"This was a wonderful condo! The grounds are beautiful, and this unit overlooks the pool, lawn area, and has a distant ocean view of Shipwrecks Beach. Loved the large lanai and it's beautiful view! Enjoyed the view and sound of the ocean from the master bedroom. My teenage son was disappointed that the second room (his) was dark and didn't have a view as it faced the parking lot. The unit was clean and well-equipped: one boogie board (though online description says 2), pool toys, snorkel equipment, swim fins, water shoes, pool towels, beach chairs... everything you need but don't want to pack for a comfortable day at the beach or the pool. There were a few quirky things that need fixing (master bath faucet that didn't turn off completely, master bath door doesn't latch shut, some blinds were bent/broken) but they were minor issues that didn't affect our stay. The location close to Poipu Beach was very nice. Would definitely stay here again!"

  • Wonderful honeymoon spot!

"There's not a lot more we can add to the previous reviews - Hale Nani Mala was a spectacular closing week to our honeymoon. The house was exactly as advertised - even better, I'd say, with every appliance, gadget, amenity, etc. that you would want. Definitely 5*. It was spotlessly clean - even the laundry detergent cap was good as new. The only thing we couldn't find was a laundry drying rack - but I bet it's there somewhere. The kitchen was fantastic to cook in, the outdoor shower was perfect for washing off after the beach, the private pool was amazing, and the living room was awesome - great ambiance. We spent many nights relaxing, drinking wine and eating home-cooked (and take out!) food in front of the huge TV before going for a late-night dip. It did get pretty hot in the house at night when the doors were shut, but not unbearable and the fans were quite helpful. If you are very affected by the heat, I'd say go in a cooler month (if they exist...I think we were there during a mini heat wave). In additional to the beautiful home, the nearby attractions were great. We walked to a cheap pub (Kalapaki Joe's) with great wings and happy hour deals, to an expensive restaurant (Tidepools at the Hyatt) and the Hyatt beaches and an amazing hike on the cliffs. And the Wednesday farmers market at the local shops stocked our fridge with well-priced veggies and baked goods. I really can't comprehend why someone would complain that the pool isn't heated. In fact, we would have preferred it to be cooler! Perhaps we're used to the colder water being from Canada and swimming in lakes in the summer. But we sat in the un-heated/non-working "hot tub" many days during happy hour for literally an hour without getting cold. The price is somewhat steep if it's just two of you, but incredibly spacious and reasonable if you were two couples or a family. You will not be disappointed choosing Hale Nani Mala!!"

  • Beautiful Getaway in Kauai

"My fiancee and I went here with another couple and we had a wonderful time. The home is beautiful and the view from the lanai is amazing. We watched the sunset every night. The home is situated on a really nice part of the island where you can really go anywhere without much travel time. The place had all the amenities we needed and was a great place to not only sleep and hangout but also to cook and entertain."

  • Wow ~ Much more than what I expected ~ absolutely loved it!

"This place was amazing! The view from our porch was spectacular, we would drink our early morning coffee and watch the sunrise and then the whales appear! More than comfortable, spacious, everything I could ask for. I am so glad you had that three night window of opportunity for us to enjoy your place, beautiful!"
