in Hawaii after staying at Kiahuna. It's a little piece of paradise."

  • We'll be back!!

"Had a lovely time at Manualoha. This is our 3rd time visiting Poipu, and Gail's condo was the best. We have a toddler/almost-2 year old and location was PERFECT for a short walk to Brennecke's/Baby beach (or even closer to the pool which was nice, but we never felt urge to use) and avoiding use of the rental car. Was pleasantly surprised upon entering the condo at how up-to-date and comfortable all the furnitures/fixtures were (picture nice hotel rooms). We like to cook a lot when we travel, and found the kitchen to be well stocked to allow this (as opposed to some places we have stayed in the past with only the obligatory 1-2 pans/1 dull knife, etc.). Another positive on the cooking front was the sparkling clean (literally cleaned every night/morning by the staff) Weber Genesis grill just a few steps away from our patio, which we frequent use of. Grassy area on which the grill stands is also a great place for the kids to play (and basically extends all the way to the coast) Also lots of beach goodies in the closet to make use of (beach chairs, boogie board, etc..) so no need to spend extra $$'s on those things. All in all, nothing more to say that hasn't been said in the other positive reviews. Had a great time, and look forward to returning soon. Thanks Gail!"
